This is way better than the new one! It encapsulates our culture, our natural resources and our people. Bakit kelangan pa bago bago?! Other countries have used the same slogans for many years. Successful ang tourism nila. If ain't broken, don't fix it!

After living in the Philippines (Cebu City) for 2 1/2 years and loving it, I'm going back. I returned to the US long enough to learn a new career, and now I'm ready to return and pick up where I left off with someone very special waiting for me. It really is more fun in the Philippines. I love the people, the culture, the food, the weather and the beautiful landscape of the country.

I have to say that my trip to the Philippines last year was fantastic! What makes it more fantastic and amazing is the people. They are all so welcoming and always smiling. And what amaze me more is that the Jeepney driver is so articulate in speaking the english language. Aside from that i would say that the Philippines is Asia's very own Carribean Islands way better than in Thailand, Bali, or even in Malaysia. We will definitely coming back to this beautiful paradise. I love you Filipinas!

There is a saying, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." This AVP of It's more FUN in the Philippines was well thought of. It's engaging. Why can't we just keep this and upgrade it. Put a spin on it. Make it more "historical" meaning: what are the other places in the Philippines that would provide a "fun"? Maybe the next AVP or series of AVP that will show iconic food stops, shows of It's Showtime or Eat Bulaga, etc.

This video made me genuinely laugh and smile. I'm a Canadian, and I think the Philippines is a wonderful country. All countries go through rough times, and Philippines is no different. Despite that, the people there are still so happy and optimistic. Every Filipino/Filipina I've met is super nice and friendly and never fails to make me smile. I really want to visit the Philippines again now!

Yung makikita mong kalokohan ng ibang tao sa tabi ng daan, or kapag may outing kayo ng family mo tas makikita mo yung ibang mga kotse, highway, yung layo ng dinarating nyo kahit byahe palang nakakarelax na.

Hi Joey, I came to the Philippines in 1988. After living in Kalibo, Aklan for 2 years, I married a Filipina. Two years later we moved to Canada (my country of origin) & spent 3 years there, but then we came back to the Philippines in 1995 & have been here ever since. We've lived in Davao City since 1996. Although I'm a Canadian, my heart is that of a Filipino. I believe there is much for you to be proud of in your nation. Mabuhay!

As an ofw living in France, whenever someone tells me that they know nothing about the Philippines and have never been there, I just show them this video. It was a very effective campaign. I don't understand why they had to change it. Also, I cannot show foreigners the new video they made, apart from the stock footage showing other countries, it does not tell a story. This video on the other hand summarizes the attractions, culture, food and history of the Philippines in a short but entertaining way. This video is an excellent sneak peek of our country. Too bad nagpaepal ang mga taga DOT. Don't fix it when it's not broken!

I'm delighted to see that Philippines' progress is so fast. Interms of services industry & BPO it's now improving as compared in the past. Having a great human resources is the key to our success. But I hope that the govt will also provide development assistance to our farmers as I have high hopes that the agriculture would not only be the source of growth for our country but would also exceed the demand of other country esp the export industry. Aside from this, the thriving manufacturing industry will also give employment to many. May the private sector also support the small & medium scale businesses/entrepreneurs. New literacy programs, political reforms and good governance are some of the positive strenghts that i look forward among others. However, in order to have a well connected & collaborated business between the urban & rural areas where the industrial parks and agri-business & fisheries are, the infrastructure should be modernized by our govt in cooperation with our brilliant architects, engrs. LGU's & angencies and constructors. These things are essential part of our progress in the global market.

DepEd too. Our PNP and AFP! Even DPWH, look at our roads now and many are still on going. I want to praise them. I want to praise our current president. They hardly receive it. Sad to say people do not often appreciate. I want this progress to continue. Let us all pray for the Philippines.

Don't be culture shock, do some research too. Philippines is an awesome place.
I'm from Cebu, you can visit there too if you want for island hopping and beaches. Boracay is too crowded but noone will stop u to go there.. All I can advised is just be optimistic..
