You should consider getting a bunch of wood chips delivered for free from a local arborist. It'll increase the fungi and bacteria in the soil similar to adding charcoal or burnt wood. Thank you for demo'ing the cultivator. I am about to buy one and was curious if it would work in clay. Looks about 50/50 - likely after a good rain and the soil is softer.
Nice! I just saw Mike Morgan got the battery version of the Kombi system. my neighbor has the gas one like you. I probably should follow suit but went with the DeWalt FlexVolt setup to work with my new DeWalt Max tools. Not saying I won't branch out, but with all the money I have going out for tools (since I never had these tools), I am trying to get the best use out of all the tools so stayed with 1 company for now.
I’m thinking of getting one of these to use in the yard on bare spots that I can’t seem to get grass to grow to break the ground up to give it a better shot. What’s your thoughts?
It really did work good. I’ve used it on some spots that for the last seven years, I’ve had no grass to grow and the ground was hard as a rock I tried just using a rake and that wouldn’t work. this thing broke it all up, and I threw some miracle grow in there and tilled that up with it.
Sprinkle about a tablespoon of Epsom salt around each tomato plant about once per month along with your fertilizer of choice. Started using it about 4 years ago. It is unreal the harvest of tomatoes you will get.
That cultivator head looks like a Mantis tiller head! And it looks like you can reverse the cutter heads as a Mantis tiller does. Put them on the opposite side for just weeding the garden weekly. That way they don`t dig in but work like a powered hoe!

I just put one of these cultivators on my Kombi 91. I was worried that the 91 wouldn't have enough power but it did great. Surprisingly good actually.
Thanks for sharing. That’s the same model my powerhead is
Thanks for sharing your experiences, greetings from The Netherlands.

I bet you’re enjoying some lovely weather up there this time of year
I have a weed eater tiller attachment as well, just used it in our little garden this week.
They are handy for weeding

Works pretty good. My Stihl trimmer doesn’t have the ability to switch out attachments. That’d be nice!
I like the Kombi system

Can Unbolt the head at the end and bolt directly?
Would you recommend this for removing poison ivy?
Is there an attachment that the KM91R will not run efficiently? Thanks
