Ea are probably happy with every gamemode being ultra competitive. If your squad gets tested every game you play, the chance that you get frustrated and buy packs goes up. Ea only cares about money and thats the very sad truth
At the end of the day they want this because they want you to go to the store. They want this so competitive so the best way to get the best cards is going to the store. It is all about the store to them currently. And this isn't geared towards us adults who know what is going on, its geared towards the kids who have no idea about how this is and will do ANYTHING to get the cards. Mainly because how they get away with this being a E rated (Pegi 3+) game. They have these casino aspects such as the store, and overall player picks and things like that exposed to children as they explain it off as "Surprise Mechanics". GTFOH EA.
When you keep losing, you keep playing because you are desperate for improvements. If you keep winning every match, you might lose interest and stop playing.

They have done something which when you buy from the store your players will play better regardless of if you packed something good. it's a fucking joke

Good in theory but a person could leave and say I'll not gonna get better with a 99 team. Happy players spend money. That's why ea got it right for so long. You'd have x hard games and x hard for someone else. Always creating the thought I could get better if I spend some money on better cards. I'll get them wins. Only way to save current system is build a rewards system based on games played not wins.

It would depend on why you’re saying it. Some guys say it cuz they just wanna be able to ignore women and the fact that they also have their own professional game. If you have a different reason, you might not be included in the misogyny.

Also, it's not MiSoGyNiStIc to not want women in a game that has always been men and generally for men. I think everyone who has played finds it irritating being bodied by a 4ft 10 female player weighing 100 lbs when you're running at them with haaland.
No, it cannot be saved. The never fixed the gameplay in all these years, but this year, its a complete mess. Every game is a gamble in case of gameplay. I got ultra slow gameplay, gameplay with players in mud, gameplay when players react with a high delay, then gameplay with speed x2+ and its just a mess. I got the best UT ever this year, so no complainments there (I play UT for 10-11 years now), but what brings me the best team, when the gameplay is just bullshit? I have done Hemp FS for example to upgrade from my Hemp TS - the first games, she was so slow, so chunky, then the gameplay was okayish, she was brilliant - so not the cards are a factor, the gameplay is.
The fact that we constantly have to remind people that gameplay is the most important thing, in A VIDEO GAME, says everything about the state of this community
I stopped playing and life is much better. When something strange happens in the game, it's not bad coding, it's not EA incompetence, it is deliberate.
EA have patented matchmaking and systems that have you winning and losing to keep you hooked. Don't buy their games and most of all do not buy packs. It is the only way things will change. The things you see EA doing or not doing, are not accidental. Momentum/Scripting/DDA has been in the franchise for over a decade now. You can see it and feel it in the game.
What's the point of giving us these insane squads if I can't even pass to my midfielders. It's like giving someone a cup while being in a drought

I just bought the game 😭😭😭 I’ve been playing fifa since 98 but I’ve taken a longtime off. Man the passing, player switching, midfielders just randomly running away from defending, every shot results in a corner the list goes on. Crazy how they actually released this.

1 - Wanting separate UTs for men and women’s sports actually makes sense for me 2 - Didn’t buy EA qnd started playing Efootball this year which is free and you can go up to top divisions F2P 3 - EA is really making pack opening too mandatory which might prey on people prone to addiction (they all do it but much more than other games) 4 - Attacking is so bad, No AI or real different tactics at all , only realized that when I switched to Efootball 5 - UFL is coming up f2p and you will have FIFA 25 by 2k I already left and not coming back

Pro clubs needs tournaments too, they had them in 23 every week or so.
They wont give us repeatable tournaments or game modes because people will stop buying packs to gain fodder for sbcs

I would play a whole year of Career Mode and Pro Clubs if the modes were good, I do not play UT at all because is ALWAYS a grind I don't wanna commit to.

Playing with players you know and have watched, and players you have heard of makes the most sense, if they have a great card of course. This is exactly my issue with this game. People just play with cards and not because they know or love them. I don't even use them because there is this dumb animation that the game does that makes the female cards run like shit. I thought it was going to stop but it doesn't. How people haven't noticed this is beyond me.

This is my first year of playing Ultimate Team. If im being honest I don’t really have as big of an issue as other people do with the gameplay. Yall just love to complain because u spend all yo money on coins. I’ve spent a total of $5 on coins, my whole team has came frm objectives and rewards. It’s not hard to not be a degenerate spender .
heck no!!! after my career mode froze after 3 seasons of time spent I went back and purchased Fifa 23. Something about having Fifa attached to it and an actual world cup feels better.
End of the video is the most important part. If the gameplay is good, 80% of these complaints go away Bcus it’s simply fun to play the game. No game modes can save EAFC, only fixing the gameplay can

IDEAS FOR EA ULTIMATE TEAM/CAREER MODE: Solo and Multi-player UEFA Champions League mode, All Nations in the Youth Academy, FIFA Storage (For Cards), A solo player mode DIV 10 TO TOP 200, Less Promos, Multi-Player Career Mode (A bunch of EA games have Multi-Player Career Mode), Monthly Rewards (Reward players with one special card depending how much hours they played), Add Beckenbauer back to EAFC.

I have been so furious about the game after the patch. Before it, I was progressing and had fun. But after the patch, I have felt that the gameplay has changed a lot. I dont have control of my team. Players are running like that are glued to the ground. My CBs cannot follow the opposition players in the penalty area because they are in slow motion.
I dont know what happened but i cant win a game anymore to save my life. My AI is braindead and i play against ppl and their players know where to be, can defend all my passing routes, block everything, save everything. I cant even win on world class on squad battles, and yeah im done
I play balanced balanced as I found direct passing your players just stand there
Skill issue
I like ultimate team for the grind, I'm more of a casual player and grinder as I don't play fut champs and don't really sweat it out in division rivals. I just like doing objectives and making my team better but I can still acknowledge where this game sucks all because of a lack of understanding from ea and just pure laziness. Only good thing about eafc is how icons affect chemistry and maybe evolutions sometimes.
The problem with the game isn't to EA's Laziness or lack of understanding, it's due to money being their main objective, that's the only thing they really care about, everything EA does is designed to get you to spend FIFA points, the reason we have more 88 rated special cards than ever is because people spend money to get those special cards, in the end it all comes down to money with EA

One of the things that doesn't get mentioned in these kind of videos is the players themselves. The gamers need to not take casual modes like friendlies serious. The gamers need to actually stop relying on videos that tell them the meta and tactics and figure it out on their own and play the teams they actually want. The fun factor of this game would up if people did play teams they are fans of or use players they are fans of. Folks are mixing and matching different teams to form a team they like just for fun. They are just going with whatever is the maximum meta. EA can do all the things mentioned but it wont matter if the players still wanna be rats.
I think EA have also forced the players to be rats to a certain degree with all the competitive game modes. If Rivals and Champs are the only modes you can consistently play, you'll have to be a little ratty.
Aside from the inconsistent gameplay, for me the biggest issue I have in this game is the lack of good rewards. The problem with all these 88+ cards you have is that 90% of them are not meta cards. In this year game, if you want a chance to win consistently, you need meta players. Let's take it back to the TOTY promo. On that promo, I didn't pack a single TOTY or a TOTY Icon. Even when they were giving out that free Messi, I wasn't able to pack him either. I busted my ass saving packs, grinding out rivals, qualifications, weekend league, friendly cups, drafts, squad battles, and objectives, alllll of that, to get what, just fodder! The only way to buy high level meta players is to get coins, and to get high amounts of coins you have to be a day trader, try to purchase players to invest in, in the hope you can sell them at a higher price. I dont want to be doing that, i want to play the game.
These are the reasons i quit this game, EA know where to stick it!
If I can chime in as a casual player, Ultimate Team should be regulated. They should limit special cards per squad, and create a restricted list for certain players who are considered 'meta.' Every other competitive collectathon does, so I'm surprised that EA doesn't, and I don't think this issue can be overstated.
I saw a lot of competitive players complain about the TOTY Messi problem, which I understand as a casual, because it's precisely the same with me in Division 9 when I face a full team of Icons. I'm fully content with playing with a team I want to use, which is Paris FC, I never expected to win a lot, but at least hold my own for a few divisions, yet I can't hold my own because everyone either has ridiculous loan cards like 99-match loan Haaland, or a full team of Icons and other Special Cards.
This game is a glorified mobile game that we pay £60 for. Mobile games that run on a similar formula to Ultimate Team are free. It wouldn't be so bad if this game didn’t neglect other modes in favour of their paywhale game mode.
EA needs to bring tournament mode back for sure
Used to love the bronze and silver and league tournaments (fifa 12) that would encourage you to play with lower rated players you would never use plus you could buy and sell players from that league to make coins when a new tournament came out.

First year i did not even open ultimate team. Been playing a little bit of seasons, mostly career mode legendary with sliders and been having more fun than ever. Ultimate team is so toxic. Glad i stopped. Played FUT from fifa 11-23, over 2,000 games each

Been playing for over a decade. Two years ago, I deleted in May, last year deleted in March...I feel like I'm about to delete earlier this year
I stopped playing after TOTY. Even with packing Ribery and Viera TOTY the gameplay was still terrible and that made me quit.
The biggest problem for me is the power curve. As someone who plays just occasionally, I can’t keep up at all. I get matched against people with teams almost ENTIRELY made of icons in Division 5. It’s absolutely laughable
I agree on everything you said. For me it's the gameplay delay that I experience which makes me don't want to play the game. I feel like my player's run in slow-motion and my opponents are all magicians and know how to defend and dribble me out. Till next year ea ✌🏻😊
fifa 17 was prime fifa. drop the best cards off and it will be more reliant on skill (and luck of course). that was when it was fun and meant more. fifa 17 was the last FIFA game i played year around.

I went back to 23, 2-3 games and i'm done, Dinho ,R9,Gullit and Roberto Carlos, it's all i need....no sbc, no time wasted in menu,no player to obtain! Perfect!

We complain every year but yet we fall into the same trap buy the game year after year like drug addicts!
EA is not interested in saving a game that makes them ton of money. That won't change before they start loosing money, and that is not gonna happen anytime soon, when EVERYONE has jump on the casinowagon. That requires a mentalshift in player AND streamers content creation to such a degree, that I would consider it a miracle if it happened. Unlikely. Besides, addiction is hard to get out of, and streamers won't stop creating the content that brings food on their table.
EA could easily, YES EASILY, invest in the game, and make it better for the playerbase (F'it. If I had a gamecompany, and a clone of EAFC, along with 100mil, EA would be closing there EAFC franchise within 2 years - It would be that easy to do.), but the yearly profit will liikely suffer from that, so why would they, when the Casino model seems to bring in more money every year?

I just think it’s hilarious that EA thinks we’re all too Stupid to notice the difference when DDA is adjusted. Like literally we are humans with muscle memory!! I can clearly tell the difference from my players actually being responsive and creating space for play development to then , being Lethargic , crashing into each other, and moving like they have glue on the bottom of their shoes. And let’s not forget every rebound landing at my opponents feet. Smh 🤦🏻♂️ this game is so obviously a money grab and nothing more. It’s just so sad that we have no other options if we want to play a ⚽️ game.
Ultimately the gameplay is just fucked.
- keepers can’t catch, always parrying shots
- every opposition corner or free kick within 30 yards goes in.
- midfielders rooted to the spot and don’t track back, leaving my defence massively exposed to a flooding of opposition players.
- AI controlled players in your team are non responsive. How can I control every player on my team?
- Cannot press circle to make a tackle without giving a penalty away. Even if I press it to block a shot, the slightest contact with the shooter, sometimes seconds after the shot has been taken, still results in a pen.
- AI players don’t make runs for you going forward. Again, how can I control every player?
- Finesse shots are non existent.
I could think of more reasons why this gameplay is broken. I deleted the game and all my saved data last night and I feel so free. This was the first game I bought since FIFA 21, and I was hoping for improvements over 3 years, especially given the rebrand. It’s worse.

Keep all d game modes like rivals etc n bring back cup mode, uecl Div 10-7, el Div 6-4, ucl 3 to elite. 5, 10,20 k or packs. Easy
Cups do help like this fut fantasy one, issue is fifa players are like locust and want to gobble up all the content immediately, n wanna play golden goal ( after crying there is no where to play the non meta cards)
What an absolute cancer of a mode UT type modes are for sport games. I never imagined it would become to this when I started to play the first ones. Haven’t bought a fifa past 17 because they started to clearly fall short in actual football evolution. I’ve played trials of the rest and it’s genuinely infuriating how bad the player animations still are for example. There’s no passion to make it a better FOOTBALL game. No modes can save it. It needs a complete overhaul.
From just playing the career mode (I'm only playing the AI) its just as bad as the PVP mode. The little things they add in that fabricate difficulty is the biggest problem with this game, too much randomness that feels blatantly unfair its basically the game failing us. If I tackle the ball off a guy tell me why it bounces back to their nearest player and when I get it off them the same thing again or it goes out for a throw in... for them! Then the AI as well making absolutely mind boggling stupid decisions, not making runs, not covering attacking players and at times (seemingly a lot of times) just drifting away from attacking players so they have a clear route to goal. I'm not even exaggerating.
All the recent FIFA games are trash but FC24 is by far the worst game Ive ever played. The scripting is so crazy evident, the whole gameplay just infuriates you.

Reaches the point where you just laugh at some of the gameplay and general attitude of players. Given up with building strong teams and only playing with my Aston Villa Past and Present squad to try and keep it relatively interesting (evos have actually been great this year for those who don’t want the same promo cards each year).
I don’t mind losing when someone is more skilled, and I don’t even really mind the cutbacks/mechanics as that’s just the way it is, but I cannot stand the sluggish gameplay where you cannot make a simple pass and your players turn like trucks. In game modes like squad battles it’s completely fine and everything feels smooth and responsive.
EAFC is the last game I will purchase from the franchise. All this company cares about Ultimate Team and selling packs and there making it loud and clear now to anybody else who still love’s career mode by breaking it completely. I have barely touched 24 since I’ve lost all interest.
Today i quit football game for good i started with pes 6 then converted to fifa since fifa 12 last night i broke my controller and one of my monitor in rage for fucking fifa 23 crazy card 99 donnaromma 99 abdou pele .....and the toxic player keep exploiting the corrupt gameplay system so i decide to quit for good

Started the game in feb and im enjoying it a lot. I even made a somewhat meta team due to the very generous objective rewards.Idk why ppl complain abt the gameplay because no matter what it’s still gonna be “trash”. In fifa 13 people said it was too hard and too skill move heavy and fifa 14 im sure had issues, fifa 15 was terrible for the transfer market, fifa 16 had imbalanced pacing and look at how people talk about these games now as if it’s the greatest piece of gaming of all time. I like building teams and sbc’s, content creators have been hating what ea generate for the past decade and its tradition to hate on it. I’m on old gen and I’m enjoying it a lot, and it hasn’t been very buggy for me but when my player makes a mistake then it’s alr because in real life football players make mistakes too. I guarantee you guys if we had fifa 14 released now you would hate on it for “lack of content” or “trash gameplay” or it being the “same game” for years

This is my first fifa ultimate team ever. Got cruyff, toty kerr, kdb, gullit, yashin, just wonderfull team, but i suck at game. Where are all casuals, i cant compete with people that play ultimate team from childhood.
I'm one of EA's biggest critics but I just redownloaded it so I can play pro clubs with the boys and I'm having a blast. Pro club is the only thing that's fun though
More high rated cards means they can give us loads of big packs so we think we're getting something but less chance of getting a decent pull due to how many high rated fodder cards that are in packs. Fifa 21 50k packs were better than the 83x10 packs they currently give us. Make no mistake, the increase in high rated cards is a strategy to sells more points and will only get worse
EA is best described as a mobile gaming or gambling company in general, they don’t want those who just play the game, they want those who are utterly addicted to it, same as alcohol industry too. They don’t care about normies, they are evil and prey on the weak. Sickening stuff, nothing will change until all of the addicts get help. If you’ve spent money on fifa points you were an addict at one point and still might be.
everyone talks about online and those fut stuff. how about core game itself? they basially clone the same game every year, very easy to score goals, unrealistic stuff, defenders and keepers are useless, AI is robotic, full of glitches and bugs. too much script and momentum, skill doesnt matter sometimes. also they have not been adding any major league, national team or anything big for years. they keep adding fem leagues that no one cares while real (men) teams lacking new leagues and nationals. icons / classic players are only exclusive to online, they are removing more and more legacy stuff every year, removed classic xi, world xi, and now adidas all star team too, wouldnt be surprised they also remove football aid (icon team) in the next game
Just deleted the game again, after deleting the game for the 1st time in October, gave a second chance now in February and nope. EA FC 24 sucks ass.
I dont know how people still play this game. There are other games you can play. Eg Football manager. Football games have been dead since 2019
To be honest ! EA sold out its fans. Career mode was the OG mode that made fifa FIFA! After 2012 ultimate team they got more money and fans who complain the game is shit !! If they made a career mode game separately and it was packed with 2k like career then i bet you the hate would onky come from ultimate team players.
The game is incredibly scripted. You will literally ball out and win X amount of games. Then they will have you lose Y amount in order to keep you playing. Once you hit elite they stop fucking you over consistently. You just get it once in awhile up the ass. The games okay if you actually have a passion for football and like to play as certain players. It’s comical to me how bad the gameplay can get so it makes me laugh pretty often.
No it can’t, they need to ditch the frostbite engine, and work on gameplay end of, at least learn from the Pes games about player movement and dribbling and passing, for once try and simulate the game of football and not arcade ice skating with a ball. If you have the actually licenses then you have the responsibility of simulating the actually and stop relying on ultimate team, and get back to creating a in depth career mode. I’ve love over to football life because it plays a better game, which is modded from pes 2021 but played better than a game costing £80 and more who has the actual licenses. The frostbite engine was the worst thing that has happened to ea sports games.
In short, no. The only way any FC game in the future can be saved is if competition arises to EA and they start losing money. Likely won’t happen unfortunately.
I know this is long ago but I have 5 things to say about fc 25
Categories the animations, add a rating limit to the divisions to division rivals e.g in div 10- div 7 maximum your team should be is 86 rated and div 6- div 4 should be maximum 88 rated and then div 3 can be 91 rated and div 2- div 1 can be any rating
They should grow this rating depending how high the power curve gets throughout the game
Also they really need to lower the power curve so in the year the game releases it the highest rated cards should be 93 rated
And then in the new year the highest rated cards can be 95 rated and and then 3 months later 97 rated and then in may is gonna be 99 rated as the highest and lastly release a promo each month, and also the same person of one promo cant be in the other one or any other promo
If you see this as yapping then don’t worry, I don’t even know how I got the time to write this

Gaming in general has gone down hill, worst of which is the call of duty franchise which is without doubt is the worst online experience ever, FC24 is going down that route, as is Battlefield and numerous other games.
