Doesn't surprise me in the slightest. I gave the game a try when it fully released a few months ago and it's just really lackluster. It had no real advertising campaign, it's monetization system sucked, and the PvP feature that they tried to push into the game was very half baked. It feels like it was made for people who had never heard of payday before, or just never played it. But how are they gonna know there's a mobile payday if it's barely being advertised? It was destined to fail.

Well the game itself isnt that very enjoyable. frequently frame drops , difficult movement , more confusing stealth mechanic , and also too much focus on unlocking weapons and equipment from safe and also "bugs"

i did play, it was fun, but it was super unoptimized, or just too demanding for a regular phone
hard to want to play a mobile game, if it sucks all your battery and heats up your phone

I can say as about a few hours before of the shut down i have to say that it was pretty cool but it really makes sense why it would shut down, no advertisments not good optimization and a lot of stuff, dam tho i feel sad :(

To me, it died when they got rid of the cops vs robbers mode and instead turned it into the most generic pvp mode ever
