This was the first keyboard i ever bought on a fleamarket about 25 years ago. Had so much fun with this little gem. This brings back some sweet memories!
I had this very keyboard when I was in my teenage years! An learned to play this piece and many other Jean-Michel Jarre pieces on this keyboard. I learned to play most of OMD too. Great stuff!
Really well worth time and train! After so many videos and music heard for months here, this still could be is a very unexpected surprise that made me smile and get truly amazed! Thank you. Awesome!
I also did axel F on it from harold faltenmayer and many other stuff. Nice performance. Now i have still my casio CZ-5000 Korg poly 61, Yamaha Motif ES7, Ensoniq ASR-10, rhodes 780, and many other keyboards... This is nostalgy for me. Thanks for this vid.
I think that's what I was aiming for. A bit of silly nostalgia on a mostly inappropriate synth! Good collection Marc. I hope you are continuing to write and play lots.
This is the best casio mt by a mile and you show us why. I had a near immaculate model, and in a moment of financial desperation regretfully sold it. Wish I'd attempted to recreate some Jarre; it works really well. Lovely gentle filter. Nice performance by the way.
Very impressive . I used to mutitrack on a casio mt68 using two tape recorders and homemade leads. I greatly admire people who can push technology beyond its normal limits such as you. Well done you are really brilliant.
I used to cut the tracks between the motor on a tape recorder and put a variable resistor in between and vary the pitch of unusual sounds and to try and get that JMJ effect of swirling white noise. I dont know where those recordings are now. I love your idea of unscrewing the erase head , thats so clever , dang I wish I had thought of that. It was JMJ that got me into the whole keyboard , synth and unusual sounds thing and its great to meet a fellow JMJ fan of the era. Your playing is very neat and the sounds are well picked , god only knows what you would be like on a professional set up . Made my day watching your video .
I had a smallish Casio something like this, but without the synth part. Wouldn't it be cool if you could "talk" them into programming your demo into one of these? Quite the fun thing to play on - and an awesome performance ! :) My "career" started on one of these ...
+TheMrzucker21 Thank you so much. I do have plans to do these songs at some point: Together in Electric Dreams Final Countdown Popcorn Telstar Tetris Legs (ZZ Top) Digital Love (Daft Punk)
You know the original video for Oxygene, Pt. 4 where JMJ just swings from keyboard to keyboard and is clearly not playing any of the instruments?... Your rendition was a joy to watch! :D
Hi just wanted to ask I’m doing a JMJ project would you give permission for me to use your video mainly for sharing and some remixes Thanks Stuart Your name would be shown
Yes that would be an honour, but please link me to your project as I would like to see it, and where I can see my mention. If you go to my About Me on my channel you can find my email address. Many thanks!
This is the perfect song to demo this keyboard.
Just another proof that talent is something which doesn't come with fancy, expensive keyboard.
Fantastic performance :)
Thanks so much! It took years of training though!
I have to agree ! :)

Can't believe what you got out of this little thing....I also love your impro in the middle section...Gorgeous!
Thanks so much. It's all possible with some imagination and button pressing.
Along with bigger brother CT-410V they are the one of the best sounding Casios. I gave it to my friend as a present.
The CT-410V is the same but with bigger keys and built in speakers. Great fun, thanks for watching.
I had this very keyboard when I was in my teenage years! An learned to play this piece and many other Jean-Michel Jarre pieces on this keyboard. I learned to play most of OMD too. Great stuff!
Nice, old school and still very pleasing to the ears. Great work!
Brilliant!
When I was 10 I used to play a similar keyboard. It was a Casiotone MT100 and I miss it a lot.
You could easily buy another one now!
Really well worth time and train! After so many videos and music heard for months here, this still could be is a very unexpected surprise that made me smile and get truly amazed! Thank you. Awesome!
I really enjoyed your extemporisation, thank you for posting this!
great Cover!!! I love your Impro @ 2:40... I love great Music with little Synths... ;)
This was brilliant, especially the white noise lead in and out. Now recreate the music video with yourself and the Casio.
Wonderfull ! Thx for sharing with us !
Excellent 👍

Very nice music thank you very much
wow, great performance, enjoyed it very much! thanks!
Amazing
Great job on a great song! This is one my favorites of the old Casios.
I'll make some more videos soon. I promise!
Great performance. You have the ability to speak the language of music in a humble way. Enjoy.
this is so freaking good. nice job man.
Nice one, Al. This really made me smile.
:-)
Hanna Silver ...and any other synth lovers may enjoy this by my friend Alex.
Superb!! JMJ fan!
Your mind is open to any music. you sound great. I would love to play my bass with you. it would be a very wonderful experience!
que lindo encontrar esto...

They're fairly easy to find still, and they don't tend to break unless they're abused. This one only cost me £50!
👏👏👏 Nice song, nice performance, amazing player, congrats!!!
Merci beaucoup bon continuation ❤
Nice cover.
Makes me wish I'd kept my old mt800. But im sure I have the realistic badged version of this keyboard at my sons house somewhere.
Very impressive . I used to mutitrack on a casio mt68 using two tape recorders and homemade leads. I greatly admire people who can push technology beyond its normal limits such as you. Well done you are really brilliant.
Thanks! I once unscrewed the erase head from my tape deck so that I could record layers over the same tape. It sounded awful but it was fun.

Excellent!! Bravo. thanks for this delightful moment
Amazing feat for such a simple keyboard. If you can do a redux with phaser and reverb pedal effects it would make it so much better!
Good idea but it's supposed to show what can be done using only the Casio.
Good show!
Molto bravo 👍
Awesome!

My "career" started on one of these ...
There is no demo even on these! I guess memory was too expensive. Thanks for your compliments though.
Love it - great job!
Great performance, dude!
Fantastic !!!

+TheMrzucker21 Thank you so much. I do have plans to do these songs at some point:
Together in Electric Dreams
Final Countdown
Popcorn
Telstar
Tetris
Legs (ZZ Top)
Digital Love (Daft Punk)
***** I learn with your videos, im waiting for these videos
That's incredible, I really want one now after buying the Casio MT-55 which is an earlier version of this.
The tone options on this are far broader than normal for a toy Casio!
101 in 10 sweet
Suena hermoso 💓😮
The MT400V was my very first keyboard. It's still in the family, my sister's family have it now.
Hello Nathaniel lol
Great
awesome!
Your CASIO work rules. :)
PSS-270 Casio-Core Music. Your Casio collection rules!
Top!
You know the original video for Oxygene, Pt. 4 where JMJ just swings from keyboard to keyboard and is clearly not playing any of the instruments?... Your rendition was a joy to watch! :D
Less is more perhaps? There's nothing worse in a music video than miming!
holy shit this is incredible.
Great!!!
Wooooow!!!
Impressive :)
❤❤❤❤❤

Such a beautiful girl, plays this nice song.
Not a girl but I don't mind!

I believe this is from 1984, as is my CZ-101 which makes similar sounds, but with many more editing options.
80s
I've made the video, check it out if you're interested
Melody is too short, it should be longer and it shouldn't be that different
Oh well. You had better record your own version and show me how it's done.
I'll let you know when I make one, I liked the second half of it
соог
It's just a dodgy cover with an equally dodgy backing track, but thanks for sharing anyway.
Awesome!
