💚 those darn sad books! It's always hard to pick those up where you know it will be good but you don't want to cry. If you are wanting to read more Jane Austen, I suggest Emma. It's a fun comedy about Emma who tries to be a matchmaker to everyone but is terrible at it.
Sounds like a fun project! Even though the sad books are rough, I have a hard time picking them up as well😅 I'm too much of a mood reader to pull it off, I've tried for years, but I just don't do it🤣 I hope you like Persuasion, it's one of my favourites by Jane Austen, very romantic!💜
I’m the same way with sad books and decided to put quite a few on my 2025 tbr to force myself to get to them sooner lol. I truly hope you love Addie Larue when you get to it💜💜
@shedreamsinwords Those sad books man, I know they are likely going to be good but I have to be in the mood to cry!! 🤣 Ooh, I am excited to read Addie Larue!
I did 80% of mood reading the entire year and the other 20%. I had a set TBR and I’m taking the last couple weeks off of the year from reading and I will be doing the same in 2025 what i did in 2024.
love Finlay Donovan! Id recommended binging the series rather than waiting a long time to continue the series bc each book piggybacks off the previous.
I’m having the same problem where I have quite a few extra books on my brainstorm list for 2025. I like your solution but there is no way I would finish all of them. I fell short on my 2024 list.
I've read a few of these: Beach Read, Madison May, Dream On, and Addie LaRue. They were all pretty good. My mom read Personal Librarian and liked it. I have An English Bride in Scotland, but I haven't read it yet. (My copy is a stepback!) Interested in a buddy read when it comes out of the jar? 🤎🤍💖
You’ve really been *sleighing* bookmas this year and I’m excited to have so many videos to catch up on!
@@shedreamsinwords Thanks! 😊 I have been having fun doing it this year!

@megansbooknook519 I have Emma on my physical TBR shelf, too! 🙂

@angiemarquez06 Oh, that's awesome, I try to stick to my TBR for the most part, but there have been some months I ended up mood reading. 🙂

@@abi_jean_reads Oh, thanks for letting me know because I definitely take my sweet time between books in series.😁
@taratalksbooks same 😂
@@abi_jean_reads I'm glad I am not alone! 🤣

@BargainCounterArgument-r8f Ooh yes, I'd love to do a buddy read for An English Bride in Scotland. That's awesome you got the Stepback! 😊
