Hello, this looks delicious! Before I make it, in the written recipe it says a 9" square pan, but in the video it is rectangular. Can you clarify please. Thanks!
Hi, In the video I used rectangular can pan with sizes that are not really common in many countries. So the best size pan is a 9-inch square pan or a similar size (a bit bigger).
@TheCookingFoodie I promised to let u know how it came out. Amazing and delicious. It took me forever to make my own pistachio paste but it was worth it in the end. I also had to make my own buttermilk, but that only took a few mins. Thank u for this 💚 wish i could show u the pics of how lovely it came out
You can see here the method I how I make it: ruclips.net/video/RaTe_4FAWHE/видео.htmlsi=ZmXPM7BZM_GAsqBb But you also can use store bought Pistachio paste.
I'm making this tomorrow. I have 2 questions that I hope can get answered by then. 1. From start to finish before you put it in the refrigerator, how long does it take to make? 2. Is refrigerating it for 3 hours absolutely necessary? 3. Could it maybe only be in there for 1 hour or maybe 90 minutes? What happens if it's not refrigerated for 3 hours before you eat it?
What an utter waste - slicing the top and sides of the traybake off and not using them! It's meant to be 'home baking' so you should have just spread the lovely frosting on the top (all the way to the sides) and cut it into squares - it would have tasted just as good, and no wasted cake.
Wow, this dessert looks absolutely divine! I love how you've managed to make something so indulgent and decadent seem so easy to make. 😋😋👌

People who complained about the edges being trimmed off. Bakers usually keep the trimmed excess parts in the freezer for later use.
Or, the chef gets to eat it alone to enjoy their hard work and masterpiece 😋🤭😂

Only for the video.. he actualy didn’t throw the cake
Easy, he ate the scraps for sure 😉
Dont know why but Looks super dry
I hope you ate those edges you trimmed off
Of course 😂
I wouldn’t cutoff top or edges, what a waste.
Wy not make some extra cookies from those cut-offs?
He did say it’s optional
Once again the size of the baking tin is not mentioned!
Yes, it is. In the description 😊
