I got my RH Gold Card last week. Mine arrived within a week of hitting "accept". I also didn't jump on the waitlist early on. I guess I got lucky.

Thanks! I got it for the 3x, and to use in Europe for an extended period with no international fees. I love AMEX, but I can't use AMEX as much there. Also, I don't want to fumble around as many cards like my Savor One and others.
The physical card reminds me of the Apple Card, with no numbers and only my name. Cool card, but let's see how long the 3x on everything lasts.
Did you actually have to fill out a credit card application? Any hard pull?
No hard pull for me, but as we say in the Credit Card community, YMMV. I was expecting one, as the issuer is Coastal Community Bank who I don’t have any bank or credit relationship with. I did have to confirm my info on file though. Then, it showed me the credit limit (20k starting for me) and asked if I ‘ACCEPT’.

The waitlist is BS why do you need to be put on a waitlist, it shouldn’t have been announced. I remember being on the waitlist for the X1 Visa Signature and eventually being invited to apply, second attempt I was approved it was odd then to be on a waitlist. The Neon Money Club Amex has the same waitlist deal going on for months now ha!
Ah I remember the Neon thing. Waitlists are used to build hype I guess. Lock in early sales but that works more with physical product, not ones you have to come back and apply for
