  • The Bruce Trail is 890kms from the Niagara River to Tobermory. Few complete an end to end hike... even fewer complete the trek as a thru-hike.
    Bruce completed the first third in the fall of 2018 and was forced off the trail with an injury. Starting in July 2019, Bruce attempts to complete the last 2 thirds.
    This time he is wiser, better prepared and hiking with a friend.
    Follow Bruce and Chris as they hike the Bruce on their "End to End" ... “thru-hike" attempt.

    Thanks, this is very helpful for any thru hikers wanting to know about gear. You have carefully chosen some of the highest rated gear, has this come from research or through your experiences?

      Both... lots of research and many miles and years on the trail. Life is good!

    Is "stealth camping" ,camping where you are not supposed to be camping?

    • @Campology
      @Campology  4 года назад +3

      No... perhaps for some. I define it as camping in a non-camping spot that is discreet, secret, respectful and legal.

    Hey there! Enjoyed your video. I'm doing a section of the Bruce in a week or so with a group and then I'm hoping to finish it on my own. Stealth camping is likely necessary. Since I'm not from the area it's not easy to scope out the best spots. Have you come across any place listing off a few areas that could be ideal? Have a great hike! Maybe we'll run into each other at some point.

      Stealth camping is an "art form"... discrete, legal and safe are just a few of the issues... not to mention when stealth camping you can't stop early in the day in order not to disturb the locals :)... happy trails

    How did the LT5's hold up on the trail?

      Perfect.... I have 800 kms with them so far, and hiked some challenging trails. Love em. I’m planning on bringing them on the AT next year.
