  • This video is actually a renewal video that I uploaded for the first time when I founded this channel in 2020. In the past, it was only my video that had a new concept in presenting the Soviet Anthem with photos of its officials, and now several other channels have followed. The video has actually been viewed half a million times. But I deleted it a few months ago because I wanted to recreate it with more clips and information. However, I didn't include all the clips even though you can find them yourself, because I was only looking for really relevant ones.

    This is an updated video that I uploaded in 2020, but I deleted it a few months ago even though it has been watched more than half a million times, I promise to update it and this is the result. In this video there are also some clips of funerals for iconic figures, for a special video specifically for the soviet anthem at the funeral, you can see other videos from my channel:
    >>> ruclips.net/video/6HWQ76wWvEw/видео.html
    And I apologize for the incomplete information, actually the Chairman was divided into 3 terms, the first was Chairman of The Presidium of The Supreme Soviet from January 17, 1938 - May 25, 1989, after that he was replaced by Chairman of The Supreme Soviet until March 15, 1990 , and the last one was the President of The Soviet Union. For Marshal there were actually many in several periods, but what I meant was the Minister of Defence. And I did not include the dates, only the year. All of the reasons above are due to limited space to put it, I apologize for that, maybe it will be better for the next video update, thank you for your attention...

      to connect the song, because the revolution day 1964 that I found only finished in 1 version, so I put it in front before May Day 1964 which was more than 1 version

    • @AnthemInTime
      @AnthemInTime  2 года назад +15

      Yes! You are right, I also know that, but again the reason above is that after the 1964 May Day Parade to connect songs, it returned to Khrushchev, so I put Brezhnev and Kosygin starting from 1965

    • @AnthemInTime
      @AnthemInTime  2 года назад +16

      Others have asked why I put the 1964 May Day Parade after 1964's Revolution Day? I answered to connect the song. On May Day, Khrushchev was still in office, while Revolution Day had changed to Brezhnev and Kosygin, because I intentionally went back, and was afraid to confuse the layman, I deliberately put Brezhnev and Kosygin starting from 1965 :)

    I think you should've used "Defence Minister" instead of Marshal. The rank of Marshal of the Soviet Union could be held by multiple people at any one time, and the people being referred in those images are the Marshals who served as Minister of Defence rather than the sole Marshal existing that year.

    Good job, but there are a few flaws. The ones I noticed:
    1. In 1946 and 1953, the design of the coat of arms of the USSR was slightly changed.
    2. There were a lot of marshals in the Soviet Union. Apparently, they meant defense ministers, not marshals.
    3. The Chairman is the Chairman of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR? In the Soviet Union, the chairman was common, for example, the Premier was also the chairman - the Chairman of the Soviet of Ministers.
    4. You took a photo of Yazov from the TNO mod for the game HOI 4. I hope it's a joke.
    Thanks for the video!
    Хорошая работа, но есть несколько недостатков. Те, которые я заметил:
    1. В 1946 и 1953 годах дизайн герба СССР был немного изменён.
    2. В Советском Союзе было много маршалов. Очевидно, думаю вы имели ввиду министра обороны, а не маршалов.
    3. Председатель - это председатель Верховного Совета СССР? В Советском Союзе председатель был обычной должностью, например, Премьер -тоже председатель - Председатель Совета Министров.
    4. Вы взяли фотографию Язова из мода TNO игры HOI 4. Надеюсь, это шутка.
    Спасибо за видео!

      Нет, это не так. Фактически в это время после смерти Сталина существовало коллективное руководство в СССР, о котором лидеры партии и государства сразу договорились. Одного фактического лидера тогда не было. Ко второй половине 1950-ых годов же власть узурпирует Хрущёв, который и покончит с коллективным руководством.

    What does Chairman stand for? Party or State?

    • @katunyuz1319
      @katunyuz1319 2 года назад +7

      Chairman is the presiding officer of an organized group such as committee.

    • @shwalkingmeme485
      @shwalkingmeme485 2 года назад +9

      Specifically, the Chairman of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet.
      In layman's terms, the Soviet head of state. Anywhere else, they would be the country's leader. However, because the Communist Party actually ran the Soviet Union, the party's leader was the actual leader of the country. The Chairman's power waxed and waned depending on who the Communist Party leader was.
