Unfortunately, the companions are utilized solely because we have to use Shepherd's to get any respectable damage. As the others have said before me, it is pretty terrible design.
Shako grants you 4 points to every skill so I do not have to skill Wolves. If you are not using Shako you will have to pull a point from Circle of Life or Safeguard to skill Wolves.
Using compaions n shepards aspect is not pulverize i fucking hate how everything thinks you have to use companions n shepards aspect in order for your build to be good PSA you fucking dont!!
Jeez calm down. Also, you kind of do need them, Its like Barbs and their shouts. If you feel you don't need them that's totally fine but 99% of the community disagrees. I mean if they didn't you wouldn't be screaming into the void right now. 🤣
@@supersizesenpai that’s also bc 99% of the community didn’t main druid from preseason, 99% of the community can’t make a build without maxroll icyviens d4builds or mobalytics, also pulverize was way strong before tHe CoMMunItY tHiNkS you need companions in builds and did just fine without them
@@chrishaas7039 I guess you are the only druid main out there, huh? Lets be real, maining any character in this game means very little. Most people end up pouring hours upon hours into all the characters. There isn't that much to do in this game. And with so much time per season, its easy to main every character. Shit, I already have 3 level 100 character who can at least push pit100 comfortably.. I'm working on my Sorc right now and it hasn't even been a month since the season started. The saddest part is that I don't play nearly as much as most people do cuz I spend most of my gaming time on Destiny 2. So being a "druid main" holds little water. Again, if you feel like your build is superior that's fine. However, the community (myself included) disagree. I don't think much else needs to be said after that. Its clear that this is a "agree to disagree" situation and I feel no further discussion on it is necessary. All the best to you.,
You're right you don't have to use Shepherd's for the build to be good. It functions just fine with the standard set up in lower tiers. However, the damage gain is necessary in order to push into higher Pit Tiers. I'm not telling anyone how to play, I'm just giving them another option and demonstrating its effectiveness. We didn't need Shepherd's back in the earlier seasons because the "endgame" that existed was hilariously easy to the point where any moderately put together build could steamroll through it. Pulverize was no exception.

Yes. Shepherd's Aspect makes them stat sticks. It's horrible class design and needs to be changed ASAP.
