I used to sleep in a tent in my house yard after stargazing when I was in middle school until the security of our neighbourhood asked me to not do it again because he said there was some cases of a stranger would break in houses and he was worried of my safety. That sure scared me 😱
But later on I would just lay down on the porch for the stargazing and went into the house after 30 minutes or so lol. Sadly when I went to high school it became harder to see the stars

@@chickennuggets4387 aokigahara is also known as the suicide Forrest. From what I know, if you go off the trails there is a possibility you might find a body. Some people also say the spirits get into your head and you start to hallucinate or get lost.

There is this video online where these two girls in Japan were being followed by a man. They found a American tourist (he was streaming that’s why there’s a video) and they were laughing and acting like they knew him. But in English they were telling the American that they were being followed by the creepy man , who he could see standing behind him he understood and played along with the girls and acted like old friends which made the man walk away.

Creeps and stalkers are really a problem here in Japan. My family is very cautious and always advice my sister (who's quite pretty) to not let her guard down. And yet, I once saw a man approaching her, probably thinking she was alone, but as soon as he saw me, he changed directions. She was dressed like an Eskimo, so there was nothing about her appearance that men would fantasize, and yet the man was approaching her!
If any female here ever come to Japan, be careful and avoid walking alone when it's dark.

Actually the forest isn’t only famous as suicide forest,it’s also favorite place for tour destination and school trip (if you follow the main track ofc). Inside of the forest you can find a beautiful ice cave called Narusawa Hyoketsu

There’s a real stalking crisis in Japan going on currently.
I’ve seen articles of tourists who’ve gone there (mainly young women) say that they’ve been exploring the cities as usual and going about their business but they’ve had people (mainly men) following them. It’s not just tourists though, the stalking problem affects everyone and yet it’s still a major issue despite authorities trying to give better protection to victims

i understand how people could be friendly and you have to be friendly back. I used to go to a school that was in this small city and everyone was friendly and it made me uncomfortable because the neighborhood is known for violence and if I rejected their greetings things will turn sour, even the homeless people were persistent even when they got rejected for money. Even on the bus people talk loud and join in conversations and a couple times they talk to me which i didn't like and kept trying to talk to me even though i was listening to music loudly which this guy asked how old I am...
please be safe out there, you can never be too careful. especially with the things happening lately

I have a story
One day when I was walking home a man started following me every turn I took he took I was close to my house I could see it and I looked behind me and he was running at me he put his arm on me and said his name was jay I’m your dads friend he said your dads at my house so I said no I have a key then I walked home but he was outside staring at me then my dad came home and I asked who jay was he didn’t know next day I was at the park and then I saw him I was walking home again and the man grabbed me outside my house and tried dragging me away but I kicked him and luckily my dad got home ran up to the man and with one punch knocked him straight out cold and I called the police and he was taken for the death sentence because he was wanted for kidnapping and killing over 10 boys and girls after that I moved to England and always looked over my shoulder
I actually cried out of happiness in this one because of Yuki! ❤️

I told my mom that somebody was following me when I was a kid and she said “I hope you weren’t stupid enough to show him where we live” then when I told the officer at school and he called home she said “why the f**k are you talking to older guys? Do you know how stupid you are leading these people on?” Even when I was a little kid anytime this dude popped up she blamed me when I was as young as 6 I was “leading guy on” nothing stopped until I told a police officer at school... I mean I guess I’m just trying to say she’s really lucky her dad wasn’t mad at her.... and I know these sob stories are super annoying so sorry about that bit I guess

MerMer well I was a stupid kid. Some guy smiles at me a couple times and we all said hi a lot so I thought they knew each other and a couple times he asked me personal stuff like how old I am and when my birthday is... just normal kind of stuff. When I told her what happened she said I was flirting with him by telling him all that stuff and I shouldn’t tell people that if I’m not trynna be a whore.... I mean it was just really dumb honestly. Even now she doesn’t acknowledge what happened to me but I can’t really change how she thinks. I think she’s in some sort of denial or something though idek

Exactly. I've never heard of school trips to such an infamous suicide location
They actually do but not into the forest, just at it's surroundings because, aside from being known as the infamous suicide forest it's also one of the most important cultural places in Japan. To enter the forest you need permission and a guide from there and they just walk through certain areas :)
Lesson I learned:

It's in Japan, a country that has one of the highest suicide rates in the world, and a lot of people kill themselves in forests all throughout Japan. How much do you want to bet Yuki's brother killed himself in that forest? It's sad, but maybe Lucy made that place a place of hope again. Maybe two people were saved that day.

Kinda reminds me of what happened at the elementary school I went to. This guy was keeping track of a kid who always walked home alone and one day he put on a mask and a attempted to kidnap him. Thankfully the kid got out of his arms and ran home. And I still hate the fact that the man hasn’t been arrested yet

This is why you have to explain to your preteens and kids why it’s important not to talk to strangers and let your parents know if anyone random did try to talk to you. Always follow that gut feeling!

Once a man grabbed by the hand on the street and pulled me away onto the alley then someone stop him and he said I’m his teacher we’re on a school trip he’s just got lost and he opened his car door then tried to push me in the car door and I put his arm in the door and slammed it then screamed and when I say screamed I mean screamed and ten people look down the alley and 2 large men ran down the street and the guy ran one men holed me and the other ran to get him but he said he got away the police were called so were my parents and his ID was in the car and the police found him he was caught with child endangerment and assault and animal abuse in different country’s

For the people wondering why would someone take kids into the "Suicide Forest": the Aokigahara forest, aside from being known as the infamous suicide forest, it is also one of the most important/known cultural places in Japan for its history and beauty. Some schools do organize trips there but they do not go into the forest, they just walk at the surroundings. To get into the forest you need permission and a guide (mostly one of the forest keepers) and you are walked only through certain areas. 🇯🇵😊
