Have you thought about toggle latch clamps to secure the fenders? Similar to chest latches, I think those would work out nicely. Now I gotta go watch the previous 4, but nice video and cool idea.
I need a picture or video of the three lines on the gas tank. They go to a think it’s a vapor tank under the fender on a stepside I need to see where are the three lines hook up to Thank you
Haha awesome I love my LUV and I will never get rid of it!

Thanks, I will look into that. I was just thinking of welding a bolt with a hole for a pin to hold it against the rocker panels. 👍
That's cool! Is that as far as it will open, though? It seems like the fenders are kind of in the way as far as working on the engine.
Thanks Bud, It will flip all the way beyond straight up. I am going to put something in place to limit it and give you room to work under the hood. 😎
@@LuvTruckGarage Good deal! 👍
nice and simple. Luv it! lol keep em coming!
Thanks! Will do!
Can you help me with gas line from a 1978 chevy stepside
I will try, what exactly do you need? The hose from the tank to the filler nozzle?

Great job Tim. How far are you going to take the body work on this LUV ?
Thanks Brian, I am not sure yet. I'm just trying things I have always wanted to do to a Luv. I am planning to shorten up the bed next.
