My eyes are watering, goodness! My teen son, who recently joined the military, just texted me that he wants to hike the AT when his contract is up. I used to watch your videos all the time, so I knew what a wealth of information your channel is so I came here to send him a link to it. Wasn't expecting this, how beautiful! I raised him on my own and have pretty much decided I'll probably not have a life partner at this point. But, I pray that my son finds a wonderful young woman, like yourself, to go through life with. I started watching Homemade Wunderlust in 2018 to help me prepare for two months on the Appalachian Trail. Always a good video on the Homemade Wunderlust channel. But this was the best one. I'm trying to look at only positive videos on RUclips anymore, and this certainly fit the bill. Thanks for sharing.

That was beautiful. You looked gorgeous, Dixie. Now, remember, this is also a through hike. You will walk up hill, downhill, in rain and sunshine. You will cross rivers, go around lakes, ferry across (or walk on water) where no passage seems possible, to get to the other side. Sometimes, your headlight won't work, so you need to trust his. Just stay together. It's a commitment. It is a group effort. You are hiking together now, and it means agreeing with each other, and sticking to it no matter what. May Jesus keep you both together, and may you draw nigh to Him.
