"Earth defenders never surrender!" is my favorite zany phrase to say before I lose in games. Thanks Megaforce for your contributions to my comedic arsenal for almost a decade now.
Linkara mentioning how they missed the opportunity to mention that earth fought of multiple invasions and are definitely not weak made me think of a unique main villain motivation Earth has gotten a reputation for fighting off countless threats to the point that being able to destroy them would grant huge bragging rights
Kinda like in PowerPuff Girls, where apparently among monsters it's considered major bragging rights to claim you survived a fight against the Powerpuff Girls
I actually love this idea now. "Wait you're telling me Earth has defenders that has taken down multiple threats?? Then they must be the one....." It reminds me of Kraven from Insomniac Spider Man 2. A guy who wants to go out with a bang that he goes into a unfamiliar city just so he can find someone to fight to the death while also dealing with a deadly illness.
"Using cards to transform into past Rangers". Well, too bad Super Sentai's parent company has already used that idea for another franchise on a much better anniversary season.

@@byakuyan8117 before samurai and Megaforce came to existence people had a higher standard for power rangers and operation overdrive didn't meet that standard and after samurai and Megaforce came to existence people starts to like operation overdrive again If I remember correctly people didn't like operation overdrive because of it's name saying it doesn't roll of the tongue well, the suit looks pretty terrible with its white colour, some characters lack writing and the plot failed to be what's its trying to be But yeah looking back it wasn't that bad
I agree with your idea of a 'Power Rangers museum.' During the events of Megaforce, it could be a secondary hang-out space, and also for them to learn more about the Power Rangers of the past. (mainly the past, since stuff like time force and rpm haven't happened yet) But once SUPER Mega kicks in, they starting using the museum to learn more about the ranger powers, add new entries from later dates, hell, they could've even teased Dino Charge a little by referencing them via suits and keys!
I like the idea of a fan of the Power Rangers helping them a bit more, though. Both because it leads into a great intro into Silver, or Gai Ikari, in Gokaiger being an avid fan of the Sentai, and because it allows for more natural exposition. Imagine if instead of the clips being shown, we see drawings of certain scenes by our Ikari stand-in. Like part of the final fight in Samurai for the Samurai episode, or of various teams' parts in Forever Red for teams not actually from their time period, or in other dimensions.
No, technically Time Force *DID* happen, it took place in 2001. RPM also happened, since this is after Samurai, though if it's finished by that point, we don't know. So both would be viable during the first season.
Honestly i think it would work better if Gosei was someone who study the teachings of Zordon instead of being his protege. That way we don't have to think about where he was during the previous seasons.
That I can agree. At least then it'll explain WHY Gosei doesn't know Countdown to Destruction (though it would be nice if even Gosei knows about that).
I hate adding super on the end of the shows. It's just so dumb. It's a uneeded addition to the show name and makes keeping track of it and stuff for it harder. Imagine if anytime the rangers got a power up they had to add Super to the name. Like Super Dino Thunder, Super SPD etc it's dumb.
@@chendror872 And here’s the big kicker… in two and a half shows, Hasbro has managed to make a much more tighter and cohesive vision of the Power Rangers universe (with everything from returning characters to mentioning past events to even following up on old plot lines) then the entirety of the Disney and Neo-Saban era. Hasbro knows what the hell they’re doing
"A single year can alter the landscape of what people are talking about, what people are watching and listening to, what they'll feel nostalgic for..." YE DON'T SAY!!!
22:52 For what it’s worth, they were actually called bugs in Goseiger despite them looking much more like Bats. I can’t really blame the writers in this instance.
Thinking about it a way that could’ve helped the show was had they negotiated with Nick to make each season 26 episodes (which seems to be the maximum they allow) rather than sticking with 20 for each. By giving each season 26 episodes they could somewhat reasonably adapt each sentai better with more breathing room and give more room for tribute episodes. Plus with more epsiodes Gosei’s upgrades wouldn’t feel as random. Also instead of acting like the two unrelated Sentai are connected I’d do what you suggested and have the powers get destroyed in the first season finale necessitating new ones. Making it a new beginning not an upgrade. To add to that instead of “Super Megaforce” call the Gokaiger segment “Legacy Force” that would denote to the audience it’s connected to Megaforce but not the same as it was before, unlike how Samurai and Super Samurai were two halves of a whole
"You've got a large audience of kids who are still getting used to the idea of new protagonists; I've heard many anecdotes of parents of very confused kids, asking why the Samurai Rangers aren't around any more if this is Power Rangers". That may be the single most relatable thing I've heard on HoPR. I remember as an 8 year old, I refused to watch Ninja Storm simply because it wasn't Wild Force, the team that had got me into Power Rangers the previous year. I've wondered ever since then how many kids bother sticking with Power Rangers after their introductory team is rotated out.
In the uk we got episodes sporadically after zero. So I watched the turbo movie on vhs and the next episode I saw was the introduction to storm blaster and lightning cruiser with a whole new cast! I didn’t know what was going on!
I had a buffer by getting 3 different versions of the Rangers on video. A Lightspeed Rescue tape, a Time Force tape, and Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie. The beginning advertisement that showcased the Power Rangers tapes available also showed me how many teams there were. It made the whole "changing team" thing easier to swallow
@@game84cube I had a similar experience. The first episode of Dino Thunder on dvd, and a Ninja Storm tape. Still two of my favorite seasons. If only for the nostalgia
As a kid I understood that every season was gonna have a new cast of characters especially after In Space and followed every season. I mean it’s not that hard to figure out that once their main villain is defeated their job is done
Ya know, it's funny to think how this team was called Megaforce when In Space was based off Megaranger, to the point where even In Space still referred to a lot of their things with Mega.
A telling line from Ciara Hanna: She and other actors pushed for more mature storylines only to be told by producers "our audience is five years old." She praised Dino Charge and seemed to like being a Ranger, just disliked how this season turned out.
This is why I don't blame the actors in Megaforce and Super Megaforce. All of them are aware on what improvement/s should be done, and they inform the higher ups about it. I blame Nickelodeon and Tzachor on those fiaco.
Linkara: Hell even other children's shows are capable of that in half an episode's time, ten minutes to tell an emotionally engaging story while also containing action. Pearl: *yelling at Steven and Connie after sword fighting* WHY WON'T YOU JUST LET ME DO THIS FOR YOU, ROSE!!!
Your talk about how fast we consume pop culture might be why so many past events are ignored in Power Rangers. Like “oh you still care about Astronama’s attack on Earth in 98? You’re stuck in the past boomer!”
Actually, that "callback to previous seasons" joke with the class could also technically apply to Lost Galaxy, whose main villains were insects as well. Also, the answers of Insects and Robots are subtle hints to Megaforce itself, with Insects being the main villains of the team and our Red Ranger being a robot
Here's how I would fix Megaforce: 1. Make the villain factions different divisions of what I'm calling the Zangyak Empire. The Demonic Insectoids, led by Admiral Malkor and Colonel Creepox, The Evil Mut-Orgs, led by Biggs and Bleufur, and The Fearbots, led by Commander Metal Alice, all under the control of Crown Prince Vrak. 2. Jordan should become a ranger in the last few episodes of the first season, before the big climax, piloting the Crane Mechazord that was used in Goseiger but sadly never used in Megaforce. 3. The boys in this better version get switched around mid-series. Jordan becomes the Red Ranger, Troy becomes the Blue Ranger and Noah becomes the Green Ranger. This would match up better with stock footage, because I really can't see Gosei Black goofing off. 4. Jake eventually comes back as the Silver Ranger.
I actually made a megaforce green of my own. So basically he's megaforce blues brother. He dies on the last episode of s2. And his name was Jordan as well. Any changes
Here's another one you could add, drop the Gokaiger suits except for the Silver suit and when they do their tribute episodes they wear the armor with the heads of the past ranger's zords and use their weapons.
Wouldn't Creepox be a captain? And why stop at him, add Targate and Crisolar to the mix as well, though while Crisolar's name can probably stay the same, Targate definitely nees something different for how serious of a monster he's supposed to be. One good name I saw was Teleportal, still a bit goofy but not as goofy.
In defense of the show, the reason future teams such as SPD and Time Force are there are most likely because they both traveled back in time to before MegaForce where Gosei to see them. For RPM it could be because the red RPM ranger traveled to the dimension and he left an imprint on the morphing grid where Gosei could see it and the other RPM rangers, of course that is just a theory.
@@plantainsame2049isn’t an entity, a biological energy field that exists everywhere, so it would likely just bring them itself because it’s impartial and can only be good or evil when used for such, the rangers are just the only ones to use the grid for the most part
Tbh, I think that the issue is that this is too much like MMPR and ignores the way the franchise has evolved since then. The first season of MMPR also had a lot of characters getting new powerups for no reason and random teleportation
They could have also brought back Tommy as the teacher, that might be cliche and fans might get annoyed after seeing him already a teacher in Dino Thunder, but it would have been cool to see an old ranger come back to teach this new team
Thinking about they could've called the zords, Spirit Zords made from the spirit of the earth and a connection to Wild Force but that's an idea 9 years after the fact
I remember when this was uploaded originally, and I remember enjoying watching it. Shame you still have so many issues keeping these episodes up in spite of following the guidelines. Thank you for keeping this labour of love going. I really do hope that coming Power Rangers series are more interesting than Megaforce was. Low bar, but as the last couple of years have shown one really can’t take things for granted.

I can only hope that Hasbro handles the 30th anniversary better, like if it's still in Dino Fury or the series after that it'd be great to focus on the children of some of the past Rangers, from pre Disney, not the entire team but imagine Jason's daughter being a ranger or Eric and Taylor's kid, realistically, they could be teenagers at that point, and maybe do what Dino Thunder did and have a past Ranger as the mentor like maybe Billy

Thanks for the reupload. I know is disheartening to have this series been chop and censored more to keep up with the RUclips law to evade copyright strikes. So the most sincere thanks again. Hope that you have a nice one and keep it safe
Putting Super or Extreme in front of the title, doesn't add anything to the show. Previous seasons never had that. Mighty Morphin never had that, Turbo never had that, In Space never had that. It just feels really phoned in, as though they're pandering to kids. Thankfully Hasbro hasn't gone that route.
Megaforce should have been a straight up sequel to MMPR. Like, should've take place in Angel Grove, the headquarters should've been just the original Power Chamber rebuilt, make the mentor, I dunno, Alpha? Andros? Hailey? There's a lot of people who could've taken that role. Make Ernie Ernie's descendant. Not really sure about the villains, but maybe something like, the alliance of evil has been able to rebuild itself after all this time and is ready for revenge. Master Vile can be leading it, I don't think they ever took care of him. The second batch of enemies could be a new Machine Empire, and if they're still gunning for a Gokaiger merger, one of their members could be Divatox's son/fanboy/sucessor (it will also be a perfect way to show how far Power Rangers has come, from having their villain be poorly dubbed to actually having the actor himself show up for the american footage). It helps that Goseiger is partially based off of _Zyuranger and Dairanger! What the_ hell _are you doing Saban?!_
They really should have saved bringing back bulk for megaforce they could have even kept spike and just have bulk teaching him the way of the power ranger instead of the samurai and yes use that him running ernies idea. It all in all would have been a more fitting use of the character.
Also to add. Or when Gosei's mentor's arch enemy witch reawakened and attempted to take over the world. Or when that witch's boss and later husband decided to take over, or when her dad decided to do something about them failing, or when the Machine Empire decided to try to invade Earth and kicked the previous guys out. Or when an irritating incompetent Pirate decided to take over the world for some reason.
The original ernie had an impact on the rangers cause there was times he indirectly helped them. He was a character to remember . This Ernie really didn't make sense.
The location of the command centre has the strongest connection to the morphing grid on the planet, so the Ranger Powers stored there with the Ranger Keys will never diminish over time. That’s just something I thought of that could be added to Linkara’s idea of it being a storage location for the Ranger Keys and why that specific location was chosen.
... The symbology as i see it with the Megaforce Morphers goes something like this: To stop being their own inadequet selves they choose/get chosen a generic/artificial self to become (the cards), who are then literally consumed by the face representing the conflict (The morphers).
Okay that is hilarious, but the question was what species will outlive all others. So Troy did actually heard the question and didn't answer wrong. Edit. I feel dirty defending Megaforce.
The sentai is based on Angels The Mentor that gives those powers is a pupil of Zordon. The cast are teenagers. If there was ever a time to go back to Angel Grove this was it.
How is it every time I find myself rewatching a random HOPR, Linkara always posts a HOPR video (whether new or a re-upload) and here I am, diving into the whole series again. And as far as Mega Force.....god, what a classic fuck up of a series

@@Elyanley I don’t think Hasbro was behind it, mostly because their mentality when it comes to fan content is “let the fans have their fun, and if they do something epic give them their own freaking Transformer character!”
Ok, not going to reuse the same comment from the original video so I'll just give my two cents comparing this to Beast Morphers. While Beast Morphers isn't as grand as In Space it at least shows that Hasbro cares enough to put actual effort into the writing of the show and at least when it uses nostalgic imagery and callbacks to previous seasons theres's actual narrative purpose to that unlike Megafarce which just brings up old Rangers to say a few things, give no passing the torch moments and when the show isn't doing that its dragging Goseiger and Gokaiger though the dirt. But yeah after 4 sessions of the Neo Saban era drunkenly stumbling about it's good to see Power Rangers start to get back on track and hopefully Dino Fury will keep that momentum going. Oh and also Hasbro FINALLY STOPPED WITH THE CONSTANT FART JOKES!!! Had to get that off my chest, anyway may the Power protect us all.
(SPOILERS FOR BEAST MORPHERS!) The biggest proof that Hasbro has more respect for Power Rangers then the Neo-Saban era had has to be with the reveal that Evox is Venjix. When Beast Morphers started I joking theorized that the two were related, but then I moved into my own place and wasn’t able to keep watching the series. So imagine my surprise when just last month I learned about that big twist… and my jaw hit the floor! Hasbro took one look at RPM’s twist ending and embraced the JonTron meme by saying “I can make this work!” And they did, and it was awesome!
The funniest thing about MegaForce is that I actually liked both Vrak and Vekar. Vrak was the competent rival to the Rangers, and Vekar was, well, just comic relief. I would have liked to see both together onscreen to better show the (Probably toxic) family dynamic, especially since Warz Gill and Brajira just so happen to look like they're from the same species so it would even look right, but Sentai footage says no.
Linkara "That other invasion of demons from a netherworld that wanted to merge our world with theirs" Mr "I didn't know Power Ranger had a cross over with Mortal Kombat!
You know that the fans care more about the show than the show itself when we create ideas and concepts (that are always awesome) and the show, gives us nothing
Come to think of it, Goseiger still could have been a very good adaptation for the anniversary. Given the motiff they could have said that these powers were another backup plan by Zordon and then save the grand concept from Gokaiger for later
I actually like some of the elements of Megaforce. The costumes are great. The card idea was kind of fun and new. The Zord being these totem heads was kind of cool, and I like that the Zords (and Rangers) have this “land, sea, sky,” theme rather than elements like previous Ranger teams had. Now the Rangers THEMSELVES could’ve been interesting . . .
Not to play Giritina's advocate here, especially because Megaforce really isn't that good and it has a lot of problems with it, but: 10:19-10:54: Given Zordan as on earth for 10000 years he was probably keeping track of all the ancient enemies and the like of Earth, I wouldn't put it past him given all his extensive backup plans. So when it comes to things like the Demons, the Orgs, Lothor, the Master, those seeking the Corona Arora, Daishi, and the Nilock, he probably knew about the organizations or people that were specifically training to deal with them, thus Gosei wouldn't need to intervene in those battles unless the heroes lost. The only exceptions are Countdown to Destruction, Ransik, and Messaga, for the latter two they were relatively new threats that did not exist before Zordan's death, but Messaga was very localized and didn't branch out enough to be a threat to the whole world, Ranski was the same until the end when the Time Holes opened and then at that point Gosei should have awakened. He also defiantly should have helped during Countdown to Destruction given how big that invasion was. 18:38-18:47: To be fair, these guys are not the first Ranger Team to never change clothes, there have been other teams that each only seemed to have no other outfits. Now some have legitimate reasons, like how the Space Rangers, SPD, Mystic Force, Overdrive, or RPM all have uniforms they wear a lot when in the base and on duty, but they do have civilian clothes they do put on sometimes. The Time Force Team, while only having one outfit each it's kind of understandable given they came from the future and didn't bring much with them so they only have one set of clothes each. However, there are other teams where it doesn't really make much sense: Lightspeed Rescue, Wild Force, and half of the Lost Galaxy team. For Lightspeed and Wild Force they both have team jackets, but what they wear underneath the jackets can be anything they want, but both teams always wear the same outfits underneath the jackets. As for Lost Galaxy, while Kai, Damon, Kendrix, and Mike all have the excuse of wearing Terra Venture uniforms, Maya and Karon don't wear uniforms, and after Mike returns Leo stops wear his uniform for one civilian outfit that wears all the time, heck both Leo and Karon were still wearing those outfits in Legendary Battle at the end of Megaforce, it been 14 years and they haven't thought of changing them.
Well, with Beast Morphers done, without spoiling it for you, I personally think the Hasbro era is off to a good start so far. Not sure what to think of Dino Fury yet, but I'm waiting for the episodes to be posted online since Nickelodeon is INSISTENT on airing new episodes early in the frickin' morning. Up yours, Nickelodeon! Up yours! Anyway, yes, I agree that Megaforce was a mess, but the two main causes of said mess are Nickelodeon for their STUPID contract restrictions and Jonathan Tzachor for adding Sentai exclusive suits with little to no explanation. I enjoyed the finale for what it was, but I DO think there should've been more than that. If the Armada's air forces weren't destroyed early, we could've seen some past Megazords fight them while some of the other past Rangers (along with the Megaforce team) dealt with the ground assault. That would've at least made the battle itself a bit more better, don't you think?
I personally do not mind when the Japanese lettering and signage makes its way into the North American show. Every time Jason made his power crystal for the megazord. He would pull his power coin out of a morpher that did not say Power Rangers on it. It said "zyuranger" on the top and "kyōryū sentai" on the bottom... To me they are all fun little shout outs
I think they should of pulled a zeo when they transitioned from the goseiger to the gokaiger suits by having them loose the goseiger powers and have some random event happen where they get the new morphers and powers. In an episode near the end of the first season they even have their morphers damaged which would of been perfect for that scenario to happen.
Which is why I maintain they should adapt shattered grid because that story was really awesome and badass and did the power rangers justice way more then this season
@@doggosho3044 true but i have a loophole why not make a animated series that way it won't cost to much and you could pull it off amazingly and boom problem solved everybody wins.
In Hs, I would wake up at 6:30 am, get to school by 8, have sports practice until 6 pm, then I’d have 6-8 hours of homework a night. EIGHT. HOURS. So I only ever got 4-6 hours of sleep per night. Yeah, I would absolutely never describe myself as energetic.
I have a lot of issues with this season. Like I dislike how the villains are just "let's take this planet" as if this is the first time we've been here. Wouldn't it have been more interesting if the villains this time were targeting Earth? Like say, they were a faction allied with the United Alliance of Evil, Dark Specter, or just members of Zedd's old empire and sought out Earth for revenge. Maybe the enemy is after this planet's link to the Morphing Grid so they can access the same power that has defeated their like so often before. Or maybe these guys are space conquers who stumble upon Earth not realizing THIS is the planet of legend! The planet protected by the Power Rangers... so they must call for reinforcements from their true leader (cue foreshadow for Super Megaforce)
I've got a simple question. If they didn't want to set this in Angel Grove. Why not set it in Stone Canyon instead (Update. And here's an idea for a retcon to show that Gosei helped past ranger teams. Say that HE used some of his strength to restore the Mystic Force rangers powers. And helped the Sentinel Knight to restore the powers of several other Rangers. Which caused him to enter a deep slumber)
I see that this is being reuploaded so cool. Though... a part of me still thinks this: "It is so awkward to be 2 days older than the first episode of Power Rangers' premier! 😓"
I've been rethinking Overdrive and Mega Force since I never saw them and only saw them through this retrospective and am I the only one who thinks those 2 seasons would work better if they were kids....I mean the Blue Ranger in Turbo was a kid. Imagine a Power Rangers team that function like the Shazam family in the recent DC movies and comics....
This video might get deleted again but screw it. Compressing a 50 episode show into a 20 episode one could be done, though I wonder if there's a rule in the contract stating that PR must adapt most if not all powerups and zords from sentai (plus who would pass the opportunity to sell more merchandise if the design already exists?) Summer movie toys are usually skipped, which is baffling why PR adapted that pointless train episode when it's only used once in Megaforce anyways. This is a more super megaforce thing, but (assuming they use minimal sentai footage) 20 episodes is not enough to make tribute episodes to all PR seasons prior to Megaforce without being rushed (and that doesn't even count dedicating episodes for the main plot itself)
Figures. Saban buys Power Rangers back from Disney, yet the first two series of the “Neo-Saban” era decided to recreate the Mickey Mouse Club roll call
Y'know, if they really wanted to do an anniversary season, why not one about why Earth and humans are so dang important. Seriously, one planet has dozens of teams, hundreds of zords, and countless Macguffins of Ultimate Power: The Energems, the Corona Auroroa, the Zeo Crystal. Maybe reveal that Earth is the one point in the universe where the Morphin Grid can be easily accessed and that's why so much stuff is drawn here.
Maybe there was a certain point in the future where Zordon could "see" said future, and he used that knowledge to plan ahead. (possibly due to that time warp he was trapped in.)
Speaking from experience I was 12 when power rangers Megaforce aired even as a 12-year-old I hated it power rangers samurai got me back in the franchise but Megaforce almost killed my love for power rangers
Fun fact gosei isn't zordon's student it's just a weird shaoshifting idiot who likes to cause terrible deeds to the planet and I think the aliens just wanted to form a friendship connection and the mega rangers just attacked them causing war and in the final battle gosei mind controlled all the other rangers to make it look like the mega rangers are good
I've just realised, the morphers have Gosie's face on them, which is fairly egotistical for a giant Tikki head that's in a wall, assuming that Gosie designed them?
Troy were on the rooftop and tried to hit a water bottle. Tommy Wiseau hit a water bottle on a rooftop. Oh, oh... Tommy Wiseau exists in the Power Rangers universe. Now it is confirmed. Troy needed to say: "I tried to hit her. I did NOT!" 🤣👍

I agree with your idea of a 'Power Rangers museum.'
During the events of Megaforce, it could be a secondary hang-out space, and also for them to learn more about the Power Rangers of the past. (mainly the past, since stuff like time force and rpm haven't happened yet) But once SUPER Mega kicks in, they starting using the museum to learn more about the ranger powers, add new entries from later dates, hell, they could've even teased Dino Charge a little by referencing them via suits and keys!
Proof that us fans give more than the show itself: this comment and the awesome concept in it
I like the idea of a fan of the Power Rangers helping them a bit more, though.

I didn’t know what was going on!
i cant remember which seasons exactly i watched as a kid but i do remember being VERY confused as to where tf the casts were going lmao

@@bobbyshaddoe3004 super late, but
ah, so no one is allowed to enjoy the show
Here's how I would fix Megaforce:
Any changes
Or check out the fanfics on Megaforce. Some are better than the source material. B)
Here's another one you could add, drop the Gokaiger suits except for the Silver suit and when they do their tribute episodes they wear the armor with the heads of the past ranger's zords and use their weapons.
Why do us fans care more about the season than the show. This Concept. It's epic
I actually like hearing your head canon more than the actual show lol love these vids
Or the Morphin Grid decided to bring them there.
I don't know anything about Power Rangers but wouldn't it be easier just that this morphing grid thing be a multi-dimensional entity

Megaforce tries really hard to be like MMPR, the problem is that it's a new generation and era so it's history now.
And that's only the first EPISODE.
@@estebangutierrez160 An MMPR tribute isn't bad, and even then, MMPR got better by the time of Green with Evil.
I wouldn't say to this extent though because back in those early seasons they kind of held back on the number of Zords they had.
To be fair on MMPR that was the first time they did this not counting the failed Bioman pilot.
For some reason Megaforce was the first series that really hit me with how it was used to sell toys. The morphers with the cards specifically.

@@nine_tails137 It's just a joke that Linkara made about how the title "Super Mega Force" sounds stupid.
Megaforce should have been a straight up sequel to MMPR.

(SPOILERS FOR BEAST MORPHERS!)
The biggest proof that Hasbro has more respect for Power Rangers then the Neo-Saban era had has to be with the reveal that Evox is Venjix.

I would have liked to see both together onscreen to better show the (Probably toxic) family dynamic, especially since Warz Gill and Brajira just so happen to look like they're from the same species so it would even look right, but Sentai footage says no.
Why on Earth is it _this_ season that keeps getting claimed? Is it really worth being that protective of it, Toei/Hasbro?

How many times Lewis had to re-upload this series... Copyright balls no doubt.
I actually like some of the elements of Megaforce. The costumes are great. The card idea was kind of fun and new. The Zord being these totem heads was kind of cool, and I like that the Zords (and Rangers) have this “land, sea, sky,” theme rather than elements like previous Ranger teams had. Now the Rangers THEMSELVES could’ve been interesting . . .
Thanks I was actually rewatching this and was missing the first episode !
now that I FINALLY catch up to this series, I can watch them when they upload on this channel... and the first one that appears is Megaforce... lol
Not to play Giritina's advocate here, especially because Megaforce really isn't that good and it has a lot of problems with it, but:
10:19-10:54: Given Zordan as on earth for 10000 years he was probably keeping track of all the ancient enemies and the like of Earth, I wouldn't put it past him given all his extensive backup plans.
Uh-ohhhhhh it's that time again where we get the ReReRe-Upload.
And now I gotta stay up and watch this
I personally do not mind when the Japanese lettering and signage makes its way into the North American show.
Megaforce is somehow both incredibly cheap and stupidly wasteful

Zordon has more contingency plans fucking Batman at this point
Never been this early for linkara video
@@maurabewsmoviecorner6911 Those are indeed words...
I see that this is being reuploaded so cool. Though... a part of me still thinks this: "It is so awkward to be 2 days older than the first episode of Power Rangers' premier! 😓"
I feel bad for you that you had to reupload this. And yes this season was awful
Compressing a 50 episode show into a 20 episode one could be done, though I wonder if there's a rule in the contract stating that PR must adapt most if not all powerups and zords from sentai (plus who would pass the opportunity to sell more merchandise if the design already exists?)
Summer movie toys are usually skipped, which is baffling why PR adapted that pointless train episode when it's only used once in Megaforce anyways.
Marvel Comics superhero team: The Avengers, celebrated 50 years in 2013!
Speaking from experience I was 12 when power rangers Megaforce aired even as a 12-year-old I hated it power rangers samurai got me back in the franchise but Megaforce almost killed my love for power rangers
I was 12 years old when this came out, too. You and I must have born sometime during 2001.
This reminds me, I still haven't finished Beast Morphers
27:15 Gigan, what the heck are you doing in Power Rangers?
Far too complex for you to understand.
Fun fact gosei isn't zordon's student it's just a weird shaoshifting idiot who likes to cause terrible deeds to the planet and I think the aliens just wanted to form a friendship connection and the mega rangers just attacked them causing war and in the final battle gosei mind controlled all the other rangers to make it look like the mega rangers are good
I think we already knew that.
@@InkAndPoet huh good I am not the only one who thinks they can't be the good guys
I've just realised, the morphers have Gosie's face on them, which is fairly egotistical for a giant Tikki head that's in a wall, assuming that Gosie designed them?
Nah cause very egotistical of you Gosei to make the Morphers your face
Troy were on the rooftop and tried to hit a water bottle. Tommy Wiseau hit a water bottle on a rooftop. Oh, oh... Tommy Wiseau exists in the Power Rangers universe. Now it is confirmed. Troy needed to say: "I tried to hit her. I did NOT!" 🤣👍
Can't wait till you do the newer ones
Im so upset at how bad this show is because the villains look so good and creepy
