Feel sorry for the cougar with what looks like a hip injury. Unfortunately, before too long he will starve to death I'm sure. He needs speed to down prey and I can't see him being successful in a hunt. Poor guy.

That critter can eat rats squirrel and racoons for a hot minute.. it may recover.
