Thank you so much for your helpful playlists and to the point videos, compared to the number of of hours I've spent in lessons leaving thinking "I have no clue what just happened", the short, concise videos are literally a lifesaver and throughout my GCSE's have helped more than any teacher I've had so thank you so much for your help this year!

So, what would a FULL answer for "Explain why more than one force is required to stretch this band" WOULD IT BE: Makes the forces unbalances, causing band to move?
Revision is more relative to a person- Personally I like to watch videos then do past exam questions on the topic I just revised. It all depends on what you prefer!
i also advise you do try questions after a week, because you're obviously going to remember how to answer after you revised, so if you test yourself after a week, youll see if you remembered it or not :)
Yes there are several videos related to Hooke's Law. The expression "Hooke's Law" is not used as it's not the spec but the ideas are there. GCSE Science Physics (9-1) Required Practical 6: Stretching a Spring GCSE Science Physics (9-1) Forces and Elasticity GCSE Science Physics (9-1) Elastic Potential Energy
so if a rubber band, for example, was stretched and it didnt return to its original shape (inelastically deformed) would it not be classified as an elastic material?
Idk if it matters anymore a year later but no, that just means the rubber band was pushed beyond its limit with a very high force, so that does not classify it as an inelastic material, it just tells us the force applied was too high.
My physics teacher said that we wont be given any equation sheet for our GCSE in 2025, (as apparently we havent be affected by covid, so its different). Have any ideas?
Does this not contradict Newton's first law? If the forces on a object are balanced then the object will not move, but to stretch the particles of that object must space themselves out as no mass can be transferred to them by a force? What don't I get here?
newton's first law act mostly on inelastic material. this is a special case for elastic material especially springs. here it not stays stationary but stretches out. since this is a unique characteristic of elastic material
