i've never played a golf game with a mouse in my life before last night and when i tried this very same map in golf it after I bought it...it really wasn't that hard. It wasn't hard to get used to, it wasn't hard to get a few hole in ones, it wasn't hard to be a little patient and take your shot so my conclusion which is pretty common sense anyway is that they all make it out to be hard for dramatic effect because it's 'entertaining'
