MEXICO CITY FLAG CEREMONY | Ceremonia de la Bandera CDMX

Soldiers from the Mexican Army raise a giant Mexican flag in the center of Mexico City's historical center every day. It is an event attended by locals and tourists alike. It occurs in the morning, usually around 8am, but the time does change slightly. Get there early to get a good view.
This is the beginning of a video series titled 'POSTCARD FILMS.' They are meant as a snapshot, a visual postcard to share with others. There's little to no narration and I typically am not in these videos, or make a quick appearance at most. They are meant to showcase a special place or event and be less than five minutes long.

For the camera nerds out there, this was filmed entirely handheld with the Panasonic GH5 and the Olympus 45mm f/1.8 lens.
