Very interesting technique. Thank you for the in depth and practical advice. I’ll give it a shot and let you know how the results are. I’m one of those nasty elbow pickers :-( and I’ve got to turn it around
Yes you must! But the thing is elbow works very well for a while. Right up until the point where you get severe elbow pain and can't do it anymore. Best not to even start =\
do you have a video of the intro riff? or something similar. I figured out the notes but, I would like to see you're picking technique with the string switching. Thanks you're awesome!
Hello, I no longer use this "Forearm Rotational" method as I have switched to "Wrist Yaw". So, carrying on this series wouldn't make sense. I would have to start again. If you want to learn all about this and discuss with me and the others, please join my discord =) the link is along the navbar of my site alfredpotter.com
I don't pick like this anymore so I discontinued the series. This is the forearm rotational technique like how Chris Brooks plays. I use the side-to-side wrist technique nowadays.
thanks! finally a good teacher on youtube with no bullshit

You should run a noise gate over your voice channel. Sounds a thousand times more professional ;)

When you advise not to use wrist strokes, but recommend rest strokes, and pronounce wrist and rest the same…
Hahah, believe me, I abhor this accent which New Zealand has afflicted me with as much as you abhor hearing it
First view👏
=D
