I was gonna say I'm just happy the actor playing Dewey accepted to come back after staying away from acting for so long and then I realized it's not him. Funnily the original actor looks even older than every other sons because of his receding hairline. The other actors either have better hair genetics or more likely follow a good treatment to keep their hair. The actor who played the original Dewey seem to be someone who really doesn’t care anymore about Hollywood and its necessity to stay young looking. I just hope he is happy.

This show and other shows and movies like this that came out in the early 2000's, really bring back the good old warm, colorful summer day vibes. Like joe dirt. The look of warm sunlight of that time has such a peaceful happy feel to it.
The HALucination, was some top tier acting. The show felt exactly as you imagine it would if it was a real family 20 years later, watching the dance at the end made me sad for EPS not wanting to be apart of this revival/reunion thing. Linwood and cast and crew, what an amazing job you all have done. Also lois and the love soldiers scene made me laugh out loud manicly. If you're on the fence about watching this, do it! Not one facet will disappoint you.

From all the reboots girl meets world Fulls house The Conners, Malcom in the Middle just blew them out from the water. It was beautifully done. So hilarious, i couldn't stop laughing 🤣 😆 😂. This was so amazing.

Yeah, Malcom wasn't perfect and caused his own share of problems in the original series, but he is BEYOND justified in wanting nothing to do with his family upon reaching adulthood. Him living what looks to be a VERY pleasant and peaceful life since makes clear he made the right call.
It's kind of shocking, considering that he was having trouble remembering anything about the show for a bit. He's gotten back into the role perfectly like he never left.

Was just watching scenes from the original show and I noticed something missing in this trailer. Practical lighting. Everyone is over lit and looks like they’re in Walmart under 5000k light bulbs. The original show had bright orange sun rays peering through windows creating harsh shadows. Lamps and light fixtures help creating the light that illuminated the actors. What we’re getting here feels nothing like that. The only scene where I see even a hint of that is when Hal is in bed not wanting a hug.

I'm disappointed the original Dewey didn't return, but that recast really is as good as it gets.
Seeing him and the actual actor that played Dewey next to each other as adults- somehow the recast Dewey looks more like an adult version of Dewey than the actual adult Dewey.
I thought it was really Dewey. Great casting.

I just saw all 4 chapters, I don't know what was I expecting, but I was not expecting this.
Laughed, cried, I wish I would have seen this in a place where the actors and everyone involved could have seen how much I honestly enjoyed this.

@Zorklis seems VERY unlikely that cynthia has anything to do with Malcolm's girlfriend, I will say though it's odd that he calls her girlfriend and they're not married yet they have a daughter that old, but yeah it just seems that the girlfriend here might just be the mother and there might not be anything else to it

Was just watching scenes from the original show and I noticed something missing in this trailer. Practical lighting. Everyone is over lit and looks like they’re in Walmart under 5000k light bulbs. The original show had bright orange sun rays peering through windows creating harsh shadows. Lamps and light fixtures help creating the light that illuminated the actors. What we’re getting here feels nothing like that. The only scene where I see even a hint of that is when Hal is in bed not wanting a hug.

I used to despise reboots. Then I remembered TV had its debut, when? 1950? I mean, many, many households could tune in then. 76 years in, in 2026. 🤷 Maybe Future Generations will think this was miraculous. That the reboots weren't so bad!
You have reboots and then you have sequels. This is the latter.
A reboot would be with a new family using the same names. This is a sequel continuous story years later.
