Kendra Tierney’s Catholic All Year Liturgical Living book. If you don’t already have this book, it’s a game changer!! I have found so many helpful ideas from her book.. Family rosary.. We homeschool so we try to go to weekly adoration/confession.
Hi! I’m not catholic but we put Jesus in our family first! We love to pray together, and thank Jesus for all the blessings he gives us, we try to show Gods love by how we serve one another
I have a small altar right at the entrance of my house. I want everyone coming into my home to know that it is dedicated to the Lord. I always look forward to your videos, Heather!
Thank you Mrs Johnson, you are a great inspiration to Catholic mothers and families in general, your humility in your vocation to marriage as a wife and a mother is just beyond words, God bless you so so much. I have a small home altar with pictures of Jesus and Mother Mary ( The Divine Mercy, Sacred heart and immaculate heart), a crucifix and Saints - padre PIO and St. Faustina. I got a crucifix on the living room wall and bed rooms (with more pictures - esp. of Mama Mary and Jesus. We have been consecrated to the immaculate heart of Mary, pray the the rosary, the Divine Mercy, go to mass on Sunday (must)... In all these, I have learned a lot from you, I'm grateful
Great video! I have just started a small altar in our hallway nook. It’s the first thing I see in the morning and the last thing at night. Plus all the time I walk by during the day, since I work from home! I love the idea of consecrating our house to both the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Mary.
Hi Heather! I just wanted to thank you for all of your great content. I've been subscribed for nearly a month now, but I've been devouring your content. Your channel is very unique and inspiring. I love how you celebrate our faith by making the most out of our Saints. I'm 39 years old and struggling with fertility. I want nothing more than to be a mother and celebrate with my children. Even though I don't have kids yet, I'm enjoying celebrating the feasts and making the most out of Catholic tradition. Unfortunately, I see way too many lax/fairweather Catholics. Thats why i love seeing women like yourself inspire others to fully embrace our faith. God bless you and your beautiful family! 💛🤍💛
My husband reads the bible daily. I watch and participate in mass via RUclips daily. I pray the rosary daily and read the daily readings everyday. Sometimes its what u get rid of in your home- just donated all my astrology and yoga books
I am 27 yrs without a job and without a life partener and I know Gentle Jesus is watching me write this he is doing something about that.I always have imagyned how when i get a job or even my family how i will put our prayer room to be like.Thankyou for this
Thank you, these are all so important! I homeschool my children and read about the Saints frequently with them. Yesterday my eight year old son read about the 26 Japanese Martyrs from 400 years ago today. During our morning prayer before school today, his prayer was that he could suffer with Jesus. Part of me wanted to cry of happiness and the other part wanted to cry from fear! Haha
We homeschool too! My 5 year old told me today that she wanted to be a saint and a nun when she grows up. I just said "I would totally support that if that's God's plan for you." I was very proud of her because I never thought I'd hear my child say that, regardless if it'll happen or not, it's the fact she was even thinking it that warms my heart ❤️
Hi. I am a Catholic and I am very thankful to watch your video's because it inspired me to grow more closer to God and Mother Mary. I really really love your videos ❤️
Hi Heather! This is the first time we ever blessed our home. The Church gives the laity permission to do our own home blessing. I never knew that until I got an email from EWTN this year for the epiphany. So my husband went around the house with the kids and blessed each room. So cute bc the kids were holding Saint Nicholas statue a crucifix etc.. I know this is something we will continue to do.
We just had visit of our parish priest. He blessed our house and ALL outside doors!! . We had nice lunch and chat with him. We do it every year after Christmas.
Holiness in our family: I often remind my children to pray and to talk to God. I have one teenager and 2 young adults. One has moved out. I tell them I pray for them, so they know that someone is bringing them up in prayer to God. I display things in my home so we can have visuals of our Lord. I want them to see that we can have a daily relationship with Jesus and we can come to him in prayer. Attending mass every week has helped me tremendously in my walk with the Lord. I pray that his light is reflected in our home.
I really love how much time and thought you put into education and knowledge-seeking in your home. In your videos, you are always encouraging your kids to read more about the different saints' lives and learn more about the ideas and philosophies in Catholicism. And you're so knowledgeable and thoughtful too, when you talk about your life and the things that matter to you! Your channel really inspires me while my partner and I are thinking about starting our own family.
Truly beautiful and inspirational! Thank you very much for sharing all these practices! Your videos are a treasure to achieve a daily dedication to a true religious life. Many blessings to you, your family and all your subscribers!
Heather, you are so knowledgeable about our faith; these are great ideas! I absolutely love your prayer room and all the beautiful pictures and statues on the shelves.
Heather, wonderful video! I love how you explain the Catholic faith. It has helped me so much deepen my relationship with Jesus and the Catholic faith. I wish we were friends! I would’ve loved to have you at my wedding. I am giving birth Thursday, 01/26 at 7:30 am EST. Would love it if you could pray for me and my third son to be delivered safely via c section. It has been a very difficult pregnancy. Would love to know if you think I should wait until I deliver to consecrate my children to our blessed mother or if I should consecrate before delivery? Thank you Heather! ❤️
Wow so exciting!!! I will pray for you and your son! You can consecrate him everyday if you would like! Saint Pope John Paul consecrated himself to Mary everyday! And we can do the same:). God bless you! So exciting:)
Hello Heather, happy new year to your entire family. And thank you for all these tips. I did the consecration to Mary after watching one of your videos and I renewed this year during Advent, after seeing your Advent video, too. Thank you so much for all the ideas you are sharing to strengthen our faith. I can so relate about happy and holy marriage. :) we have 2 boys, 5 and 3 years old. The 5 year old is very vocal that he is going to marry his classmate when he grows old and he even have the names of their kids ready. Hehee. At first, I was irritated, but now it makes me happy thinking that he finds being married a happy thing because he hopefully sees me and his father being happy together, so he wants to experience the same when he gets older. ❤️❤️❤️ I always ask him though if he wants to be a priest when he gets older. ❤️❤️
What is the consecration to Mary you do by yourself in the mornings? The one that helped your husband come to a deeper conversion (: id like to pray that one if you don’t mind sharing.
I do this one every year it is for 33 days:) www.dpbolvw.net/click-100309242-15345893?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.catholiccompany.com%2F33-days-to-morning-glory-i33911&cjsku=1003118

Do you have any info on the book A daily word for men a 365 devotional?? Interesting in getting it.
Thanks
I’ve also heard from priests say hanging pictures of sacred heart so no natural disaster etc is superstition.
It’s one of the promise’s Jesus told Saint Margaret Mary so it’s not superstitious, the church approved of this devotion.
Thanks for replying Heather. That’s good to know. I’ll have to read more too
While you were filming it how did you make the sign of the cross ?
Is a prominent Crucifix (or Divine Mercy) the same as having the Sacred Heart?
Plz help me🙏
