Works great - thank you for sharing. One issue is that if you decide later to move the model to a different folder (which you can do on the transmitter within the model select functionality), the checklist note file does not move with it. I needed to go back into bootloader mode and move the file from the old folder to new folder. Small annoyance that can be avoided by building a good folder list and getting the model in the best folder to start.
That's a very good point. Still the first implementation of it. Might be further improved in the future. But I do say they are moving in the right direction.
@@all_rcThank you for replying. Not exactly. If you go to the 00:00:53 mark on the video, to the left of the checklist, there is a graphic of your transmitter showing the switches and throttle positions. That graphic is what I was referring to. I have seen it on the X20 series as well, so I am not sure if the X18 series has that functionality or not.
Ah. I don't run an X18 but it's the standard start up check list if a switch is in a non default position or your throttle is on. Try turning on your transmitter or change models while your throttle is not fully down. You should get a throttle warning and that graphic should pop up. Maybe the X18 doesn't have it?
@@all_rc I get the warnings, so that's not the issue. I do appreciate your trying to help. I'll just chalk it up to the X18 series not having it. Thank you for trying! Keep up the great videos too! They have been a huge help with Ethos!
I just called a friend who has the x18 and he says it doesn't come up on his radio as well. I guess they omitted it on the 18 since the screen is smaller?
Were you doing the update through Ethos Suite? That is usually the best way to update your transmitter. I did a video on that: ruclips.net/video/v5bRlZU6cy0/видео.html

Thank you for sharing this! Very helpful. Question: How would I get the graphic of the transmitter showing the switches? I have an X18S.
Try this. Press the SYS, go to HARDWARE, and go to HARDWARE CHECK. Is that what you mean?
