Inspector Lewis is a wonderful show and Laurence Fox is one of the reasons it is so wonderful. He's extremely charming and not bad to look at either. Love Kevin Whatley also because of his wonderful voice and folksy charm.. This is a great video and I wish there were more of this type of video featuring these two excellent actors.
This is excellent! For some reason the uncovering of corpses was my favourite part - I sound so morbid but I just really liked the timing with the music!
Kevin Whately is a simple peasant from the north: primitive, vulgar and uncultivated ( just watch how he holds his coffecup). And that is exactly how we regard "northeners" here in the southern parts of Norway. Quite unfairly. I suppose. I believe there's a lot of Viking-blood in people from Newcastle ( like Lewis). That said, I absolutely love Morse, Lewis and Hathaway (as well as Barnaby and Dalziel).
