Beautiful, before and after, as always! I use the MAC painterly paint pot the same way as you. I recently purchased bare study though as I’m so fair right now and I’m hoping it makes my eyeshadows a bit less muddy.
Also, talk to your dentist about a night time mouth guard! It helps tons with the clenching!

Love your videos but this one was really nice. Nice to see you take your time and really give an in depth look at your application techniques. And unfortunately, everything really starts to change when you hit 40. The metabolism change was the biggest shock to me!

I get ten units per side for my jaw! It made me a little less square- really only physical change. It’s helped so much with my jaw pain!

I did the massiter Botox for a year for help with tmj and migraines. I really regret it and so happy it wore off. It didn't really help and my face looked so weird. I found what really helped was dealing with the stress. Started mediation and it went away and my face looks normal again 😸

I’m with you on the jaw clenching and I am also thinking about Botox because it’s so painful everyday. I think I’m gonna go for it!

I'm gonna be 47 next month. Have I started to really notice age changes recently? Absolutely! But as I say to my younger colleagues...don't be afraid to accept the fact that you're getting older. The wonderful thing about makeup, when done properly, is it can enhance your best features, while at the same time hiding your worst. If you can accept the inevitable, life is SO much easier to deal with. There are worse things in life than a scattered line (or six, lol). You're beautiful as you are! ❤️

Love your makeup tutorials. My sister has TMJ and her dentist gives her Botox around the jaw. I think she does it a couple times a year. Hasn’t changed her face at all and it’s really helped her. I’ve heard of other people doing the same with no issues. Hope that helps. Def ask your doc about it. ❤️

I highly recommend the Botox. I did have it done at my dentist office and it works so good. I’ve never had any issues at all.
Your dentist off it does it??? Omg!!! That is awesome. I have never heard of it being done in a dentist office!
Yeah I get migraines pretty bad and a friend of mine said she had it done there and it helped. My insurance even paid 👍🏼
My sister is a dentist and also does Botox. Our area doesn’t have a lot of Medispa‘s or medical grade aesthetician offices so it made sense for her to pay to go through the training. Areas that are saturated with those types of services might not have dentists that do it, but it never hurts to look :-)

I do clench my teeth as well, and I think I do it during the day.
My dentist told me about botox and of course I did not agree to do it. Then she told me to put my tongue behind my teeth, like when you pronounce letter "N". She said to do it when I am driving and other times to make it a habit. It helps, because I used to put my tongue between my teeth like you, and it scared me, especially during driving. Because I was afraid I would bite my tongue. 😅 Anyway, I hope I am making sense, but I can so much relate, and I am glad you mentioned about botox. 😊
that's actually what I currently do when I catch myself clenching but it only helps once I realize I'm doing it lol its become such a bad habit that I do it all the time without even realizing

I've had botox in my jaw for clenching to help relieve my chronic migraines. It DID help but for my neurologist did it every 12 weeks. And YES, I got jowly from it. And, my jaw looked more narrow but not in a good way. So I stopped after 2 years and haven't had it now for maybe the same amount of time. And, the jowls did get better after 4 months or so. If you want to try it I think you are right, stick with one every year or 6-8 months or something. Since it didn't take my migraines away it only helped a little bit it wasn't worth it for me. About the fillers, please dont get it unless like u said its for ur jaw clenching. Ur naturally beautiful without any fillers. I have seen people who already had full lips and then they got injections for more fuller lips but then it looked awful. So pls, stay natural.
Also… my chiropractor helps me A LOT w my clenching… he works on my jaw when I see him and not only do I feel a difference- I see one as well!
Your eye makeup look is as always gorgeous, I am 50 now and my eyes are so hooded, no wing eyeliner for me sob sob. Could you do make a few eye tutorials for those of us lacking the tight eyelids. x
Try to hold out as long as you can! I believe it will only make you believe you are “ageing? or aging?” more than you actually are if that makes sense. You are flawless! I’m 25 and I see things I don’t like but it’s all part of our process ❤️

I feel the same way about Botox! I’ve never considered getting it but I won 20 units of it for an event. I actually tried gifting it to someone else but they won’t redeem it unless it’s me. So, I’m in the same boat. Maybe just getting some on the forehead and to help with jaw clenching but I’m still so nervous and afraid I’ll like it too much and then hate the way I look without it! Ah, the struggle! Glad I’m not the only one nervous about it!

I've done botox in the muscles at the TMJ joint. I've clenched my teeth for 30 years. It sooooo helps. I'm 52 and have done it 3 times in 4 years, only 4-6 units each side. It helps my sleep so much. My body relaxes better and faster because of it. Just go to experienced botox provider who is familiar with the procedure. Go for it.

I have Botox in my jaw done by my consultant at hospital, he’s a TMJD Maxillofacial Surgeon and he does my injections currently about every 8-10 months. I’ve had about 6 lots in total now although there was a big break during Covid when they weren’t allowed to do them. My smile isn’t strong currently and chewing is slower but I got covid literally a week after the last injections which were only 5 weeks ago. Totally unlucky, never had this issue before and I was fine the week after before having covid. I do know that in about 6 weeks my smile will be absolutely fine again and chewing will become way easier, it’s because my consultant has given me almost a top up to get me to where I was prior to covid so we can manage it effectively again. I have absolutely zero pain and tension from grinding and clenching though and that for me is huge because I could grind my jaw so much it would partially dislocate. I don’t have hollow cheeks and I’m not getting a pouch, although I do have dimples that I hate.
I’ve watched you’re previous techniques videos quite a few times and definitely would like an updated version.
