Hello a great job, I'm a little confused I've seen videos where they put a processor "E5 2696 v2" and you and others that I've seen place E5 2697 v2 which would be the right one for my Apple Mac Pro ME253LL/A 4-Core Xeon E5-1620v2 3.7 12GB 256GB (Late-2013) MG7251 "AMC 2630" thanks
I am not totally sure it would work. My rule was to use the same cpu as apple shipped it back in 2013. Probably it would work with similar cpu if other people managed to do that. I only tried the one in the video because I was sure it would work.
@@ShadesOfTech so I know this is a good machine back then but if you maxed out the RAM to 128 GB and expand the SSD to 2TB and dual AMD FirePro D700 would you say if I were to save money would this last longer by these maxed out configurations ?

This is a very specific question. There are definitely some scaled resolution. If you want to see all of them you just need to press alt and then click on scaled and you will see all the scaled resolutions, even the ones not optimised. Gulp. Got all the way to the inside, but then the final four internal screws holding the CPU have solid caps! No Torque screw hole in them! What the heck! Has anyone seen this? And if so, how the heck do you remove those?

Then, just unscrew as normal. A couple more notes: new Mac Pro 2013's started shipping with these CPU screw stickers some time in 2015, and if you take an older Mac Pro 2013 in for repair, Apple will quietly add the stickers if, during the repair process, they end up stripping the computer down to the CPU bracket.
