Using ZX MT. It is a good car. If one sees it only from a driver's perspective, people will complain of lack of turbo, engine options, blah, blah, blah. From a family perspective this is what it is - Safety features, Good build quality, Reliable, Comfortable, Spacious, Ride Quality, Easiness, Peace of Mind.
I belive lack of turbo is actually a better option , a 1.5 na petrol will definitely be a more relaxed and trouble free engine. What's actually missing is the features of cruise control and basic leather seats even in zx variant apart from it the car is fine .

Too much hyped car that has numerous unsolved quality issues till date. I got Honda in 2 weeks time and it has turned out to be a good deal. Keeps my family comfortable and safer. Thanks for sharing
@@pessimistic_optimism As far as cost cutting, it is there with every brand. Name one which hasn't. Some will give lots of features, great looking interiors but body structure is compromised. Some will give all of these but reliability sucks. People buying luxury cars too see cost cutting in all products. It isn't that the companies are cheating. They all including Indian brands see their expenditure and revenues in US dollar. Since INR has gone down significantly, brands do more cost cutting to keep it still in some affordable range. BTW bigger grill isn't a cost cutting, rather a design element. You can see cost cutting in some parts compared to Honda City.
Drove my Elevate ZX CVT from Mumbai to Chikmagalur-Gokarna-Kolhapur- Mahabaleshwar- Mumbai (1958 Km). Liked the drive quality and never felt lack of power or torque. I had earlier Scross 1.6 alpha diesel and loved my Scross. But frankly Elevate performance is excellent unless you want a sports car class acceleration. For a gentleman like drive, the engine and transmission are par excellence. Infact the suspension is very good. Got mileage around 18.5 kmpl in the entire run. Being an Electronics Engineer, I feel car should have only functional electronics for good reliability with less maintenance cost . Elevate scores on this as you don’t electronics for seat adjustment or parking😊. Overall now I love the car.
I closed the video immediately when the owner said "I was looking at hyryder because it's Toyota, and not looking at grand Vitara because it's Maruti" 😮
Maruti Suzuki offer a standard warranty of 2 year/40,000 km in Grand Vitara and in the other hand Toyotas offers 3 years or 1 lakh km in Hyryder, You also get better after sales service in Toyota.
Both cars are technically same & being manufactured by Maruti only. But i dont think these cars are comparable to other cars in segment. As these cars have under performing engine, with 5 speed manual gearbox. They are only meant for better mileage because of hybrid, but that also comes with higher cost. So practically these are nothing but Breeza with Hybrid
A family member of mine bought this car recently. I got to drive. This Honda 1.5 NA is a good engine. It's economic too. Tried and tested on Indian roads for years with the City. CVT is also great. Just Honda needs to have a better cabin insulation, cz its noisy. The only thing this car is missing and it should have had is ventilated seats, 360 camera. And Perhaps if you stretch you can say a powered driver seat. That's it otherwise it's a good car. It's best suited for relaxed drivers. A good city commuter. Very comfortable too.
i got 23 to 25 kmpl on highway on my amaze petrol cvt but its stressfull . while returning i rode like an average driver and it gave me 19kmpl while arai is 18.6. it all depends on how we drive .
Even I had that experience with Hyundai. Was highly impressed by Creta features, went to book the car emerald green top version CVT, but was getting pushed to buy Turbo version. Got up and left and later zeroed in on Elevate CVT. Even their sales reps were giving facts on which features of elevate was better or inferior to Creta
Mine was excellent experience to on elevate MT ZX while on this recent journey to Ayodhya from Bhopal (1600km+) extremely spacious car, was travelling with my parents who use ciaz as their main car and brother with heavy luggage. Overall Avg 14kmpl+ in extremely stressed traffic with my Eahut kam open stretch mile Avg 60kmpl hai puri trip ka kyunki kuch khali jagah hi nahi hai UP me, sirf Jhansi-Lalitpur stretch was excellent. My only concern was that I observed this short humming/knocking while reversing my elevate when fully loaded on mild slope, steeper I am yet to check. But this doesn't come when on flat slope at all. Has anyone else observed this?
I recently brought SELTOS HTX+ DIESEL 🚗. I can say diesel is having decent torque. Happy with car performance and feature. All though IMT is new for me but it's fun to drive with MT benefits.
Spending 18L on this car and 1) Poor audio system 2) No Radar based ADAS 3) Less mileage 4) Rear seating capacity is congested 5) No ventilated seats 6) Window panel gaps on rubber I really like reliability of HONDA but few things still they didn't keep up with market. Please please please..update.

I think you are asking about Taigun or Kushaq. Both cars are good & it depends on your requirements. I felt Taigun & Kushaq interior room smaller. My head was touching roof even when i am 5 10 only, so i rejected them for Elevate.
Are you driving in bumper to bumper traffic? That could be the reason, but yes please do visit the service center and let us know here if the mileage improved post that.
I also have ZX CVT and am getting 8-9 mileage in the city. Most of the driving was in bumper-to-bumper traffic. My first service is done but still facing the same issue. They hardly do anything within 1st service.
Mileage has improved a little bit after driving more than 150 kms. Now it's around 12-13 kms. I drove it mostly in normal traffic conditions. In Bumper to bumper traffic I don't expect mileage going above 8-9 kms. If you have parked your car and just using AC then mileage drops very quickly. Obviously a little drop is expected when you have stalled but I guess due to powerful AC the consumption is heavy.
There is no difference, If the dealer is offering discounts on a 2023 model, it's worth considering. Just ensure that the vehicle has undergone proper pre-delivery inspection (PDI) despite being in dealer stock for some time.
Honda is Honda ... Elevate might take time but it will also become a loved one. Because when you spend that much money and drive this car ... It's a no nonsense outstanding driving
It really comes down to personal preference. *White* color tends to give the car a clean, elegant look and can make the car appear larger. *Silver* color a sleek, modern appeal and is great at hiding dust and minor scratches.
Grand Vitara & hyryder are both manufactured in the same factory by Toyota !!! I didn't understand. When he said Maruti is not worth it or something like that. Toyota makes one of the most reliable cars in the world.period. Honda also does though...and Maruti Suzuki also makes very reliable cars. Looks & brands are personal choices but at the same time one should not demean other brands without understanding what they stand for!!

Maruti has never offered build quality, the first car ever with 3 star NCAP was Brezza, all the others are 0. At the same time, Grand Vitarra and Hyryder are being manufactured by Maruti Suzuki and not Toyota. Maruti had to launch Nexa to get perceived as luxury branding, however it’s the truth what Honda offers vs how Maruti has been :).
Cabin insulation especially if you are planning to buy the CVT will be very bad. Manual at least you can revv as much as you want and shift up but still it's the worst in the segment unfortunately
It's too costly the honda elevate, as I can see that honda is giving all these features in the honda city v variant. This vechicle isn't a value for money option

They kind of leave their mark/scent and this is why some dogs chase cars all of a sudden and even two wheelers because they smell the urine from other dogs. Creta facelift have better suspension setup but if we compare the 1.5 NA petrol engine honda have a better low end torque and have better power delivery in 2nd and 3rd gear so elevate drives better in city drives but in highway both felt same also stability wise both are gr8. Definitely petrol buyers will be more attracted to elevate for its engine. For people who want better power and torque and want a petrol engine only can go for turbo petrol in new creta but it is a way costly. For people having a tight budget under 20 lakhs and don't want fancy features honda elevate is a good choice. People who want enthusiasm and fancy features should go for creta/seltos facelift 1.5 turbo.
If you are ready to increase budget than also Creta is not good option, explore & you will get far better options in that price range. This is the reason they have now launched Creta N line

Every car give Average higher then ARAI if driven properly I am taking 21kmpl in my City CVT on highway(ARAI is 18.4) I can take average of 18 kmpl in Harier AT on highway (ARAI is just 15 )

I considered that to be a good thing, demands are usually created from scarcity perspective. Which is made to believe people that the company doesn’t have enough supply, which is not the case. The same happened in the case of Thar, as soon as they launched RWD. Honda had enough supply to fulfill the demand :).

😂 camera based adaş is the best of best 😂 Mercedes use them in high end autonomous vehicles Tesla uses it. And camera based lane assist is top tier, it keeps your vehicle in the center and stress seeing the lane. Not like other systems where the car tries to bump you in your lane. 😂
I drove city 5th gen I drove amaze I drove elevate Believe me when I say in elevate you feel even the smallest speed braker and engine noise in the cabin is just tooooo much. I don't understand why no one is talking about it..!!
Its not the engine noise, but that of the tires hitting the road. I agree, the cabin is not very quiet, but didn't feel anything wrong with the suspension, nothing with the speed breakers.
@@snehamangtani172 I find city better in terms of noise insulation and suspension setup. For me Elevate is better in terms of looks, bonet visibility and road visibility. Why I am saying about engine noise is because as I accelerate, the noise due to revving of engine is more in elevate. But again people are buying it if it suits them. Just take a test drive as driver and rear seat passenger and then decide.
I have not tested or driven Astor, but based on specs & review on RUclips, it seems a nice car, but only issue for me was that its a Chinese brand, not sure for long term usage
Honda has deteriorating compared to 2013 and before honda cars. But still this car is very good value and no nonsence car. Korean sisters have the worst headlights and you can't even upgrade if you go for their top end trims. German sisters are still very out of pocket. Toyota feels like SUZUKI MG astor is a good car excellent cabin experience but Naturally aspirated engine is feels very very sluggish and turbo 1.3 will burn your pocket Cetroin C3 aircross :- very outdated but if looking for just driving pleasure someone can try that car also (my personal fav) plus a good set of headlights this car has.
Engine noise comes after 3.5 RPM, pretty smooth before that. Which brings me to either people like revving their cars or speeding it. In that case, go for turbo, NA engine might not be the best choice :).

We have a ZX CVT. Even without turbo, it’s pretty powerful. Even the acceleration using adaptive cruise control is quick.

Does the mileage increase after first service? I have bought ZX-CVT automatic. In city it's giving me 7-8 mileage. Yet to go for my first servicing

Cabin insulation is ok...not upto mark...but driving dynamic is really good
cabin insulation is poor at highway speeds.
You can get damping done outside, however it’s not as problematic, it’s usually beyond 3.5 RPM for it to suffer.
Cabin insulation especially if you are planning to buy the CVT will be very bad. Manual at least you can revv as much as you want and shift up but still it's the worst in the segment unfortunately
cabin insulation in terms of engine revving is good in cvt. it will downshift before its revved too much but tyre noise is very bad@@vijuvlogs

It's too costly the honda elevate, as I can see that honda is giving all these features in the honda city v variant. This vechicle isn't a value for money option
Everything dials down to individual choice at the end of the day, people like CSUVs over Sedans and some like sedans.
However, to the point of “value for money”. No company is offering a top model with all these features at this price :).

They kind of leave their mark/scent and this is why some dogs chase cars all of a sudden and even two wheelers because they smell the urine from other dogs.

Creta facelift have better suspension setup but if we compare the 1.5 NA petrol engine honda have a better low end torque and have better power delivery in 2nd and 3rd gear so elevate drives better in city drives but in highway both felt same also stability wise both are gr8. Definitely petrol buyers will be more attracted to elevate for its engine. For people who want better power and torque and want a petrol engine only can go for turbo petrol in new creta but it is a way costly. For people having a tight budget under 20 lakhs and don't want fancy features honda elevate is a good choice. People who want enthusiasm and fancy features should go for creta/seltos facelift 1.5 turbo.

Grand vitara comes with torque converter not amt and strong hybrid comes with CVT only lower segment cars comes with AMT

😂 camera based adaş is the best of best 😂 Mercedes use them in high end autonomous vehicles Tesla uses it. And camera based lane assist is top tier, it keeps your vehicle in the center and stress seeing the lane. Not like other systems where the car tries to bump you in your lane. 😂

Believe me when I say in elevate you feel even the smallest speed braker and engine noise in the cabin is just tooooo much.

Its not the engine noise, but that of the tires hitting the road. I agree, the cabin is not very quiet, but didn't feel anything wrong with the suspension, nothing with the speed breakers.

For me Elevate is better in terms of looks, bonet visibility and road visibility.
Why I am saying about engine noise is because as I accelerate, the noise due to revving of engine is more in elevate.
But again people are buying it if it suits them.
Just take a test drive as driver and rear seat passenger and then decide.

Honda has deteriorating compared to 2013 and before honda cars.
But still this car is very good value and no nonsence car.
Korean sisters have the worst headlights and you can't even upgrade if you go for their top end trims.
German sisters are still very out of pocket.
Toyota feels like SUZUKI
MG astor is a good car excellent cabin experience but Naturally aspirated engine is feels very very sluggish and turbo 1.3 will burn your pocket
Cetroin C3 aircross :- very outdated but if looking for just driving pleasure someone can try that car also (my personal fav) plus a good set of headlights this car has.
Engine noise comes after 3.5 RPM, pretty smooth before that. Which brings me to either people like revving their cars or speeding it.
In that case, go for turbo, NA engine might not be the best choice :).
