If a fighter is tough, not afraid to each punches etc, and closes the distance between herself and Ms. Hiraoka, Ms. Hiraoka can't do much. Arina Kobayashi and Kana defeated Ms. Hiraoka because they were tough, had no fear and relentlessly charged her no matter the cost. Hiraoka gets scared of charging fighters. Her confidence falls. She employs psychological attacks through her famous spinning round kicks. For most oppents, especially novice ones, a spinning round kick from Ms. Hiraoka is psychologically and physically devastating. Hiraoka abdorbs an opponent's fear after a successful spin kick into strength for herself. I saw this in an old match against a Korean woman. The Korean woman didn't want to get too close to Hiraoka thereby putting herself in range of Hiraoka's devastating spin kick. After that, Hiraoka got stronger, absorbing the Korean woman's fear and even did a running kick with great speed from 15 feet away! At the end of the match, the Korean woman had to taken away on a stretcher. No joke.
