So pretty! One suggestion to always use a 10 maybe 20 volume developer when depositing color 30 and 40 is for lifting color for bleach the higher the number the more damage it does to you’re hair so you don’t want to damage it when not needed!🙂
yea you purchase the developer seperatly when you buy proffesional grade hair color. the stuff you get at drug stores in the box is alot harsher on your hair but omes with the complete kit.
hiii this looks amazing!!! literally gonna use this exact routine 😭 i had a few questions!! did you use all the hair dye in each bottles or just a selected amount? and the same with the developer! how much did you use? also did you do your roots right after you finished your sections or did you wait a certain amount of time before applying?
I wonder what this would look like on bright blonde highlights and dark blonde roots. Like how would that process go instead? Only use volume developer on just the roots?
I'm going to buy the same colors as u. Don't worry this blue and turquoise is just a wig that I colored! My real hair was colored black, but I just remove that black out of my hair. I did it a camel color, but I like the red better. The cool thing is my color is a level 7, so I won't have to remove any color I could just put this on top. Already know that color doesn't lift. colo,r but if it's the same level it should be okay.
wow! ❤️ this looks so pretty! if we wanted it a bit darker do you recommend skipping the light copper blonde and just doing the dark red blonde and the medium copper blonde?
My hair color is just about the same as urs before u dyed it. If i use a 20 volume does anyone know if it will take this color. Or will it get darker??
i'm no hair stylist, but honestly if the product has bleach in it (the hi color l'oréal and the one in this video does) then i would do roots last bc hot roots is a thing lol. but if it's a different product that is just color but not bleach (like my most recent youtube short ) i don't think it matters as much and i did roots first (since color doesn't lift color).
Does anyone know if I can cover up a dyed 6.4 with any colours to achieve a beautiful auburn copper? My hairstylist (not going back) messed up, I was natural 7 with bleached ends before 😭
i used the entire tube of each color but had too much leftover- so if anything just measure (like with one of those small measuring cups) and follow directions on the product for how much developer
@audreynicole2245 yeah if your base is dark it’s probably gonna be harder to get this color. I’m gonna try it and see how it comes out. But I already lighten my hair 3 shades for this to work.
what color is this? I'm looking for the right copper/orange color. I can't seem to find the right one that I like. Sometimes the color on the box is way off. my hair is blonde
@@karlalilisc6208 hi karla, so by the time i was done with the ends, 30 mins or so passed (so it didn't 'sit' per say, but that's how long passed until i got into the roots right after!). once the roots were done, i let it sit for the whole time that was stated on the box! so probably around 40-45 mins?
@@dreeagmusic So after you did roots you waited another 40-45 min or did you start the time from the moment you began? THANK YOU!! Going to try this on my momma 🥰
@@isabelvargas7392 I used all three bottles of the hair dye and just followed the boxes instructions on how much developer to use (I think it was a 1:1 ratio so if the dye was 6 oz total, I used 6 oz of developer).
SHUT UP!!!! I am so flattered u are so pretty and the hair looks so good 💗
🥹🥹, you tooooo. ❤️thank you.
Do you HAVE to do the roots last or can you do an all over application? I use the 6R currently and just do it all over and get good results
head turning stunning new colour-looks great
I’m definitely becoming a new victim of this experiment that color is gorgeous
Gorgeous, wow that looks so good on you 😍
Looks gorgeous!! I’ll try it 💖
Looks beautiful 😍❤️
thank you for showing the application process! I needed more of a guide since im doing it alone for the first time 😰 this came out so good 😍🔥
thank you so much!:)
Love your hair ❤ going to try this when i grt my hair dyed next time ❤
The moment I heard Fireboy I was like yeah this is a sign Imma make my hair red too! You look beautiful!
sooo cute~thankyou~~
love it
This suits you sooo well and has anyone ever told you that you look like Alexa Pena-Vega? 😍
thanks:) no i've never gotten that but she's literally stunning, thank you!!!

YESSS agreed! I did that when I recolored it 6 ish weeks after this video :) thanks for looking out.
Actually 30 is great for dark roots :D
@@dreeagmusic hello! What developer did you use then?
@@dreeagmusic oh and does that mean that the developer is not included in the box dye? Did you have to buy it separately?

i used all the dye from each bottle!
for the developer, i used whatever the ratio on the back of each bottle said!
I did the roots right after! :)

Can I do this over my existing highlights? I had gotten a full head of highlights in the red/coppery color but it’s faded now

I could see that working really well if you wanted it darker and maybe less coppery:)
My hair color is just about the same as urs before u dyed it. If i use a 20 volume does anyone know if it will take this color. Or will it get darker??

If you have ash blond hair now, would you say do the roots last? Looks aaamaaazing by the way 🥰

How long does this last you?
Did you use the whole bottle of hair dye ? It looks amazing 😻
yes!!! :) thank you
What shade of copper
Does anyone know if I can cover up a dyed 6.4 with any colours to achieve a beautiful auburn copper?
My hairstylist (not going back) messed up, I was natural 7 with bleached ends before 😭
You can use a color remover
30 vol on the ends was just causing damage I recommend 10 next time and 20 on roots color doesn't lift color
did you do a 2:1 developer to color combo or even parts developer and color?
I just followed the directions on the box! I can't recall what this brand's instructions stated.
Did you use the same amount of each color or did you add a lot of one color and a little of another? :)
same amount of each color!!!
Did you use the entire tube of each color ? How did you balance that with how much developer to put ?
i used the entire tube of each color but had too much leftover- so if anything just measure (like with one of those small measuring cups) and follow directions on the product for how much developer
This is so pretty!! I did these exact colors and mine came out SUPER dark 😢
aww! i wonder if your base / natural color just lifts with more difficulty or maybe our starting points weren't the same?
@audreynicole2245 yeah if your base is dark it’s probably gonna be harder to get this color. I’m gonna try it and see how it comes out. But I already lighten my hair 3 shades for this to work.
Did you use 30vol developer? My hair always pulls super dark too so I’m hoping to avoid this prob lol

look at 0:07
I like annabelle coopers tutorial too for a more orange color (over having a more red color like in this vid)
did u use the full amount of each color ?
yes ! i used an equal amount of each color
How old was that outgrow? Thank you! :)
Oof, probably around 2.5 months !!!
Did you shampoo or condition the hair?
no shampoo or conditioner, i just rinsed it out really well until the water ran mostly clear
@@dreeagmusic thanks💕
How long did you let the dye sit on your ends before going in on your roots?
hmm.. i'm not sure. maybe like 30 mins

You didn't use bleach to lift your root color?
i did not- but this product has a bleach / lightener component within the dye!! (not just color depositor). so it naturally will lift some

Ion Color Brilliance! From Sally's
