This machine has the features of the VARIAXIS series of simultaneous 5-axis vertical machining center and is capable of high-speed, high-accuracy machining of complex components. The machine is equipped with an auto work changer (AWC), an automation system suitable for high-mix, low-volume production, and a space-saving magazine, enabling continuous machining.
A wide range of spindle specifications are optionally available, from high-torque spindles for heavy-duty cutting suitable for difficult-to-cut materials, copper and castings, to spindles for high-speed cutting of aluminium, which is required for precision parts and aircraft parts.
Additionally, the Smooth AWC software, which enables setup management and scheduled operation, is standard equipment, supporting the customer's high-mix, low-volume production.
