You can't beat good ol' British classic humour. This is brilliant, and well worth watching.
I've watched these numerous times and it still makes me laugh. Absolutely brilliant comedy
Don't know how I missed this. Brilliant, gentle humour, and a helping of pathos plus some great underplayed performances all round. The Best of British. That's Boose 1, so two to go.
With all the crap going on in the world, stumbling across this and remembering that there's a warm silly side of the UK makes today seem a lot brighter. Never seen this and laughed my arse off. Thanks for the uploads!

@@神の一手-x8v Watched all 3 now and they are a pleaser to watch as a English person i cant believe i have never seen them. All great films to watch very funny. Go watch the lost postman thats a good film to watch as well.
I reckon the 'incidental' music is what really makes all three films really great.... but my favourite has to be the last one - The Scattering - because there's no cumbersome teenage angst in that one ... does anyone know the name of the bit part beautiful lady who plays 'the tart' ?

Watched them all 3 times now and loved them. Who else felt hungrey when Dave ordered a slice of that pie please love and chips at 36 mins in.
Remember watching this years ago. Great drama. Very good actors make it. I think Neil Pearson is brilliant and very underrated.

Great to see Ian Richardson. An actor who can effortlessly exhibit utter contempt for his fellow man. Perfect choice for the part.
Yes...he was his superlative best in this I thought..... Comedy was a breeze for him. His put-down of Rob....delivered faultlessly!
With that "utter contempt" that leaves the victim speechless.... and sapped of all the silent rage that Rob was suppressing towards Marcus.
And Ann Reid: Fabulous as always!
As for Brian Murphy.... hilarious with him exposing his "chest" whilst waiting for Grace to return...... Brilliant Brian, Thank you for all the years!
Have you seen The Hogfather? He was so awesome in it. He'll be in costume so he won't be recognizable right away but what a character. LET'S SEE. AH YES. HO. HO. HO. 😉

Brian Murphy is an amazing actor! I like how Moris is kind of similar to George from "George and Mildred" regarding money and expenses

Normally sequels aren't as good as the original but this one is an exception to that rule. I think I almost died laughing, especially the ending.ROTFL!! 😂🤣😂🤣

Book Cruise 1 was so funny - I laughed all the way through it.This film did not flow and the different actors changed it -but it was still watchable
Watching the trio all again in Lockdown, cause there is nothing but doom n gloom on the regualr telly.

I love all 3 episodes never understood the critics sniffiness towards them. I suppose it’s because it represents 95% of Britain outside the M25 woke bubble that is London. Martin Clunes irreplaceable but Ian Richardson a big hitter and was superb.
I don't know how I stumbled across this. I'm so glad I have.

dan Froemmling I think it’s a case of some Americans only like American comedy, some British likes British comedy . I could never get how people thought Friends was funny, my sister in law did but to me it just wasn’t funny. For me classic British comedy over is the best, there is some older American comedy films I like but newer stuff no, but saying that a lot of British newer comedy is poor as well imo.

The Daniel character was switched because the original actor stared in Layer cake 2004 around the same time this was filmed.
They should have stayed with the actors of booze 1 it makes a big big difference 🤓
I really enjoyed the first one and the characters that developed ... & was very disappointed when I started watching this one and saw the cast changes.
Still enjoyed #2 though ... just a shame that the cast changes ruined the continuity a bit.

What happened to the looker who played Robs wife before
Martin Clunes had to leave due to taking Doc Martin role the other two changes, Daniel and Leonie I don’t know what’s behind those two. I know Amanda Abingdon is the partner of Martin ‘Tim from the Office’ Freeman, Tom Bennett (the new Daniel) was in David Brent Life on the Road.
The first one made me laugh out loud,hope this one does too.
LOL I cannot remember Ian Richardson playing in a comedy film. I'm sure he had the most laughable time of his life in this film! 👍😎🤣🤣🤣

The new Daniel is bloody awful ..
Agreed. But the screenplay was not as fresh. Too many scenes that dragged. And the overreliance on Gyrrl-Power for the setups was preachy, then finally grating on thenerves. I hope it is not a true commentary on the state of British matrimony. Finally, the character of Daniel is a simp, appropriate for an early adolescent romance novel.
Totally enjoyed that. Ireland 🇮🇪 and have shared.
