+EvilClowns69 First time for me, actually. I'm only just starting to get into going for concerts and experiencing music live-- I've always wanted to but my friends don't really have the same music taste as me and I didn't want to go alone. Last week I finally decided to stop waiting around for others and I saw Frank Turner by myself. I'm happy I did, since now I'm also addicted to Skinny Lister. They were amazing live
Frank has a pretty friendly fan base so going to one of his concerts alone isnt all that bad. As long as you enjoyed yourself thats really all that matters
+EvilClowns69, same here. Frank, Skinny Lister, and Beans on Toast was a terrific line-up. I went in a Frank Turner fan and went away a fan of all of them.
I cannot recommend seeing this band live highly enough. The albums are great and RUclips videos are fine but they cannot capture the energy of the live shows.
Same, saw them at coors centre and loved them more than the interrupters! Absolutely phenomenal live performers I’ve never seen anyone like them I had an absolute blast. Got their signatures after and they complimented my rainbow hair so they get bonus points.
Absolutely the best band ever to visit Carlisle, they mad more of an entrance than when the Scots invaded or when the Romans came. Please please come back to see us.
Saw you guys open for The Interrupters in Victoria, British Columbia. When this song came on I screamed so loud my balls dropped off and my genitalia inverted. Grabbed an album from the stand, blasted it on the way home. You guys are really a great act, keep it up. I love seeing a stage full of folk instruments in a punk setting. Also that dude on the Accordion is a fucking beast. I mean you're all beasts but accordion dude was playing that shit like his life depended on it. Great show, would love to see you guys on tour, not just opening. Keep it up.
Splendid video, even if I didn't manage to see myself in the crowd scenes at the 100 Club. I liked Andy Carr's old testament prophet pose, and the fact that at one point you get a brief glimpse of Dave Neale, (one time Skinnies drummer, now Skinnies videographer).
[Verse 1] There was trouble on Oxford Street I lost a little blood and a couple of teeth There was hassle on Oxford Street Learnt a little lesson to watch my cheek [Verse 2] Past Piccadilly and just past drunk I ruffled the hair of a couple of punks And there was panic on Oxford Street Among the mist of the drink and the fists and the feet [Pre-Chorus] There was trouble on Oxford Street my sweet There was trouble on Oxford Street [Chorus] It went off like Krakatoa Like Rocky Balboa I didn’t know where I was Please excuse the bruises Drink got me into this I didn’t know where I was [Verse 3] There was tension on Oxford Street On the last night bus to the A&E Oh, it must have been such a pretty sight Signing on with a blackened eye [Pre-Chorus] There was trouble on Oxford Street my sweet There was trouble on Oxford Street my sweet [Chorus] It went off like Krakatoa Like Rocky Balboa I didn’t know where I was Please excuse the bruises Drink got me into this I didn’t know where I was [Bridge] There was trouble on Oxford Street my sweet Pushed my luck and it knocked me off my feet There was trouble on Oxford Street I lost a little blood and a couple of teeth There was hassle on Oxford Street Learnt a little lesson to watch my cheek [Chorus] x2 It went off like Krakatoa Like Rocky Balboa I didn’t know where I was Please excuse the bruises Drink got me into this I didn’t know where I was
Andy Cook I've been fortunate enough to see them 3 times. Originally saw them with Flogging Molly and have been hooked since. They put on a great show and are the most fan friendly band I've ever seen..
Laura Kampf got me here (well to this band not exactly the song) I usually listen to more HC punk, but this is really cool :D nice, melodic but still got some edge
Energy good....music not so good. Loads of bands tried to replicate the mix of trad/punk following the Pogues, some did it well (but not commercially) some not so well. Then it goes out of fashion, people forget and a new generation comes along with their own version. Fantastic pub band....but that's about it (and please get rid of that bl**dy flagon)
Saw them open for Frank Turner they were great instantly became a fan
+EvilClowns69 same I enjoyed them almost as much as Frank
+justanotherfrog it's amazing how you can become fans of a small band opening up for a bigger band I first heard Frank open for Dropkick Murphys

It's true, m8
Saw them live last night in Trinity College Dublin and they were amazing
Saw them at Southside Festival 2019. Insane show and insane pit.
I highly agree with this! I saw them a couple of nights ago when they opened for The Interrupters in Calgary and they just blew me away!
Same, saw them at coors centre and loved them more than the interrupters! Absolutely phenomenal live performers I’ve never seen anyone like them I had an absolute blast. Got their signatures after and they complimented my rainbow hair so they get bonus points.
I first saw them open for Flogging Molly. After the first song, I WAS HOOKED! Their stage performance is like no other!
+Riley Richards Same! Orbit Room in Michigan. Instantly fell in love
They're supporting again when I see them in December. Looking forward to it!
Same in Dallas
Still touring with Flogging Molly - Same as you... never heard of them before - they're great!
Same!
Great music, and a great group of humans. I sat next to the accordion player on an airplane and he gave me an aerial tour of London!
Absolutely the best band ever to visit Carlisle, they mad more of an entrance than when the Scots invaded or when the Romans came. Please please come back to see us.
Whole damned song about getting your face burgered for running your mouth off at the wrong folk? Sounds like Friday to me. Love it.
"This machine kills dubstep"
Beautiful. :D
See them live. They were the opener and were my favorite of the night
If u ever get a change to see these guys GO! They're live shows are so amazing
I never heard of this band until I saw a interview from The Intereptors that this band supported them. Like what I hear

One of my new favorite bands! Loved you guys jamming with Frank and Beans at Varsity Theater in Dinkytown, Minnesota!
Had so much fun with these guys in Cali ....

Great song! Just pre-ordered the album. By the way, can you put the lyrics in the info section?

Lovin this....brilliant
[Verse 1]
There was trouble on Oxford Street
I lost a little blood and a couple of teeth
There was hassle on Oxford Street
Learnt a little lesson to watch my cheek
[Verse 2]
Past Piccadilly and just past drunk
I ruffled the hair of a couple of punks
And there was panic on Oxford Street
Among the mist of the drink and the fists and the feet
[Pre-Chorus]
There was trouble on Oxford Street my sweet
There was trouble on Oxford Street
[Chorus]
It went off like Krakatoa
Like Rocky Balboa
I didn’t know where I was
Please excuse the bruises
Drink got me into this
I didn’t know where I was
[Verse 3]
There was tension on Oxford Street
On the last night bus to the A&E
Oh, it must have been such a pretty sight
Signing on with a blackened eye
[Pre-Chorus]
There was trouble on Oxford Street my sweet
There was trouble on Oxford Street my sweet
[Chorus]
It went off like Krakatoa
Like Rocky Balboa
I didn’t know where I was
Please excuse the bruises
Drink got me into this
I didn’t know where I was
[Bridge]
There was trouble on Oxford Street my sweet
Pushed my luck and it knocked me off my feet
There was trouble on Oxford Street
I lost a little blood and a couple of teeth
There was hassle on Oxford Street
Learnt a little lesson to watch my cheek
[Chorus] x2
It went off like Krakatoa
Like Rocky Balboa
I didn’t know where I was
Please excuse the bruises
Drink got me into this
I didn’t know where I was

Great song, imagine they must be excellent live
Oh, they are, catch them when they're near you.
I saw them open for Dropkick Murphys and after their set I was mesmerized. Completely blew the other acts that played after them AWAY!
Andy Cook I've been fortunate enough to see them 3 times. Originally saw them with Flogging Molly and have been hooked since. They put on a great show and are the most fan friendly band I've ever seen..
Was great in Vienna :) hope you come back again to Austria ;)
Amaze-to-the-balls … a must see live!!
Aye!!!!!!
Reminds me of The Clash
I hope to see you guys again at cropredy2016
COOL
I love it
Good stuff;)
The good people at The Met have done it again! Yet another band that's going to wow us at Ramsbottom in September.
How do they do it?
God damn these guys are good!
Pure energy :)
Laura Kampf got me here (well to this band not exactly the song)
I usually listen to more HC punk, but this is really cool :D nice, melodic but still got some edge

I fucking love this band!!!!!!!!!!!
Would one of the 17 dislikes please step forward and explain your reasons, thank you!
Did you just assume the gender of Lister?
Oi from Poland 161!
Sorry for beating you in an arm wrestle but us northern men are proud😊 x
I have to ask. The woman in red, I assume is in the band, what instrument does she play? Dance?
Oh wait, she sings. Can't quite hear her on this. Just heard the rest of the old tracks. Looking forward to the new stuff!
Yes that's Lorna...she sings on a few songs like 40 pound wedding and Pellegrine Fly....and is quite the lovely dancer if I might say!
Rock Bands of L.A. com wants Skinny Lister to return to L.A.
sounds like a clash-pouges hybrid in some parts
over 60 000 views are mine :D
George Ezra?
Wtf, a review in lords of metal. This is no metal... :-( :-)
4th Division Pogues Wannabees!
Says someone in the comment section 😂🤦🏼♀️
