You can see at 6:58 he has his eyes trained on his opponents swing motion and then tracks the shuttle which is something I didn't do for a long time, and it has helped me time my movements way better. During professional match it is disadvantage to aplaud to your opponent not because you are arogant just simply not giving psychological advantage over you. Although many times everybody would like somewhere deep inside to give credit for some shots.

Viktor has been on danish "late night show" several times and he has a lot of humor and is really "down to earth" :)

Young player don't have avantage over older like before. That's why we don't see 20 year player pushing the reigning champions. Maybe we are seeing that in badminton too. Younger player just can't push older player. Old player with their experience, physical strenght, calm, poise just outclass stamina from young player. But maybe training ability just improve. But question remains why young player just can't outclass old one. In basketball, Hockey, young phenom come in and they are as good if not better that their big brothers.
Viktor has mastered all badminton techniques for sure! He only needs to make his movements and techniques look beautiful and smooth like LCW and LD now. Even Chen Long doesn't have beautiful footwork like LD when he moves.
In my opinion, Axelsen will be the most powerful shuttler that only Chen Long can resist. With his advantage due to his height, very strong backhand and powerful smash.
Correct me if I'm wrong, for backhand net kills aren't you supposed to utilize most of your power from the wrist and circulation of the arm, not the thumb? Thanks.
