Bow Hunting the NT Australia. Episode 2.

I travel back to where I grew up, the Northern Territory, Australia. This time I go with bow in hand. I spent time in my teens and 20's fishing and hunting throughout this last frontier of Australia.
Flying into Darwin and heading out on the Arnhem Highway (with a few stops along the way to grab a cold can), I go in search of water buffalo and wild pigs. Join me as I reacquaint myself with this magical part of the world.

Are the wild dogs non-native? Is that why you can hunt them? Are they called “dingos”?

Yes, that was a dingo. It was trying to kill one of the young cows. They are protected in the national Forrest’s, but generally open season on private land. Each State has slightly different legislation.
