I don’t think it really has to do with there not being enough Gundam fans. The game failed to capitalize on it’s hype and ended up just being forgotten about by most people. It had a lot of potential but also a fair share of issues. Honestly wish the game got better support than it did.
It definitely wasnt due to a lack of gundam fans, the game launched with a 55k player peak with likely more in Japan. Most players stopped playing due to the server issues on launch, but it was put in the grave due to its monetization.

I literally couldnt play this game without making a US account, the region locking was a disaster lmao, like I can play 99% of games but EVO decided to have limited servers.
I'm gonna miss this game regardless of its issues that have largely been fixed. Servers seem so much more stable as of late. Here's hoping the efforts of getting private servers up and running end up successful.
The one that got me was the HEAVYARMS reveal. The first Teaser trailer used the comercial dialogue of the original TOONAMI COMERCIAL OF GUNDAM WING!!! I loved it! I’m going to miss this game…… till then, I’ll enjoy this last month of it!
It is sad to see that this game could’ve absolutely survived if it had released in any other time Seeing what Bandai has planned for the gundam franchise it is clear to see that they’re going as hard as humanly possible to monetize every bit of the franchise, with gundam nfts and the 100 million gundam metaverse project and gundam evolution was a sad aftermath of their greed as it’s clear the game suffered greatly from business meddling which didn’t give the time or money for the devs expand the range of the game so it could stand out on its own It’s clear the developers loved the franchise and tried their hardest to make a good game but they clear had people breathing behind their backs when the game didn’t get the numbers they expected

I just want five or ten full length feature films made using this same animation. They can re-tell the stories. They've already done an outstanding job with The Origin and Doan's Island. But this, this is the future we need right now.
There was a series of short anthology films a long while back under the title "Gundam EVOLVE" that used CGI animation. The subject matter varied anywhere between "A small incident within the work's setting", "a semi-canon elaboration on a 'what if' concept" all the way up to "An entirely new battle with new suits". It starts out with a condensed summary of Mobile Suit Gundam, as is customary, but it's done as a personal reflection from Amuro before he sorties to fight Char in the Zeong. And from there you get stuff like an alternate ending to a battle from CCA, a little incidental piece from G Gundam, a military drama/horror film about a squad's RB-79 Ball pilot, and even a focus short bridging together the main SD Gundam Force show with one of its spinoff manga. The range it covers is about as wide as Evolution would've tried to with its roster.

I honestly really love the Origin's combo of 3d and 2d, it's pretty tasteful compared to a lot of other anime that try to do the same
