You are so right, my father had a heart attack last friday and got done with his angioplasty 2 days ago. He is 70 years old mashaALLAH and doctors have completely restricted his activities for 20-30 days and after that they said he can just go out for a walk but not for longer duration. Your suggestions really helped me to re-introduce such indoor activities like carrom, ludo, sequence etc. We the people of Pakistan are blessed to have a vlogger, motivator, mentor like you ❤

Bilkul, i 2nd that. Meri ammi ne retirement lyli thi early. Lekin sirf 1 month k andar andar unhain wehshat hogai, raha nhi gya, in the end, retirement wapis lyli. Isi trah abu ghar me kaam dhoond dhoond k krty thy, sukoon nhi milta. In the end, allah ka shukr, dost k pass job mil gayi, ub busy hain, aur bhot achi health me hain
Have spent my childhood there in ramswami it was my nani ka ghar....still though im 32 years of age now.... but i remember how people sit outside there homes very calmly and plays ludo and all that stuff....i remember taaju hotel....taqqi nihari......there is a tailor shop named ejaz tailor....although junaid bhai it is very nice to see a youtuber who stands out of all our current youtubers and speaks out like the common karachi man.....every time you came up with a revolutionary ideas and guiding people what exactly our basic necessities of life is.....which we people of karachi almost forgot...we actualy forgot how to live a life in all these circumstances which is ongoing in karachi......salute to you.....
Could,nt agree more,We need to engage our elders in our home and our surroundings.This should be taken as a community service and a way to give back to the society.A social startup could be created around the idea of adult day care where elders could interact with with each other during the day

We need more of this type of content and we need to take care of our parents, just like they took care of us when we were kids and couldn't even walk properly they used to give us hand and make sure that we don't fall, and now when they need us and are weak physically and emotionally we should support them and make sure that they never ever feel lonely when they are with us. As there is a loneliness crisis all over the world, we should never leave our parents alone as they are our true assets.
Thank you so much for speaking on this topic. My father used to go on long walks in the neighborhood football ground and meet his friends in the adjacent well-maintained park next to the mosque. But now there is so much encroachment on the footpaths coupled with so much traffic on the streets that it is too risky for anyone his age to do the same. On top of that the park and the ground have been altered in such a way that there is constant fear of getting hit by a ball there. It just feels like we are going one step forward and ten steps backward with time.
Thanks for being so thoughtful. You are most certainly a torch-bearer for spreading a timely and much needed awareness in our society...Thanks again.

It's similar in India. For elderly or handicap, life is boring. Most people would tell you, you cannot walk properly (either due to age or due maybe you lost one or both legs) and you want to see the world. In US, I saw handicap people, old people keeping themselves active and exploring the world. I met a 70 year old couple on trip to Alaska in US, both were on wheelchair but were enjoying the cruise and they came by themselves.
How can you see these aspect of life? you are such a Gem.

You literally discussed what I was feeling after looking at my parents. I was wondering that someone should do something for senior citizen in the community. I wish there should be a such activities specially for elderly that they enjoy and live the life happily but what I have seen is depression all over among them.
Love u bro... My parents are my BFFs I kiss there forehead every morning I m blessed mashAllah.. My mother is still the liveliest person still in her late 60s but she is like stopped ageing after 50 by her heart....

Not just the elders. This can be an issue for some youngsters as well. I had 5 - 6 month vacation. The lack of social clubs, activities and entertainment in general caused severe depression. We definitely need more entertainment options and things to do than what we currently have
