Lovely vocal. Thanks.
just beautiful.
Yes I saw Tatum's brilliant version!!!.
To answer your other question, 2-5 is the most common chord progression in jazz. In the key C, the 2-5 is D minor and G7, which are the 2nd and 5th degrees of the major scale: c d e f g a b c. Tea for Two is a definitive 2-5 tune.
EXCELENTE!!!
Really nice. Thanks guys.
Very nice

Absolutely wonderful!
I enjoy this a lot, just Fantastic!
Great work! You don't know how much we appreciate your hard work and effort! Thank you so much!
What a great voice... I'm waiting for the duet album :-)
Kanye West found the dislike button somehow. This is beautiful. I cry every time I hear you say "we won't have it known that we own a 'mobile' phone". Just reminds me of a simpler and better time before "mobile" phones. Damn I hate this world. Thank you for posting this.
I would love to be able to play like this man does. The best!
Bravi....!!!
I love the eloquest sounds of the piano........ Her voice is absolutely amazing!!!
People usually do write ii-V, and I sit corrected, thanks!
Doug,
Thank you for taking the time to share your years of experience with the entire world. Someone linked a video you posted here on the Band In A Box forum.
If you get the chance, please come the join the community there, you're knowledge would be invalueable to people there!

I love a the female jazz voice when it reminds me of a muted trumpet, she's got it.
Thoroughly enjoyed Michelle Benjamin's singing... WOW!
Great jazz performers, waht a groove and a feeling...from where are you guys? Fram Jazzland?
Sounds really good!!
nice vocal.
I love the tone to your voice, it is very unusual and unique, and the piano playing sounds smooth and effortless. Fab :)
wow wow wow that is just incredible
Vy good for Vocal for pianoplayer
wauw, tight rythm , great pianist, great singer!
@mikeinminn Yes, that would be one way of looking at it. I too considered that at first. But then, the more that I've listened to this video, I'm thinking that it is fairly well balanced...sort of. Jane Monheit sang this song, live at the Rainbow Room and if you listen to it, you will see that her voice was the thing...NOT the piano! Therefore the piano music was subdued.
Mobile phone? Wunnerful, wunnerful!
@dgrendahl Also, if they were doing this for a live audience, I doubt she would be in the background. Most likely out front. How do you see this differently?
I think this slight -- but oddly poignant -- tune is sometimes treated in an over-sophisticated way. It is best knocked out with pace and a kind of rhapsodic exuberance for the saturating 2-5s. But thanks for this; it's obvious quality.
I felt the vocalist accompanied the pianist. Should be the other way around.
Good craftsmanship on both though.
Just my opinion
