Thank you for going slow and taking you time (slowly for those of us who does not move along as quicker than others.) you helped me so much. Thank you Vonnie
This worked perfect for me. Thank you for the tutorial. I added 3 extra chains between each flower and just kept on the same yarn strand. I made a really long chain of 9' of them to trim out a little girl cuddle blanket and just stitched them to it. Super cute. Thanks again.
An alternate leaf: Chain 6, 1/2 dc in 2nd chain from hook; 2 dc in 3rd; dc and 1/2 dc in 4th; sc in 5th, sl st in 6th; ch 2 picot. Work back up the other side by reversing stitch order. Working over the knot and tail at the same time, sl st in 6th; sc in 5th; 1/2 dc and dc in 4th; 2 dc in 3rd; 1/2 dc in 2nd and then sc into the top of the first row 1/2 dc to finish off the leaf. Hope this helps.
made one, heavier weight yarn. flowers came out nice just bigger. leaves, however, were a challenge. So I used a slightly larger hook 4.5mm and worked out alright. Love this pattern so I'll be making some more for gifts to friends! We all read our Bibles so bookmarks come in handy!
Thank you kindly for this video. I was getting confused when the pattern said "...all in the same space (or stitch as I would read it)" Making one in different colors for my mom. ^_^
the first pedal was ok and after the slipstitch I go do the next one but the wool goes over the space and makes it look like a bloob I tired to do it diff ways in the holes but looks like a mess not a petal
