Surah Al-Adiyat is a reminder to mankind of their ingratitude to Allah. The surah begins by describing horses that are charging forward, snorting and panting. These horses are a metaphor for mankind, who are constantly striving for material possessions. However, despite all of their efforts, mankind will still be ungrateful to Allah on the Day of Judgment.
The surah then goes on to describe the Day of Judgment, when all of mankind will stand before Allah. On that day, everyone will be judged for their deeds, and those who have been ungrateful to Allah will be punished.
Surah Al-Adiyat is a warning to mankind to be grateful to Allah and to avoid accumulating wealth for its own sake. Instead, we should use our wealth to help others and to worship Allah.
