Please enlighten me if the inclusion of the note 're' was 'invented/discovered' by Pt. Ravishankar as claimed, because in Karnatak music we have an equivalent rAga called 'Veena-Vadini'. Kindly elaborate if I am drawing wrong conclusions :(
