I found a little trick to try and keep the heat off the player when fighting the high level Pals like Jetdragon. I found if I despawn and resummon my pal he reagros back to my pal. I did this quite effectively with the level 50 Frostalion legendary. It worked on JetDragon too though he seemed to re-agro to me more quickly then the other so I suppose how effective it is might depend on the pal you use and the pal you are fighting against. Note this is really only effective if you don't plan on attacking the target yourself else it may cause them to aggro on to you more often. Since it was lvl 50 JetDragon and I'm still level 42 and didn't have much ammo in my guns I had to let my Pals do all the work. I noticed with JetDragon when I tried to use the same level 50 Frostalion he would re-agro on me more often. So I used a flying pal (one of the tower bosses I caught with a glitch as a backup. I forget which one it was. It was the one that had mostly fire attacks though so not as effective as the ice lengendary I had wanted to use) instead and he stayed on it longer. In the end i ran out of balls and had to kill him. Though I did get the legendary rocket locker schematic first try so I suppose I didn't entirely waste my time. I did find in interesting bug though. During the late stages of the fight with him I got a bit too far from his spawn area and he de-agroed completely and the boss music stopped. My pal was still out so I let it follow him back. As I got back to him he re-agro'd to my pal but never tried to attack me again even after I started throwing balls at him. He would just attack my pal instead. So I had to keep the pal out and not shoot him and it appeared he wouldn't attack me again. So that might be one way. I think in my case that was only effective because I had used one of my caught tower bosses which are probably the only thing you could keep out on him for a extended period of time. :P EDIT: Finally caught JetDragon today. The de-agro by getting far from his spawn area is kinda finicky. Took 3 tries before he finally decided to ignore me and only fight my pal. :P
That is interesting, I have heard of the crouch method where the bosses won’t attack if u crouch under them haven’t tried it so I can’t really confirm it. The method you have is promising but needs the tower bosses I tried it with my regular pals and they only took 1 or 2 hits lol. But I do like the thinking outside the box to figure it out good start
@@Lordchar1892 The de-agro thing with pal swapping might be practical but yeah the de-agro bug with leaving the spawn area and coming back is probably not practical unless you are very overleveled (or using glitch pals like the tower bosses) and then there wouldn't really be a point to doing it. As for the crouching thing...I tried it for a few seconds on JetDragon and noped the ***k out immediately. It didn't seem to work for me. Maybe there's a trick to it but I'm not gonna waste time getting killed and losing resources trying that one. :P
@@MagnumForce51 yes that only confirmed method for early kill would be luring off the edge then capture or luring on a skybridge and destroying the bridge
