- This is Amol's first mock test, He has a license in India and is now looking to do his UK driving test.
The main purpose of this mock test is for Amol to be able to get a feeling for the actual test and for us to iron out any faults.
In the video the text colour would mean:
GREEN: GOOD POINTS
AMBER: ADVISORY AND MINOR FAULTS
RED: SERIOUS AND DANGEROUS FAULTS

I passed mine today, but it was my second go, i guess the main thing is not to panic and dont take your eyes of the road, like dont look down when changing gears and focus on the road rather than on other things. Also if u want the examiner to repeat the direction don’t hesitate, just ask, also when driving don’t try to look at what the examiner is writing, and if you think you have made a mistake, don’t think it will be serious, because many people think they got a serious for a mistake which was a minor and then they just give up and start making more mistakes, so dont try looking at the sheet, because with marking your driving faults they also write other things as well for the feedback at the end... hope this helps 👍🙂

I passed mine today had 6 minors (not so bad 😊) had 30 lessons ,this was my second time as first time I went without any lessons with an instructor just with my dad and bf and I thought at that time my driving was perfect lol so better take proper lessons guys 😁 also watched a lot of your videos and they are really helpful 👍
I enjoy watching this instructor, he’s very good. I’ve my test on the 10th of November hopefully I can pass 2nd time round 😊

What? Fail? Something wrong with how the assessment is carried out. That's how we drive in India. Others have to worry about their safety, not the driver! And what the hell is this checking mirror before signalling? We don't do that here.

Passed my driving test on July 25th 1977. I watch these videos because I want to stay a good driver.
The test in 1977 was 10 times easier, theory test is so hard Today

"Epic fail" is a bit clickbaity. He mostly drove well, but I think thiis goes to show how easy it is to clock up mistakes if you switch off. I take issue with the first three majors, though. Undue hesitation counts as one minor per incident, not one per missed chance. Most drivers err on the side of avoiding bus lanes, whatever the time of operation. It is good practice to use the leftmost lane, but it is not compulsory, and he was in no way responsible for the other drivers' decision to break the law by undertaking! And forgetting to cancel a signal is a minor.
The part where he broke the speed limit, zoomed through a roundabout and totally rammed a speed-bump... wow. I think that just goes to show that when you've been under pressure for a while, you can totally lose the plot!
Hesitating for that long period of time is holding up the traffic behind you for unnecessary amount of time. Leaving your indicators on can be a minor if for example you turn left and forget to switch it off for a second or two but he kept it on for a long period of time which could of caused confusion for others drivers and he never picked up on it himself and finally the reason why being in the right lane was bad wasn’t because of drivers overtaking it’s because that lane is mainly used for overtaking so for any road with two lanes you must always come over to the right unless it’s more dangerous to do so
a bit mean, yes. "Unfortunate Fail" may have been more apt and kind
7 major mistakes and 17 minors is definitely an epic fail 🤣

Think it would only be a serious if there was a road user there at the time and he caused a problem for them but there no one there
@@TK-cs1qc I think they'd fail you straight away if you pulled onto a road without looking both ways. That's how people get killed.

Mitchell C use of speed; there was a cat eating fish and Chips in the middle of a one way street and I went by too slowly
Great video, I understand editing takes time but sometimes voice overs which explain a error in more detail is a good thing and I think it will help more people out.

As I was watching through this mock test the assessor never realised that he didn’t do an all round check when moving off from when he instructed him to find a safe place and park. Also he never checked his left or right mirror before indicating left or right it was after he indicated which would result in a minor... just something I feel should be brought to his attention to avoid unnecessary minors given in real test the assessor did start to pick up on it after a while but not straight away

Perfect example of why you don’t rush your lessons to pass quick always take your time and accept if it takes you 30 hours or more to pass as a lot of people seem to think they are ready in 10 hours also my test is today! I am quite nervous but I know I’m ready I just need to concentrate on driving rather than the fact I’m in a test

Hes a previous driver just had a 2yr gap, but he still needs more practice as he misses so many mirrors and indicators and such. Im on 10hrs and i drive better lol! Doing test at 24 (coz i had other lessons in auto so makes 29hrs) and i know i will pass that. Just need to get my hazard perception done tomorrow (13th nov) 2nd attempt at it i see hazards too early apparently lol!

Finally I passed my test today for the first time after intense training with my cool and friendly instructor and watching a lot of videos and knowing what to do & what not to do. Thanks a lot "Drive London" for all these videos which helped me passing.

If there are traffic calming measures (speed bumps) it is 20mph unless stated otherwise.

34:50 can someone please explain why you're allowed to use that Bus lane? Is it outside its time of operation i can see a bus just ahead using the lane?
Times of operation are just times where ONLY buses can use that lane, at any other time cars and buses can also use that lane.
Hi. Just found your channel recently and loving the content. Does this A class have some sort of hill start assist? I ask because I noticed hardly any learners use the handbrake when moving off in the vehicle and I was unsure whether thats because of its unusual position to the bottom right of the steering wheel or whether its due to the fact you have an assist system in place. Cheers!
For a hill start, leave your foot on the brake and bring the clutch up to the same level of the brake, you’ll hear the engine start to rumble a bit, then take your foot off the brake and the car will roll forwards instead of back
0000 I'm familiar with clutch control during hill starts however most learners will not have this level of clutch control which is why I presumed the car would have a hill start assist
@@etmonasr3511 I would actually think that they have that clutch control since they are taking this mock test to pass a real driving test. I, who only have been driving for almost 5 days, I can do that type of hill start, but that is just me, I don't know about the other drivers.

Why does all vid have standard transmission?
taking your driving test with manual allow you to drive automatic aswell, if you do only automatic then you can't drive manual.

I know its mostly 20mph at start, but he should of gone into 3rd gear atleast. Riding 2nd is not ideal at all.

Hes a driver just goes to show that even experienced drivers make mistakes. I suppose I understand why drivers could get banned and they have to retake their practical.
