Finally bro we won! We have turned the tide for Elvis again, he is the coolest and people are talking about it again and not embarrassed. Elvis Presley 🇺🇸🌎 back on top of the world!!
@@ElvisistheMan_ like I said before, Everyone wants to be Elvis Presley. Even if they're just jealous of his fame or recognition. The ONLY person that is more talked about after he's been gone for MORE years than Elvis Presley that comes to mind is Jesus Christ. Who by the way Elvis Presley says IS THE REAL KING! By the way nice shirt but the emblem looks like it's on backwards on camera. LoL I didn't know if you knew.
Because I am a child of the 50's and a fan, people still don't realize what a superstar he was. No one was as Beautiful yet masculine as he was. He transcends time. When people see him for the first time, they can't believe he was real. As Britney Spears said, "Elvis was the sexiest man to ever walk the earth. Thanks man.
Elvis was huge before the “Elvis” movie, but now it brought him back in the limelight , so he’s as big as ever once again , I just love it, no one will match his talent ever‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️♥️♥️♥️
The first time that I saw Elvis was in 1956 when I was 5. I have loved him since back then. I saw his movies as they hit the theater and I was 17 when he did the 68 special. I was so sad when he died in 1977. I was 26 when he died. I am surprised how many people like him today.
You hit the nail on the head when you said how things have changed for Elvis fans with the internet. You are probably too young to remember the days when there were hundreds if not thousands of fan clubs around the world who only had contact with each other by letters and we swapped stencilled newsletters with other clubs. No internet, no email,no social media, no photocopiers, no digital cameras, no mobile phones. We relied on magazines and newspapers for our information, or if you were lucky, mail from Colonel Parkers office, RCA or maybe Graceland, but I don't recall us getting anything from there here in Australia. However, the Elvis World was very strong back then even with such limited resources. We could never have imagined owning our own copies of movies, until videos became available. And of course we had records, but no CDs or DVDs. And as for email.... you can book seats at concerts anywhere in the world now, whereas when I went to see Elvis in San Francisco in 1976, it took a month to organised everything by mail....
Elvis's 68 Come Back Special was absolutely AWESOME He was in his PRIME one of his Greatest Performance He gave his ALL to his Fans . AND Elvis is not Gone he is LOVED today and always will be .....NO ONE can Compare to this man now or ever That's why he is 'THE KING OF ROCK AND ROLL'....He left this world way too soon BUT his memory AND his music will live forever The proof is in the 2022 movie of Elvis and the number of people who went to see this movie ALL these years after his death NO other performer can claim that....I seen Elvis 13 times in concert and if you never seen him live you have NO idea the kind of performer he was it was magical... .
Read Steve Binder's book: Elvis tried to back out of the performance at the last minute. Binder (the special's director) had to go backstage and persuade Elvis to go on with the show. Thank God he did.
That is one of the best books about Elvis IMHO. Steve tells it as it was, no hidden agendas there. Hard to believe Elvis could be so nervous, but as evidenced on the various videos of his Vegas and tour performances, he was always nervous before a show. "Always new people in every audience, and they might not like me"....geez, he really did have no idea of how much people idolised him.
The film has introduced so many people to Elvis. I have had a lot of people who weren't fans saying how much they loved it. It's not a documentary and, although I was a bit critical after my first watching of it, I then went just to appreciate it and ended up seeing it 18 times at the Cinema. Now I have the DVD... am going to see an outdoor showing of it in June, too. Austin really did a great job getting in to Elvis.
Elvis is the King and the greatest of all time and that's coming from a 35 year old in UK. My dad Irish loves loves Elvis presley and my mother. Brought up the right way appreciating his voice and the stage presence. He'll be remembered forever. My father says that to this day. I still listen and watch all the live performances. I love Elvis on tour and That's the way it is. Only the other day I watched Elvis in Hawaii live show for charity. On the surround sound system it sounds epic. From some songs he only really did as a one off like "Something"- the beatles song or "Welcome to my world" - the Jim reeves song. Im in love with the movie of elvis. Best film of the year. Ric flair comes out to the same music as elvis on Aloha From Hawaii. Go listen.
Elvis was way ahead of his time. Those sit down segments remind me the MTV Unplugged seeries. It's awesome that Elvis is still somebody worth talking about and an influencer. I think he would have been amazed to see and hear all this.
Somehow a lot of Elvisfans have felt alone with their love for him - including yours truely. It is so good to see, that young people are discovering him again❤
Elvis I have been following when he was alive but never saw him on stage. Watched so many videos of him. Such talent, he just had it all. Down side he trusted some of the wrong people. Such a giving person, he helped so many and is still providing to his descendants today.
Elvis was the man king of rockin roll his an legend his voice was an miracle his present on stage was awesome his passion performance on stage was incredible his music will never die .
I just wish the famous celebrities would have stood up and voiced how great they thought Elvis was while he was alive. It would have done a world of good for Elvis. 😢
Yeah, funny about that. I was intrigued by the video tapes of Elvis' first night at Las Vegas, when they had all those big stars in the audience. When they were being welcomed by the bloke at the entrance they were all saying how much they were looking forward to seeing Elvis, and they wouldn't have missed it for anything. How many Elvis records did they own? How many Elvis movies did they watch before Vegas?
Elvis was and still is a phenomena. His music is timeless and will continue to impact the earth far into the future. Never been a cooler super star than Elvis. Nice to see people today appreciating his genius.
I think for a portion of my life especially growing up as a teenager in the 80s I felt a responsibility as an Elvis fan to protect his memory, therefore I talked and sang Elvis whenever I could. I remember my mother saying back when I was studying for my school exams, "if there was a test on Elvis you would get As". I think today we no longer have to defend him, I think with the movie and just time the truth has come out, he is a legend, he revolutionised music, fashion and gave birth to the teenager. I also feel the movie makes Elvis human and his life is both epic and tragic in equal measure and people can get on board with a true human story. Great find, I will say this though I heard a podcast where Josh Rogan made fun of Elvis at one stage and I had little respect for him doing that and now with this all is forgiven Josh. Thanks for this upload.
Steve you sound like me after he passed away if I heard somebody say something bad about him I was on I would tell him exactly how I felt I would say things like you don't know him if you can't say something good keep your mouth shut and I'm still got away today if you can say something good about him then keep your mouth shut you take care and God bless
That was awesome hearing Joe and Ric talking about Elvis and you could really see their admiration for Elvis show up in their faces!! Awesome that people are learning more about Elvis’s life and sharing all sorts of stories about him! It seems everyone will have something great to say about that 68 Special! If you didn’t know about Elvis before that, you definitely heard something about Elvis after that taping!! Elvis really kicked ass doing that 68 Special! It kind of showed a more human man type of side to him instead of just the movies and his performances of long before that time. That Special really showed his magnetic personality and even showed some raw animal sexuality in his personality. I think his last movies had dulled his personality so much that when he came out with his 68 Special people were drawn back into his former energy that he had performed with. Thanks for what you find!
It’s definitely cool to see Elvis be brought up in a good light . I’ve been an Elvis fan since I was a kid . I’m 60 now and remember back when I was 14,15 or so my friends riding me because of it . They were listening to Zeppelin, The police , Styx and I was jamming to “Stranger in my own hometown” Always great to see his immense talent and influence he had in the music industry being recognized and appreciated !
I remember when I was in secondary school and the girls were going nuts over the Beatles and Rolling Stones. I couldn't understand what they saw in any of those boys - okay their music was great, but they had no looks, none of them were really good looking. Elvis had it over everyone as far as looks went.
I’m 58 and a new Elvis fan. I was 13 when he died. I may have heard some of his songs on the radio but didn’t know much about him. I didn’t pay attention to music until about 1980. I do recall feeling sad for Lisa Marie when he died. I kept up with what was going on with her over the years. When she died, I started watching old Elvis videos and saw and heard what an outstanding singer and entertainer he was. No one compares.
@@Kaybeautyfinds Hi , I have had friends who never really listened to Elvis besides what everyone knows , hound dog and the “thank you , thank you very much” jokes when he was “fat Elvis” which they think was all of the 70’s but anyway I had them listen to songs from his ‘68 comeback or had them listen to his incredible band and his voice during aloha or songs they never heard him doing …My Babe , Never been to Spain , stranger in my own hometown. I remember telling them Elvis was so much more than hound dog and a 70’s caricature
Great clps of them appreciating our Elvis! I get just as excited as you when I listen to people talk about Elvis and how talented this guy was ! Really appreciated that ! Thanks 😊
Elvis will always be The King and a legend. But we gotta give it to Baz Luhermann, for bringing the King's true story to the forefront. We all know that bits and pieces were added in to tell the story of Elvis, but we have to admit, the movie was epic and it certainly cements The Legend of Elvis Presley!🔥🔥
Absolutely agree. I wasn't interested in seeing the movie when it came out, just another impersonator, I thought. How wrong I was. It was only when some of my friends who were NOT Elvis fans before, started telling me how great the movie was, and how they have started listening to Elvis' music and watching footage of his concerts, that I thought I'd better check it out. I have the BlueRay DVD and have watched it twice so far. One friend 20 years younger than me watched it with me and when they showed the riots at the early concerts, she asked me 'was it really like that?' and I could tell her indeed it was.
@@Patracat When Elvis burst on the scene, it was like an asteroid had hit the earth! Women were going crazy over him and men wanted to be like him. He perfectly exemplifies, what a real Rock Star was, he was the First and the Original.
I grew up in the 70s and 80s. 1977 and it was tough for young Elvis fans after he passed. But I was not dissuaded from standing up for the GOAT. When in HS when we had assignments on people or had to give speeches I did it on Elvis. Never ashamed to be an Elvis fan
A few weeks ago a customer actually had the nerve to say she didn't like the movie because it portrayed in a positive light. She also said "he was a horrible person". Was Elvis a saint? No! But damn lady. I've never wanted to punch a customer before until her. But I didn't want to lose my job or get arrested for assault.
ha ha, LOL!! I can just imagine how you felt. My first reaction would have been to say something really horrible about that person, but I would have lost my job for sure...
He was human. He had faults. He certainly loved his daughter and was a giving person. Priscilla said it best. He was part of Rock and Roll and all that came with that. I think that the circumstances of his passing were not fully understood. He had health problems that back in the 1970s were not as well understood with his heart and colon. He was in pain and had a lot of stress. He really needed to take time off and take care of himself but he got caught in a lifestyle and felt responsibility to a lot of people. I haven’t seen the Elvis movie. From videos and writings about Colonel Parker, it appears that man was hugely responsible for how things ended. Sure people say Elvis had to want to get help. But, look at the video of Charlie Hodge explaining Elvis’ medical problems. Elvis was quite ill unrelated to the medicines. The side effects didn’t help. Elvis was in no condition to be touring that last year of his life.
@@christineoneal666 And here is what Elvis didn’t do that alot of rock people and other entertainers did. He didn’t do street drugs nor was he an alcoholic. I don’t think he really ever got over the death of his mother. My dad lived to be 92 and I was 56 at the time. I was close to my dad because my mother died when I was 9. My dad became both parents. I dreaded his passing 45 years in advance. Just like Elvis, I had great respect for my father and what he endured and sacrifices he made for me and my brother. I miss my father every day.
I'm the same way, when I see people discovering Elvis ( young utubers and even black young Utubers) and their enjoyment and wanting to discover more. That smile doesn't go off my face! Because they are hooked!
That 68 comeback is one of the greats at his peak ..an showed a side of Elvis an his talent that was what he had way before Parker had him singing teddy bear .. that raw talent .. an his work from them days was so critically good ..
I am South African and 58 years old. I heard 'Peace in the valley" when I was 3. I have been a massive Elvis fan since. No one else put so much emotion into the songs. He inhabited every song.
If he would have got away from Col. He could have had such a choice of things he enjoyed doing! He was fantastic in that special! What an entertainer! No one has ever came close to his talent!❤❤❤
Thank you for your message today, I really enjoyed all of the good words said about OUR BELOVED ELVIS. I watch Joe Rogan he tells it like it is like it or not.
Back in the 60’s when the Beatle invasion hit, (I was around nine) all my girlfriends were crazy for them but I felt like an outsider because my main man was Elvis. Like you said, what’s not to like. While they were collecting Beatle albums I was collecting Elvis’ movie albums and I still have them.
LOL, me too!!! I was a teenager then, around 16 years old, and flatly refused to listen to their records or read anything about them, just on principle
I’ve been an Elvis fan all my life but it’s only when I started using the internet and obviously then RUclips that I discovered what being a fan was all about ! My collection of books and cd’s is never ending as the more I watch and learn about him the more I want 😊I can’t get enough of learning and hearing about Elvis so please never stop doing your channel because there will always be an Elvis fan waiting to watch it 😘x
Oh boy can I relate to this...I have loved Elvis since I was 12, in 1960, and bought all his records, magazines and books. Sadly left them all behind when I left my first husband who was an Elvis fan too. But I am now Amazon's biggest customer, making up for all those lost years. Books, CDs, DVDs...so much to read and listen to!!
This is a greaf example, Joe thought of thr charachateur of Elvis (as seen in the Karate video) but when educated why Elvis ended up the way he did he had more respect. Baz and Austin changed many a bad view of Elvis. I love seeing a missunderstood person being understood!
I’m so glad that Baz Lurhman took the unprecedented chance to write “ Elvis Finally the truth is spoken and his life was put in true prospective. Not the exaggerated lies that started in the late 1980’s by jealous uneducated people who twisted the truth and turned Elvis into a clown among the younger generation. By the way I’m a teenager of the Micheal Jackson “Thriller” time. Loved Michael but knew Elvis talent, accomplishments and humanity that were forgotten because of yes , the internet spreading these lies and only photos of Elvis overweight, addicted and singing to Don’t be Cruel dismissing all the others music and vocals. Thank you for this video. This brought a smile to my face and an ease in my heart. 😊
First let me say great clip with Joe and Rick 👏 You must have read my mind?! I never told anyone about being a fan..and I’ve got to say HUGE fan lol. When I was listening and rocking to Elvis my friends were listening to Led Zeppelin, Lynard Skynard, Pink Floyd etc. I love all music..but this guy Elvis 😅 I don’t know..first time I heard him..his voice and music just totally grabbed my heart and it hasn’t changed for me, in fact I believe it’s even stronger 🤍🕊🤍
Cherie, I also feel that I love Elvis even more than I did when I was a teenager and obsessed with him. Never thought back then I would be still be absolutely crazy about him at 75 years old!!
I feel the same way when ppl talk great about Elvis and love watching all these Younger generations finding out what music really is not this trash today.Elvis is not only the King of Rock And Roll He's the King of Music and I to get pissed when I hear someone say they don't like Elvis,He's in 5 Hall Of fames,,sang over 750 songs and sold over a billion and a half records and no one comes close,,He had it all and when He would sing some other Artists song He made it His own and was always better than the original.Paul Simon was homered and blown away by Elvis singing bridge over trouble water He thought it was way better than His version. There will never be anyone like Him again.I seen Him in 1974 I was in 4th grade and went with My Family and it was the best thing ever to this day.I LOVE Your CHANNELL and look forward to the next video,,GREAT STUFF,,HAVE A GREAT DAY LUKE FROM BOSTON MA
I grew up on Elvis Presley movies and it is wonderful bc I had Elvis as my ICON in the music and film progressive movie stars of Elvis Presley Fame.i am glad to know how much people really love this man.🌝💟💛🖤🧡💙🦁🐅❤👍💜⚡👑⭐🎉🙏🌈
I feel bad before I got my smartphone I used to think I was the only overstand I couldn't talk to anybody about him I mean my mom like them but not the way I do I'm a big fan and my family ain't Elvis band so I'm the onliest Elvis staying in my family so I always feel like I was the only one on the face of the Earth and it was kind of nice to know since I've been older there is other Elvis fans thank God you take care of Dave and God bless I love this
@ElvisistheMan _ hey curious have you heard the new or newer if you talk in your sleep remix? It's awesome. I'd send you the link, but I don't know how. It's awesome. I'd be cool if you could discuss it. I'll find out who it's from and get bk to you.
This time last year I probably new about 15 Elvis songs, now on my Spotify playlist I have 130 favourites! I watched the film then found the 68 special on RUclips so no going back now.❤😍
I'm 42, I watched the Elvis movie in February. I am now a massive fan and I was never a fan before. To me growing up, I just associated Elvis with his suits, being middle aged and his Vagas shows. I'm in the UK, and now realise he was everything. He inspired all other great musicians I love, he was held back massively and a major trend setter. I have been wrong about Elvis my whole life.
Im finding out the big Stars all like Elvis. but your comment about Kids liking Elvis while in High School hit home. I kept my enthusiasm for Elvis to myself, but would let some interest in his songs come out, but not too strongly. Again as you said " Being an elvis fan was not the In thing at the time". Other musicians and group did not have or hold my interest, but Elvis songs did ( All the 70's songs were Great for Elvis ). Itls not surprising the Ric flair is a huge Elvis fan His entranced into the ring was 2001 as was Elvis entrance
Yes ,just imagine for a boy at 18/ 19 ,without social media, internet etc, only records and radio( and some radio stations refused to play Elvis) , TV spots , Elvis became world famous. Truly a phenomenon, out of this world talent, looks movement, voice, charisma and a generous heart..An American dream come true intertwined with a Shakespearean tragedy. ELVIS///// LIVES
When I was a little girl my neighbor was @ Elvis’ last concert EVER! She called us from a pay phone & let us listen! It was so exciting! Then a few months later he was gone 😢❤! I was so sad.
I love this, have to check out that episode now!! You are so right about how important the impact of that movie is, too. Nitpicking about timelines and compete historical accuracy is silly to me, not only because it always had a rock opera gloss in the first place, but because it did such a good job setting the record straight. Also, some of the criticism--"It's too fastpaced and the editing is too crazy!"-- reminds me of the criticism Elvis himself got in the '50s, lol!
I think the 68 special showed his playful side. He really was so gorgeous in his leather outfit. Joe Rogan I believe had a photo of Elvis behind him when he had a different setup in the studio so he has been an Elvis fan.
It is amazing to see a fan keeping Elvis' memory alive!! I grew up in the south and became a fan at. a young age.........Really love seeing these reaction videos!! Thank you so much!!!!
I was born in 73. So he had passed away for awhile by the time I was a teenager. He had become a cartoon character in American Culture by that time. But I grew up on Elvis and it's pretty much all I ever listened to. And yes, as a teenager, I remember being self-conscience about being in a record store. Other kids were looking at Metallica, I was looking for Elvis. But it became something people remember me by now. Old friends tell me that they think of me everytime they see Elvis in pop culture. And these days, that means they think of me ALL THE TIME. ;)
People tell me the same thing. Pretty much nobody in my circle knows I have an Elvis channel, so they think of me when they see Elvis for reasons like your friends think of you.
I can relate to not having someone around who loves Elvis as much as I do. Places like this online are so great and I really appreciate what you do. ♥👏 Elvis and his music recently brought me out of a dark place after a 30 year marriage ending. When I met a new guy he was great ,but the clincher was when I found out that he was also a hard core Elvis fan! People who don't really "get" Elvis just think I'm a bit crazy. And that's fine with me!!
Great to be married to a fellow Elvis fan! My first husband was the president of our local fan club and I was Secretary, and we travelled to the States to see Elvis in concert. All good until the marriage broke up because he just got too full of himself, and started acting like he was as good as Elvis, screwing around. My second husband wasn't obsessed by Elvis, but he liked his music and movies, and funnily enough even though he didn't try, a lot of his friends said he looked a bit like Elvis🥰
I'm with you a 100% man. If you don't love dogs (grew up with German Shepards myself) and/or Elvis...then you're out of my book. Thank you for all the great coverage of the King!
Im glad people are respecting him more. People bully me mercilessly for loving his music and everything and try to bring up false controversy about him trying to make him look bad. Unless his family says anything different, don't believe what the internet or anyone tells you. As far as in concerned, he was a decent human being
First 2 megastars that come to my mind are Rudolph Valentino and Frank Sinatra. They both had that “Star Quality” kind of like Elvis. Only Elvis’ stardom revolved around the controversial “Rock n’ Roll”. He had such charisma that he just makes me tingle! He was so “pretty”, I mean beautiful features for a man. Lastly, he could sing like nobody’s business! Best voice I’ve ever heard! You (audience) should check out the “68’ comeback special” and the 1973 concert from Hawaii that was the first satellite telecast around the world and approximately a “Billion” people watched him live! I have learned to appreciate the man as I’ve grown older for his talent and superior showmanship. He passed at 42, but he continues to live in all of our hearts and minds”. RIP Elvis and thank You thank You very much!! Elvis has left the building! 😢😮😢❤❤
Wow, said it before, love your earnest, straightforward commentary and I am absolutely right there with you…if you don’t love dogs and you don’t love Elvis, I don’t understand you. Great piece!!
Hi David ♥ Fantastic!! I also love it when people in the public eye praise Elvis. I loved that they loved the movie and Austin Butler. Fantastic video David loved it thank you xxx 💝
My mother raised me on Elvis. She saw him in concert 5 times and every time she came home she would say...God sure was showing off when he created Elvis! I never went with her since I was a teenager and thought I was too cool to go to an Elvis concert. Yeah I know I was stupid! If only I could go back in time and do it over.
I love "Reaction Videos" of Elvis Presley especially when young people see him for the first time and are totally blown away by his voice, his talent, his charisma and of course his exceptional good looks. I've seen many people, especially the girls with these reaction channels, brought to tears witnessing Elvis's music and vocal performances, it's timeless. I'm not really a big fan of what the internet has done to our society as a whole but exposing Elvis to the world and especially younger generations through the internet is a true gift, Elvis and his music now lives on and always will! Your channel is one of the exceptional ones, thanks for passing it on!
Elvis in that '68 special - the most gorgeous man ever 🥵 😍 That Elvis movie has made me an avid fan, and I'm so grateful for that. (I love dogs and Elvis, and all animals, btw).
How Cares If Butler Didn’t Look Like Elvis. He Did A Fantastic Job Telling His Story. That’s What Counts. That Album Behind You On The Wall, February 1970 On Stage Is My Favorite Live Album Is Was Absolutely Perfection, His Vocals Though The Roof. The Tracks Wow! What A Great Album. I Enjoy Your Show. Another Is The Memphis Sessions Recorded At American Sound Studios In Memphis. Producer Chips Moman Was A Genius. I Own Both Of Those Original Albums. Again Thank So Much.
I have always loved Elvis and I always will. I'm proud and happy when others love him, but it doesn't matter. I will love him if I'm the only one in the world who does. I'm the only one in my world right now who does, but whatever. He's the greatest.
Bill Maher really likes Elvis too. He went to the Elvis birthday party in LA that Lisa and Warner Brother's gave on January 8th. She was on the front lawn at Graceland for the annual proclamation and huge birthday cake. She then flew back to LA for the party. Sadly died a few days later. Absolutely! If you don't like dogs and Elvis, there HAS got to be something wrong with you.
My brother and I are 10 years apart. Hearbreak Hotel was a favorite when I was 5, my bro 15. At 82 and 72 we still love lots of the same music. What a bro letting me listen to records and tag along. He's got 4 kids, 8 grandchildren still fun!
In 1995 my grandparent's got me an Elvis baseball hat when they went to Graceland when I was in fifth grade. It was black and white with a picture of him and his name in gold. I thought I was really cool wearing it and got a lot of compliments. It was the best when the 30 #1 hits came out, I listened to that CD everyday for at least a year. I think Elvis has always been cool. But yea a lot of haters from our generation were around too.
I got a little stick now and then from some kids for being a fan back in the 70s, but I never let that stop me from talking about the guy that gave me so much amazing entertainment and wonder...it's my duty. Seems most people are now understanding just how great and different the man was. Also, a lot of the stuff kids liked back then is now largely forgotten or considered naff, while Elvis is still relevant and as huge as ever. So I was right all along!🤣🤣 As for the comeback special, generally, there's not enough emphasis on other great moments from the show. I think the gospel production is amazing. Trouble opening, and of course, 'If I can dream' is the greatest live performance of all time... 68 is the greatest slice of tv entertainment of all time start to finish!..NOTHING beats that show. But yes totally agree, if you don't like dogs and Elvis, then in my eyes, you can't be trusted, or there is something wrong with you, and I am usually proved right! 😁😁
I agree with you about the 68 Special - there were so many great moments in that, not just the black leather bit, but lets face it, to anyone who didn't understand the attraction of Elvis after seeing that, must have been blind or had rocks in their head.
I’m a relatively new Elvis fan. I’m 58 years old. My mom used to crank his records all the way up and I couldn’t stand it. I thought his music was smultzy. I only remember seeing pictures of him when he wore those costumes. I remember when he died. I was 4 years older than Lisa Marie and I felt very sad for her. When she died, I started watching some videos and discovered just how great of a singer and entertainer Elvis was. I also didn’t appreciate Led Zepplin until about 6 months ago. I really didn’t pay attention to music until the 1980s. I enjoy watching the videos of Elvis. My favorite song of his is Unchained Melody. Then, American Trilogy. He had so many hits. The duet Lisa Marie did with him Where No One Stands Alone is beautiful. It’s sad how both their lives went. I have not seen the movie. I will. It certainly had the impact of introducing a lot of new people to his music because so many of his fans have passed on. Of course, I remember Michael Jackson more. Elvis was in a different league. Incredible.
Love your thoughts again. I always feel like I'm listening to myself. My mother and I shared a love of Elvis. When she passed there was a huge void, not just in that area. My sister can't stand Elvis. Yeah.... I now have my niece and one other person with whom I can share my enthusiasm of Elvis and, of course, on your great posts. If you love Elvis, you just HAVE to talk about him! Like you, I question what their problem is if they don't like Elvis and dogs.....just animals, period.
Yes good to hear positive remarks about Elvis instead of for whatever reason (we all have our theories) so many snide remarks through the years. The movie has put a lot of that straight and yes I would have made the movie different and more accurate but whether it would have made such an impact in getting people through the cinema doors is extremely doubtful as Baz seemed to know what the paying public wanted..
Finally bro we won! We have turned the tide for Elvis again, he is the coolest and people are talking about it again and not embarrassed. Elvis Presley 🇺🇸🌎 back on top of the world!!
I think so! Elvis is cool again! (He always has been, but ppl are now realizing it)
Elvis has always has been cool and will be eternally cool anybody who doesn’t love Elvis is uncool for life. He’s the King for a reason
Why should we be embarrassed to be Elvis fans. There is definitely nothing to be embarrassed about believe me on this.
Oh I believe u

Times have changed!
I have become a fan of Elvis as a result of watching the movie, and learning to play guitar as a result of that!
Elvis had the most incredible charisma how could you not like him? Elvis was the worlds first Superstar. He was born to be a legend and a Star!
This put a big smile on my face! Love to hear positive comments about Elvis! Thanks.
I think that moment of the Comeback is considered a first experiment. An unplugged ante littleram 😊
I hope Elvis realizes what's going on he thought he would be forgotten go to any country in the world and say Elvis they know who you're talking about
Hearing him say Elvis was a cool mofo made my face light up 💯
Somehow a lot of Elvisfans have felt alone with their love for him - including yours truely.
The movie was great for the early years, showed how busy they were and the crowds he was drawing
Always nice to see a message popping up, saying you've uploaded something new...Thank you for keeping us up to date..Keep up your great work.
Thanks man I’m glad u have notifications turned on!
@@ElvisRose_ great comment. I love what you say about not understanding, to absolutely getting why Elvis is special.
I loved Elvis, cried myself to sleep when he died I was only 8 years old.
Roc’s face just lit up when he was watching it!
Really well said!
Dude? You are awesome! You provide countless reasons to dig on Elvis every week, week in - week out, year after year.
Thanks man! He’s the best!
It’s definitely cool to see Elvis be brought up in a good light . I’ve been an Elvis fan since I was a kid . I’m 60 now and remember back when I was 14,15 or so my friends riding me because of it . They were listening to Zeppelin, The police , Styx and I was jamming to “Stranger in my own hometown”
Always great to see his immense talent and influence he had in the music industry being recognized and appreciated !
@@Kaybeautyfinds
Hi ,
I have had friends who never really listened to Elvis besides what everyone knows , hound dog and the “thank you , thank you very much” jokes when he was “fat Elvis” which they think was all of the 70’s but anyway I had them listen to songs from his ‘68 comeback or had them listen to his incredible band and his voice during aloha or songs they never heard him doing …My Babe , Never been to Spain , stranger in my own hometown. I remember telling them Elvis was so much more than hound dog and a 70’s caricature
Great clps of them appreciating our Elvis! I get just as excited as you when I listen to people talk about Elvis and how talented this guy was ! Really appreciated that ! Thanks 😊
I'm still smiling. Elvis lives!
Love hearing people talk about elvis and give different opinions thanks elvis the man
Elvis was and will always be the best, beautiful generous soul
Elvis Presley Rules Forever !!
@@Patracat I really had to bite my tongue.
@@Kaybeautyfinds I agree with you 100%
@@christineoneal666 And here is what Elvis didn’t do that alot of rock people and other entertainers did.
Can't stop greatness
This channel is awesome, I'm glad Elvis spirit lives on
I am South African and 58 years old.
I have told people many! many times! If you don't like Elvis! Your not American!
Silly comment? It's because he never played out of the States! But yes all over the World! Get with it! @@peejpeej693
@@Patracat Ahh, that’s sweet and I certainly relate..he’ll be with me forever!
There will never be anyone like Him again.I seen Him in 1974 I was in 4th grade and went with My Family and it was the best thing ever to this day.I LOVE Your CHANNELL and look forward to the next video,,GREAT STUFF,,HAVE A GREAT DAY

I’m happy to hear u love my channel and Elvis is the Man! A lot of young people like him and more so because of the Elvis Movie.
I grew up on Elvis Presley movies and it is wonderful bc I had Elvis as my ICON in the music and film progressive movie stars of Elvis Presley Fame.i am glad to know how much people really love this man.🌝💟💛🖤🧡💙🦁🐅❤👍💜⚡👑⭐🎉🙏🌈
I feel bad before I got my smartphone I used to think I was the only overstand I couldn't talk to anybody about him I mean my mom like them but not the way I do I'm a big fan and my family ain't Elvis band so I'm the onliest Elvis staying in my family so I always feel like I was the only one on the face of the Earth and it was kind of nice to know since I've been older there is other Elvis fans thank God you take care of Dave and God bless I love this
In his own right Elvis made yet another comeback. Seems like hes big again like he's still here. It's so cool! Your channel is so awesome
I’m happy to hear u like it and yeah he really did make a comeback. Ric and Joe were just fawning over him in this vid.
@ElvisistheMan _ yeah, we just need some new footage to be released, maybe a concert and a new released song we've never heard before. Lol.
I watched the film then found the 68 special on RUclips so no going back now.❤😍
130 songs? Wait until you hear the other 570!!
@@Patracat I’ll get there!
@@jill954 LOL I am sure you will! I was just teasing🙂
Come to England in November and join us for Elvis week in Hemsby in Norfolk. We have a blast with our Elvis family. You’d love it
I'm 42, I watched the Elvis movie in February.
There's so much for you to discover...enjoy!
Love it! ♥️ ELVIS the GOAT and the world knows it! And yes Elvis and my dog are literally my 2 biggest loves ⚡️🐾
You’re welcome man. I have two German Shepherd‘s and love them!
@@ElvisistheMan_ I saw that video. It reminded me of my youth. My all time favorite dogs...but man do they shed hair. :)
Haha yeah that do! They’re a tuff, loving, powerful breed.
I also had a German Shepherd, she lived for 9 years and was the most loving dog we ever had.
Im glad people are respecting him more. People bully me mercilessly for loving his music and everything and try to bring up false controversy about him trying to make him look bad. Unless his family says anything different, don't believe what the internet or anyone tells you. As far as in concerned, he was a decent human being
He was a good man! Stay strong. You’re not the only one LOL
Elvis invented cool! I'm always so proud when Elvis is appreciated.
I appreciate your kind words! Elvis is the man 👍🏻

I met Ric a few years back an awesome and amazingly nice person besides Elvis Ric is another heroes! Thanks man for sharing! ⚡ TCB ⚡
Aww that’s too bad!
The first super star and still the biggest
How can someone not love this great human being? I wonder‼️

Thanks brother, I grew up a big fan of Elvis and Ric flair. as you know both walked to the stage with the same music, 2001, space Odyssey, theme song!
I knew who elvis was when I was 5 when elvis died. I didn't know anything else

One of the greats in the wrestling world I think Elvis would have loved ric flair this is so cool Ty for always sharing elvis with us fans😁🇨🇦🇨🇦
I like watching the interview with Martin Sheen talking about Elvis.
Thank u for being a Big ELVIS fan. I always enjoy ur Videos! 😊
😉
Elvis in that '68 special - the most gorgeous man ever 🥵 😍
That Elvis movie has made me an avid fan, and I'm so grateful for that.
Yeah- that was fun! Totally agree- Elvis and dogs!
“It’s like a darth vader helmet” 🥴🥴 you could hear a needle drop when he Said that, even Rogan rolled his eyes.
He’s stupid. Just looking for a cheap laugh…
Absolutely loved this clip!
I have always loved Elvis and I always will. I'm proud and happy when others love him, but it doesn't matter. I will love him if I'm the only one in the world who does. I'm the only one in my world right now who does, but whatever. He's the greatest.
Got 4 Boxer dogs and been an Elvis fan for 50yrs...TCB
Growing up on Long Island and going to High School in the late 1980s, my car's license plate was ELVIS P1 ..
My dogs love Elvis!😉👍🥰
So I was right all along!🤣🤣
As for the comeback special, generally, there's not enough emphasis on other great moments from the show.
Love Elvis
