Back with a brand new bass cover!
One of my favourite live versions from my favourite live band of all time, D’angelo and the Soultronics. This band had so much talent and groove it’s ridiculous. Pino Palladino on bass, Questlove on drums, Anthony Hamilton on backing vocals, just to name a few. Although Pino’s groove and pocket might be almost impossible to equal, it’s one of those tracks that I always love to play. Hope you guys enjoy!

I’m using my lovely 1976 Fender Jazz Bass in this video. Sound was recorded from the bass straight through an Avid Mbox into my MacBook Pro. Video was shot as a one taker on a RED Scarlet Dragon. Camera and lighting work by Bas Goossens and Mitchell Wever. Editing and color grading by Bas Goossens.
