    If you are not a teacher you should be! I enjoy how you explain things as well as show cultural side of the location with the men fixing/building the palapas- I always wondered how that was done !! so thanks for that ! I also love the De la Rosa canday / Mazapan you show at the end! I am not from mexican background but my friends are and they gave me the candy once and I enjoyed it- very sweet but yummy! Have a good day!

      Food is average there and they have two price menus...you will be paying more for most items on the English menu than the Spanish pesos menu.

      The food is average and they have two menus one on English and the other is Spanish..if you pay pesos it's much less. Some items are up to ,6 bucks more in USD. Tell them you want to pay pesos menu prices before you order.

      Oh nooo! You actually can but I had a real bad knee at the time. We took a taxi to the beach, and they had people on the street that guided you to the actual restaurant. They allowed a cab to actually come to the beach pavement to pick us up because it started to storm.

  • @Allinmyworld

    So you got a taxi from the port to the Krazy lobster and then caught a taxi back as well? In total about how many did you spend including taxi?

    • @sometimessuitesisters8661
      @sometimessuitesisters8661  Год назад

      It was about $6 each way. My sisters and I spent about $140 total for the 3 of us. Appetizers, lobster entree and a couple of drinks each.

      Some people do walk, it is doable, but most take the taxi or beach shuttle from the port.

      It's actually very inexpensive to get to the beach. There are shuttles and taxis right at the exit. Taxis cost about $5 or $6. The shuttle us a little less

      We payed about $6 and it took between 5 and 10 minutes. Pretty easy to get there. There's also shuttles you can take but not sure of the cost.

    • @sometimessuitesisters8661
      @sometimessuitesisters8661  8 месяцев назад +1

      I don't really remember differences in prices. A lot of the lobster prices are not actually on the menu and you have to ask. Not sure we ever saw a Spanish menu even though we spoke to them in Spanish.

    Is it feasible to take an electric scooter from the port and one person walks

    • @sometimessuitesisters8661
      @sometimessuitesisters8661  9 месяцев назад

      The problem with walking is that the route takes you through some side streets (not a direct route along the beach to the port. ) We have seen, however, vans that offer accessibility options. We traveled with a couple that had a scooter and the driver lifted the scooter onto trunk of the van. It is within walking distance, if that is what you choose though.

    I spent 7 months there my ex girlfriend is a masseuse at Krazy lobster... Beware the vendors try to fleece tourists...probably more do than i have seen in other parts of Mexico and i have been all over Mexico the last 3 years and speak Spanish. It's rough because most of the men are taxi drivers and most of the women are masseuses. The competition is fierce but they will always try to fleece the cruise ship tourists..be wary amigos.
    My ex would tell them it's an hour massage but they only give 45 minutes so they can get more customers and they don't go to other massage places, of which there are way too many..but still they usually will charge 20 USD for an hour which is cheap but you have to haggle with them. But that's their bottom price all the massage places..20 USD an hour for relaxing basic massage. More for sports hard or medium pressure massage.

    • @sometimessuitesisters8661
      @sometimessuitesisters8661  Год назад +2

      Yea, it's easy for tourists to get overcharged for stuff, but I actually feel like Majahual has way better prices than other ports. I always have a set price in my mind that I feel is a good deal and am willing to pay at any place I go. I have to say that the massages are the best deal I've ever seen...(even if they don't go the full hour).

    • @garycastronova7939
      @garycastronova7939 Год назад +2

      @@sometimessuitesisters8661 Yea the massages are the cheapest i have seen...because there are so many of them fighting for customers. It was much better before the quarantine my ex told me.
      It's sad to see so many working for peanuts but at the same time it gets me mad to see tourists getting fleeced like that. Some don't mind though. Well thanks for the video i like to see what's going on there.

    • @garycastronova7939
      @garycastronova7939 Год назад

      @@JulieMai_ No charge at Krazy lobster if you're getting food and drinks. They do keep their beach the cleanest. Good idea to make a reservation if you're there in the busy season from late November to Easter. Beware they have a small kitchen and a huge dining area and if they get real busy the food won't be getting there quickly nor will it be up to usual standards.
