I can't find this opacity feature in S8!! Plese help me. I also went to settngs - multotasking etc. But I am helpless!! I also called the customer care & service center and nobody even know this feature.

@@aimupsc972 I Don't find it anymore, when I saw it in Samsung store that had software version 3.0 it had, with 4.0 it does not exist....
I wish galaxy store can have a seperate portion for samsung dex and samsung partner up with Microsoft to bring alot of popular pc productivity apps to samsung dex

Please tell how much screen on time you get on tab s8 plus you using
I have the Ultra, I easily get 3-4 hours of use from full charge. This depends on if you turn the brightness down and if you are watching videos it drains faster vs scrolling text. But the battery life is better than any other tablet I have owned. At 70% brightness I have used it 2hours of reading and have 60% battery left. Its also brighter than other tablets I have owned so even at 50% its still comfortable where my lenovo was hard to see at 50%. If you will be outdoors for long periods of time a portable battery pack may be needed to charge it.

@@aminesedkaoui1163 Yes it has an onscreen floating keyboard. You can change the size and move it around. I highly recommend the keyboard cover though, if you can get it you should, because it protects the back and screen of the tablet when not in use. The tablet itself is very thin and the edges aren't comfortable to hold for long periods of time. The S-pen charges on the back of the tablet but the cover has a space to put it inside so it can't get knocked off. If you do any type of drawing, handwriting, or need precision the pen is well worth the money. If the price is too much new, I bought one off Ebay for about 70% of the new price. And if you buy off ebay and don't like it you can list it and sell it to get your money back if you bought it used. The price is not cheap, but its holding steady in the used market so its not going to be hard to get what you paid.
I do have one word about the keyboard cover, its not great if you are working on your lap. The magnets to hold it into the keyboard connection could be a lot better. I put a piece of tape so its more stable. But the cover where it sticks to the back of the tablet doesn't come off easy, just the keyboard slot.
@@aminesedkaoui1163 Overall, its still just an Android tablet so it can do almost anything an Android phone can do, plus some things a phone can't. DEX is a secondary mode for opening and running more than one app at a time. Its great for researching in one app while writing in another.
Anytime you click a space you can write in, a keyboard will pop up if you don't have the keyboard cover plugged in.
Almost forgot, the keyboard gets its power from the tablet so you don't have to charge it separately. The S pen had a magnet that sticks to the back of the tablet and charges wirelessly also. If you are a serious artist get at least two S-pens, so one can charge while you use the other.

Unfortunately desktop friendly apps om mobile device behave exactly the same on samsung dex besides being interfaced. Samsung dex is blot up android it doesn't bring much software funtionality to make it close enough to a laptop replacement. They can start buy expanding the multitasking and allowing us upto 4 apps on split screen and the way we want not just being forced to have them all equal size and on samsung dex u have to resize each manually like if I want 1 app to be smaller and the rest of them to be bigger I have to manually resize all individually.
