I’ll be praying with you brother! God has a plan and will give you the comfort you need if you lean on him. I know this doesn’t compare because it wasn’t my father but one of my best friends killed himself in January and it has been difficult to say the least but God has a way of giving comfort when it feels impossible!

Hey Roman, I just wanted to stop by and say that I have been enjoying this new channel very much as I have been connecting deeply with every message you have put forth at the beginning of each video. To give a little backstory, I have overcome many weird obstacles over the past 20 years, or my 36 years on this planet. Starting in 2005, as a freshman in college, with Hurricanes Katrina & Rita. Followed by having a near death experience when I ripped my pancreas in half after falling while simply running down the street. After this, I was carjacked in front of my own home in New Orleans... (I know... its a lot, and thats just 3 of the 20 years) One would think that I would have taken those things and decide that life was worth living and actually do something amazing with the luck I had to still be here, and alive. However, I did the complete polar opposite and started up a solid 15 year active addiction to pain pills, and squandered many opportunities given to me such as being part owner in two restaurants in my little Louisiana hometown. Needless to say, at 36 years old, I have spent the past 5 years being in and out of recovery and different programs to help me through it... but yet, I still felt like I was always letting my friends and family down. I wont say that you are a direct impact on me kind of coming out of my shell over the past year, but I will say that your message of hope, and perseverance (and of course Smiling More) have really sparked my interest in digging deeper and finding out who I really am... I don't know if you read these comments, but in the off chance that you do, I just wanted to thank you for being a positive influence in not only my life, but the millions of subscribers who follow you. Again, thank you for being such a positive influence in the world because not too many people these days tend to have that sort of self reflection!
