What is the Europe Best Sniper Team Competition?
Best Sniper Squad LogoThe annual four-day competition, with approximately 30 events, tests multinational sniper squads on land navigation, advanced marksmanship, medical simulations and more.
There are 36 sniper teams from 19 nations competing in the U.S. Army Europe-directed, Europe Best Sniper Team Competition held at the 7th Army Training Command's Grafenwoehr Training Area in Bavaria, Germany, from July 28-Aug. 2, 2018.

This competition in 2018 Sweden won with the team from F17, in 2019 the 13 DBLE of the French Foreign Legion won the competition. I have proudly served both in the Swedish armed forces and the French foreign legion, the best of two world.

I went through the tests for service in the Swedish military a month ago. I will start as an air base security soldier (flygbassäkerhetsoldat) on F17 in september. I can't wait.

@@AndyWoohoo666 Thanks dude! I have waited for this for years. Finally I'm 18 and able to do it. The recruitment wasn't easy though, because of covid-19 they cancelled my applications several times but finally they accepted. I hope that more people in Sweden will do military service, it's important.

Absolutely, makes me glad to hear this! I got in the military in 1981 left in 1988 and went down to France and joined the legion, after 5 years there I came back to Sweden and joined up again....still in and I guess I'm what they call a "lifer".
Some of us see the importance of protecting and defending our country and that with all good things that this country gives us there are also obligations and that is something the younger generations totally forgot. Most of them just want want and want but forget that they also have to give.
So I'm proud of you and all the others that are willing to put in for the country because the world is very unsafe and Sweden have a very dangerous neighbor.

@@AndyWoohoo666 Yeah, I don't think people my age realize that they need to commit themselves to keep Sweden safe and independent. Sadly, I think there will be more wars and crisis in the future because of climate change, disease and poverty etc. We need to be ready for it.
The french foreign legion seems interesting. What regiment are you working at now btw?
