    First off, congratulations on your marriage!!!
    Second, I have to say I completely agree with you. I've only been a military significant other for a little over 5 months, but I can say I relate to what you've mentioned. It was extremely hard when my fiance went to boot camp and AIT since we have always been by each others' side for the last 3 yrs but you just keep reminding yourself why he's doing it and why he's worth it. Plus I'm in the process of joining the Navy (he's Army) so we won't see each other for a fat minute but I know it will work out just like you and your husband!! Keep going strong!!

      Thank you!!
      Yup and don’t be discouraged whenever you hear people say things to you or to your significant other. Remember that it’s you two in the relationship and not everyone else do they don’t know your struggles and what you guys have to go through to keep it going.

    I agree , it’s difficult for civilians to understand what you’re going through.

      Yup, unfortunately they say they “understand” but they really don’t :/

    I have a question. My boyfriend is also a marine and I’m already enlisted with the navy (I leave for boot next year) but if you get married, can you get stationed together?

    • @kellypriscilla718
      @kellypriscilla718  Год назад +1

      It’s a lot easier for you guys to get stationed together because the marine corps is a dept of the navy and often times they’re on the same base vs when it’s mil to mil and different branches.

      @@kellypriscilla718 kelly do we have a day off every week? 😂like we still clock in on a boat but we just do what we want…

    • @kellypriscilla718
      @kellypriscilla718  Месяц назад

      You still work your normal hours on the boat, if you’re pier side aka not underway then you have the weekends off unless you’re on duty. When you’re underway or if you’re on deployment you pretty much work 7 days a week. Your department head can give you holiday routine but it varies on every ship.

    What job could I do if I don't like being on a ships for months?

    • @kellypriscilla718
      @kellypriscilla718  2 года назад +1

      There’s not a specific job unfortunately because you will end up on a ship regardless because of how the navy gives peoples duty stations they do a ship or shore rotation every time you pick orders to your next command. I hope this helps !!
