Just got to love that Bamba Bass Series !
Man, that bluegill feeding time looks like a pack of piranhas coming out from the dock to get the pellets.
And it's interesting that they are obviously responding to the noise (or vibrations) of the feeder as it warms up rather than to the food itself, because the pack appears before any pellets hit the water.
i love the idea of a small pond for bait , maybe you can try to add some kind of transparent side to it to see the wildlife
I would love to see more projects surrounding the pond like the farming area / home etc! Thanks for all the videos this year - I’m from the UK and it always makes my Monday morning that more tolerable watching these videos!
I think you should make a rock pile out deep, winter bass love rock piles in the winter

It's so nice to see the fish underwater! Some of those bass are getting to be big submarines. They seem very happy and healthy, swimming around with the bluegills.

When I was a young boy ,my.Daddy loved to crappie fish .His bait of choice was a Tuffy minnow,,they would live forever in a bucket an were hard to knock off your hook..Haven't been able to find them in over 20yrs. Love the series. SEMPER FI

The small duck on the right @1:31 is a female Bufflehead. The brownish colored bird on the left @5:15 is a female Hooded Merganser. Enjoy

also, the hen duck with Romeo the Mallard @4:31 is a Green-winged Teal
@@nicholaslund679 That actually appears to be a drake blue wing teal out of plume with his colors starting to come in. You can see the blue on the secondaries and the mottling of the chest coming in.
The Hen hooded merganser is a fish eating duck. Just FYI

the bluegills are nuts. its crazy watching them anticipate the pellets being shot out! they are like an outfielder in baseball or softball tracking a fly ball down in the gap. haha

Can’t wait to watch you build the new bait pond, I’m guessing your bait pond will be freshwater shrimp whatever you do will be awesome more cool cabins around your pond to rent short term would be fun hope that eagle does not eat too many of your fish anything you post is great, I think maybe two videos a week wouldn’t hurt my feelings as I look forward to them every week
I'm thinking more of freshwater prawns, any that get too big for fish food could go on the grill. Your Aussie viewers would call them 'shrimp on the barbie'.

The box (tube) would be on top of the water. Held by the pole. Most safe way for ducklings.

Romeo has had a few girlfriends. First a Bufflehead, then a Blue-Wing Teal and now a Hooded Merganser! Before you release your farm Mallards to the pond, you should put a Bama Bass leg band on them, in case they every learn to fly and migrate!

I think you need a pavilion with picnic tables and possibly a fireplace or fire pit.

where I live , you can find mussels in the mud along the edges of river and lakes. the are filter feeders , if you go out and collect some and put them in your pond they will clear the water for you .

We live on an extremely large pond, there are only ten houses with access to it and ours has the best access. There is this magnificent bald eagle that comes around and I have to put my chickens away in the tractor. But we also have two Pekin ducks but they are so large I don't think the eagle will go for them. We can see turtles, beavers, egrets, herons, it's amazing the wildlife. My husband and I love your videos! God bless

Also idk how much slope you have to work with on the property, but it would be awesome to see a waterfall added similar to your backyard pond!

Add a wetland/bog section to the pond. Then connect it with a flowing creek like system.
You guys should keep some bees out there and make a wildflower grove!!! It would support all the life around the pond attracting insects that both frogs and the fish could eat!!

I’ve really enjoyed watching the pond mature and the fish in it as well. Very interesting for sure and way beyond my expectations. You must own a bank because this is not an inexpensive venture, I’d like to learn more about how you intend to introduce trout into your bait pond. I’m a big fly fishing guy up in the north east part of the country. Love catching those big boys. So thank you and I will continue to look forward to your next adventure. Be well.

I’ve been watching since before the pond build and happy I found your channel. What about an RC BASS that would be pretty cool if you can find one or even a RC FISH period. Would love to see the rc fish school up and watch the other fish.

that is a Awesome pond and the wildlife is so cool, i have a remote control mallard duck i use to pull my fish finder ball around when fishing small ponds nearby but Wow i'm jealous i'd love to have a pond set up like that in my yard .anxious to see more videos

Thinking about adding Calico Crayfish (Papershell)? I don’t believe they burrow as often, especially if the stream/pond doesn’t dry up.
You should check on shocking the pond before doing it. I would wonder if it would create an electromagnetic pulse that would destroy the tags on the tagged fish?
Another great pond video. To help fill in names for big crappie if you can tell female be Medusa and male be Hercules and Chungus . For bass Nero, big gulp, and Johnny b. Bass.

Structure is very important when there isn't much. Have there been any studies done on structures that we could build at home and introduce to a body of water?
Project, reverse fish tank. Where the tank is above the pond, but full of water so that some fish may rise up and appear in it.
Been watching your stuff for years and been giving ideas and asking questions and everything for when I get my own but you haven’t responded or answered one in 3+ years but I still love watching your videos just wish you’ll actually respond to the loyal watchers lmao
Making a smaller bait pond to grow spindly freshwater prawn and other baitfish is such a smart move! And will save you a ton of money in the long run!!!
